Ho trascorso un fine settimana con la mia famiglia all’insegna del divertimento e spensieratezza. Ci siamo trovati bene con i servizi forniti dalla struttura. I miei figli hanno partecipato alle attività del mini club e grazie a ciò abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere nuove persone e divertirci insieme ai ragazzi dell’animazione. Gianluca il capo villaggio é molto professionale e gentile con tutti. Il mare è pulito e molto molto bello! Ci torneremo presto!

I am writing this review whilst still in the resort and I have to say for what we paid for a family of 4, we have had/having a great time. The hotel albeit not very old has rustic charm given the materials they use and their determination to recycle, however even though the hotel is only 5-years old they are now renovating the balconies around the main pool, which can be sometimes annoying due to drilling. The staff here, in my opinion are extremely friendly and Jambo ”Hello” is the word you will always hear. Reception: We arrived in the resort at about 9am but couldn't get into our rooms until 2pm, which after 20-hours of travel is a pain and it appears that many guests arrive early so perhaps the hotel should think about revising their check in times? Rooms: The rooms are lovely, rustic and minimalist but comfy. They are cleaned very day and you can have your bed/towels changed as often as you like, you just need to make it known. There is a mosquito net over the bed, which the maids let down every night, whilst also spraying the room. We have been bit several times by mosquitoes so make sure you take plenty of sprays. Pools: We only sat round the Zanzibar Bay main pool, which was very nice. It has a bar that opens from 10am through until 7pm serving soft drinks and alcohol. The beer is nice and poured out of bottles so l imagine not watered down and the spirit measures are plentiful. The sun beds are a little uncomfortable but you get used to them. Look out for the resident monkey who is great entertainment and a great photo opportunity. Bars: As well as the pool bar around the Zanzibar Bay pool, there is also one around the Paradise Beach hotel side (guests can use either). There is the Coconut Bar, which closes at 11pm and a lot of guests drink in this bar in the evening. A special mention to Masoud who is a brilliant bar tender and so friendly. Restaurants: There are 3 restaurants, main buffet, which is ok but like all main buffets can get a bit repetitive. Breakfasts in my opinion are limited but you can always find something to eat. The Indian and Asian restaurants were great and have to be booked in the morning but are very tasty and well worth several visits. Trips: We spent days out on trips, Nmemba Island, which was snorkelling, dolphin spotting and sand bank, we also did a 3-stop trip, which was Spice Farm, Prison Island and Stone Town, which was a full day and dragged on a bit but was still interesting and finally we did another boat trip, which consisted of seeing the Rock restaurant, snorkelling in the blue lagoon, star fish and relaxing on Mangrove Island, which was excellent value for money. Weather: We stayed from 5th July for 2-weeks and the weather has been mixed, sun, cloud, rain but I think it's the norm for this island and definitely unpredictable but it was around 30 degrees each day and warm enough at night for t-shirt and shorts. Summary: I think because of the distance and the fact there are only so many things to do

Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in questo meraviglioso resort . Il personale gentilissimo sempre disponibile , la camera sempre pulita cibo ottimo e una buona scelta . La location un posto bellissimo spiaggia super e mai affollata con dei colori stupendi quando e bassa marea, beach boys e masai fantastici e simpaticissimi . Beach boys Luca Toni +255773659701 Mango +255621737203 Scaldabagno Fidatevi tranquillamente di loro per le escursioni che conoscono bene il posto e vi raccontano un sacco di cose della loro terra ma anche i masai come Kilian , Ikea , Mangia Sabbia tutti molto simpatici. Come da titolo al nostro arrivo al Golden Tulip Airport l'impressione non è stata delle migliori, non perchè non sia bello , ma per l'accoglienza . Alla hall ci dicono che la nostra camera non è nel primo blocco principale , bensi' in una struttura attigua gemella nuova , all'inizio ci arrabbiamo molto , perchè non capiamo il motivo anche perchè la camera l'abbiamo pagata fior di euro , comunque in due minuti raggiungiamo a piedi l'altro blocco e scopriamo che la parte esterna , piscina , ristorante , bar sono bellissimi e non hanno niente a che vedere con la piccola piscina su internet dell'hotel principale, quindi ci rassereniamo, mahhh il problema ora è in questa nuova hall perchè ci tengono mezz'ora perchè non trovano il nostro pagamento!!!!! hanno la prenotazione , ma non trovano il pagamento , preso tanto nervoso, perso tempo inutile una cosa assurda che non ci era mai capitato! Nonostante noi avessimo dimostrato il pagamento e tutto quanto, alla fine ci danno la camera con la promessa che continuano la ricerca perchè hanno visto la nostra buona fede! Ci danno la camera , carina e nuova al piano terra con finestre e veranda esterna , e qui c'è un altro problema, ovvero fuori in cortile ci sono dei lavori in corso quindi rumori fastidiosi e continui, sono le 18.00 chiedo a chi ci ha accompagnato in camera quando finiranno , ci dice , subito, ora! ... alle 20: 30 lavoravano ancora, incavolati neri chiamiamo e chiediamo che i lavori cessino immediatamente! in quanto noi dobbiamo riposare perchè la mattina seguente ci dobbiamo svegliare presto , finalmente smettono. Da li poi tutti è andato bene, ci hanno confermato il pagamento, siamo andati a cena, abbiamo mangiato all'esterno intorno alla piscina atmosfera incantevole, abbiamo ordinato dei Samosa vegetariani e una tempura di frutti di mare, tutto delizioso e impiattato bene , pane fatto in casa, prezzi in $, non vendono alcol , personale gentile, piscina e zona lettini spettacolare ... si sentono gli aerei passare ma non disturbano. In camera , il letto gigante comodissimo, con materasso e topper, TV , bollitore con selezione te, caffè, frigobar, no amenities tipo le ciabattine, ne spazzolino dentifricio, solo sapone e docciaschiuma nei dispenser, asciugamani in abbondanza, bagno piccolo . Dovendo alzarci alle 5 del mattino , abbiamo chiesto se ci fosse una breakfast box , ma avendo un ritardo sul volo , ci siamo alzati piu' tardi e abbiamo fatto la colazione al buffet, colazione varia, con frutta, yogurt, brioches, cereali, latte, caffe, te, piatti caldi e uova , direi una buona colazione! ... Avevo scelto questo hotel anche perchè offrivano il deposito bagagli e cosi' abbiamo lasciato una valigia grande e un trolley , per poi tornare a riprenderli, questo servizio Gratis, è stato preziosissimo, mi sono sentita molto sicura e tranquilla, tutto sommato è un bel hotel elegante , ci ritornerei e lo consiglierei , solo che consiglierei di preparare meglio il personale all'accogli

We stayed here for one week in a superior bungalow in December over new years. The welcome was lovely and personally met by the guest experience manager with a refreshing cold wet flannel and a chilled fresh juice bought to you as well. Once the paper work is done you get shown around your room. Our bungalow was big and clean with a big comfortable bed, the room was cleaned and mopped and every day, in the evening a turn down service where they also sprayed the room and removed any rubbish. There was a kettle, fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer , a free safe with the key on your door key ring and fresh safe drinking water which is replenished every day as well as drinks in the fridge. We booked directly with the hotel and booked the experienced couples package which included 7Nts all inclusive, airport transfers, trip to the spice farm and stone town. Food is cooked to order you get a breakfast and lunch menu with specials at lunch and dinner is a new menu every night. All produce is washed in bottled water and ice is also made from it as well. The food is delicious but the service doesn’t match the standard which lets the experience down. We could be waiting up to an hour for food and drinks get forgotten so you have to re order again and again. It’s a shame as having this organised in a more efficient way would only improve their guests experience, there are enough staff but seem to hang around chatting or polishing glasses with their backs to the guests. The staff are lovely and genuinely seem happy at work and always have a friendly welcome and or smile for guests. Tips are in a box at reception and divided to all staff. Service is slow around the pool and we didn’t see any snacks or offer of them. The pool bar hardly ever has anyone there serving. The jetty is a lovely place to lounge as there’s a lovely breeze and even though the tide is way out they have made a pool to reserve sea water which is cleaned every 2 days, there is a bar at the jetty as well but again you only get service if it is staffed even though it says it’s open 11-17:00. They have a tip box at reception that gets divided among all staff so this is a good incentive for them to all do their best. They also have a basket for any donation for the less fortunate in the community which was lovely. I purchased some sanitary pads when we went to stone town and put them in there. There isn’t much outside the hotel so you can’t just go for a walk. There is no beach due to the tide and the mangrove it’s just sandy mud in the day and when the tide comes is it’s right up to the hotel. They do have a transfer service to and from a beach which is an 11 minute drive and you need to book it the day before. All you need to do is purchase a drink at the beach bar for the use of their beds. You take beach towels from the hotel to use there.
