The hotel was packed due to the Chiefs/Bengals game but still check in check out was fast and easy! The bedroom was clean the bed and pillows Awesome!

They experienced some plumbing issues on a couple of floors that caused some not so pleasant odors. But they did Everyrhing to make it right. Breakfast was awesome. I'd stay there again.

We loved having the option to shuttle to the plaza for dinner!
Check in was great and the service couldn’t have been better. There was standing water in our tub upon arrival (minimal but there nonetheless) and our tv remote didn’t work. And my family and I noted the smell of sewage in the halls for the entire duration of our stay. Other than that the room seemed clean and we would stay again.

Nice hotel. We have stayed here before in the past and enjoyed it. Just a few blocks from the plaza.
Only “bad” thing-which really isn’t bad thought-by our air unit in our room-you can tell there was some water damage due to the fact that the wallpaper was peeling around the unit-but it was up on the wall pretty high, so unless if you were staring up at it, you didn’t notice it.
But great hotel! Will be back!

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had in a long while. The bathroom was not cleaned well at all...hair everywhere. The bed was uncomfortably hard (I usually prefer a firm mattress, pillows were flat. The room was very damp/humid and the air system worked poorly.
Only one elevator was working on a Friday night when it was quite busy. In a hotel with 19(ish) floors, that's crazy! It took us over 20 minutes to get to our room. We took the steps down 8 flights of stairs when we went to dinner (which were also a mess because we had to take two separate flights from our floor to get to the main lobby).
The fire alarms went off for several minutes (for no reason) around 1am, with not explanation or cancelation announcement.....they just left everyone wondering what was going on.
The front desk staff was less than friendly, although I'm sure they had a lot of complaints to deal with from irritated guests.
I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this stay was just AWFUL. It should have been a relaxing night out of town at a nice hotel, but instead I left the next morning feeling tired and frustrated.

The front desk person was not very friendly when I checked in and asked about parking. I had requested a kind size bed, but had a room with two queen beds. The elevator only had one out of four working. We went to the bar to eat and the first two things we ordered were out of stock. Ordered a chicken salad and took well over 30 mins to get. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Fantastic property, exceptional service, immaculate room. Lots of road construction outside the hotel, so confusion when trying to figure out how to pull into the garage. But construction is always temporary. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Will definitely stay here again. The staff was very friendly and took care of a pretty big issue without hesitation. Will say the buffet breakfast is prob not worth $19 but it was good. Parking is a bit of a challenge (tight spots and narrow lanes) but that was prob the biggest downside of the whole place. Location was within walking distance to County Club Plaza and only 15 mins to downtown KC.

The hotel with 19 floors only had 1 elevator that was operational during our stay. This was very inconvenient and sometimes we needed to wait 20 minutes to get on the elevator. We were on the 16th floor so walking up the steps was not an option. Also, the breakfast price is $20 per person for a cold buffet. Not worth the price. Since there were no other breakfast options, I had no choice but to eat at the hotel. I sat down with my father for breakfast and was advised by the waiter Mike that we would need to pay $20 per person. After we finished eating, I asked for the check and paid. My father and I got up and started to walk towards the exit when another waitress started yelling at me, "Sir, you need to pay. Where are you going", I was completely embarrassed as the restaurant was full of guests. I replied, "We paid our waiter already, what is the issue? I am shocked by her behavior and this was really unacceptable behavior to accuse me of not paying when I had settled the bill already. Long story short, I will never stay at this hotel nor should anyone be treated this way.
