Kempton Park: hotel con bar

E' l'alloggio ideale per chi arriva o sta per andar via da Johannesburg, struttura a 5 stelle ma non eccezionale tutto sommato. La struttura con controlli all'ingresso prevede un complesso di 3 alberghi (uno da 3, uno da 4, e questo da 5 stelle) ed un casinò collegato ad essi. Inoltre, sempre in una galleria al chiuso, sono presenti numerosi ristoranti e fast food per mangiare. In pratica, arrivi in struttura e puoi rimanere dentro senza uscire mai e fare tutto quello che ti serve. Pensato proprio per i turisti che devono dormire a Johannesburg senza ”rischiare” di avventurarsi in giro per la città non molto sicura.

選這裡是因為看中了免費接送機和免費早餐，然而事實上呢，最後一趟接機是晚上11點出發，我11點多到達機場，説夜裡接機就要收費了，我願意出錢，但是卻不能來到達層接我，衹能在汽車站，眾所周知，南非自然一塌糊塗，晚上在路上走被搶的概率非常高！最後我自己花錢打車去他們旅館，發現大門緊閉！旅館位置很偏，晚上連路燈都沒有，黑燈瞎火的，司機又是黑人，大家設身處地想一下，心裏慌不慌？我知道前台晚上11點下班，但是我早就郵件説明：我11點多才落地，12點多才能到，他們明明知道，但仍然沒有留人。等了很久，司機回來，才開門進去。剛開始司機不肯給我房門鑰匙，要我加200蘭特的晚入住的費用，這個費用是我不知道的，之前在攜程下單時沒有告知。第2天為了坐班車去機場，早餐也沒有時間吃。一次並不愉快的入住體驗！

I had one night stay here before my flight back home after 2 weeks in South Africa. I wasn't expecting much as I only booked it last minute and needed somewhere to sleep that was near to the airport. To my surprise I found this place exceptional considering the low price that I payed. The shuttle was swift, the room was nice and comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the pool and bar area were lovely and peaceful which was amazing considering the location within a busy part of town. The best bit I must add though was the food. I had a complimentary breakfast which was brilliant with everything that you'd expect but the optional evening buffet I have to say was probably the best meal I had in the whole time I was in SA. It was absolutely delicious and loved eating it in the ambience of the diing area. This place is a little gem.

Non dispone di un ristorante per la cena, ma di un salone, posto al piano terra e con vista sui giardini dell'albergo, a disposizione per le prime colazioni mentre il cocktail bar, The Silver Moon, offre una vasta scelta di cocktail e snack oltre ad un servizio bar tradizionale. L'albergo ha accesso al vicino Emperor Palace Hotel Casinò (camminata interna di una decina di minuti con accessi stanze tramite pass oppure camminata esterna di una dozzina di minuti) ed ai suoi servizi, tra cui una Spa, una serie infinita di ristoranti ed intrattenimenti serali. Hotel fortemente datato con arredi, Vintage Anni ’80. moquette e ventola del fan coil rumorosa. Eccellente collegamento con l'aeroporto che si trova a pochi minuti di distanza in auto, tramite un servizio navetta gratuito ogni 30 minuti.

My partner and I loved this hotel! It is super convenietly located, you can enter the hotel straight from the airport through a safe walkway. It was very beautiful and very clean. The staff was also very helpful and friendly. I have stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel next to the airport majority of the time, but I can now say that I will always choose the City Lodge at OR Tambo over the Intercontinental at OR Tambo!

Devo prenotare una notte a causa di emergenza familiare e funerale. Ho avuto un check-in tardivo a causa di impegni familiari. La stanza era due letti doppi, confortevoli docce e bagno. Vero comfort per i viaggiatori stanchi. Nel mio recensione come viaggiatore di esperienza, contavo sempre 2 cose importanti 1 è un buon letto confortevole 2 è un bagno spazioso e un bagno con buoni asciugamani. Il personale è altamente consapevole e aiuta i clienti. La sera tardi ci sono stati offerti sandwich extra bianchetti e latte ecc. Il servizio al sole meridionale è caldamente vivo .... quindi lo spirito del Sol Kezner tardi è ancora vivo. Il valore di bk sarà affidabile per soldi comunque con navi aeroportuali ogni 15 minuti. Ci hanno persino permesso di controllare fino a tardi alle 12.

I am a youth leader taking a group to Port Elizabeth. Because of the way our flights worked out we had to spend the night in Johannesburg. I emailed 4 different hotels and Premiere Hotel was the only one to get back to me in a timely fashion. They were extremely helpful and responsive. Mercy was great to work with. They also arraigned transportation for all 34 of us from the airport to the hotel and once at the hotel we all ate in their restaurant and the food was wonderful. Pete, the restaurant manager, was extremely helpful. Overall Premiere hotel took what was the most stressful part of our trip and executed it wonderfully. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The overall amenities of the hotel were absolutely wonderful. The management of this hotel should be proud. 10/10 I cannot recommend them enough.

Abbiamo pernottato solo una notte, struttura carina con camere ampie e pulite. A 10 minuti dall'aeroporto di Johannesburg, con servizio navetta gratuito...in realtà fornito con auto un po vecchiotta ma la gentilezza e simpatia del conducente, ci hanno fatto dimenticare la prima impressione negativa. Colazione piuttosto limitata ma ci hanno spiegato che stanno riniziando a lavorare solo adesso a causa della pandemia.

This hotel is always one of my choices for overnight stay when I have an early flight. Overall service differs by days. However, I was a big disappointment with the hotel’s room service within my stay at this hotel … I called countless with no answer, I even called the front office but no luck as well. I was exhausted from my trip and wanted to order a room service. Due to their unavailability I had to make a trip downstairs to have dinner. Their amenities are average, you have to buy dental kit which costs R60. There was no shampoo, comb or shower cap in the room. Only one bottle of water in the room. Recommended for not more than 2 days!!

L’Emerald Guesthouse si trova a cinque minuti dall’aeroporto ed è facile da raggiungere. Comodo per chi è in arrivo o in partenza. Camera un po’ troppo semplice e fredda di notte. Il personale è accogliente e gentile ma le camere vanno riviste, i mobili e i letti sono da sostituire
