根本沒有海灘，去海灘還要坐酒店的船過去，那一排的酒店，這個最貴，但是真的很一般，去浮潛20美金，還有去一個島，我們去了一天下雨了沒有去成整個住宿體驗感很差呀，但是泳池非常好，外面根本找不到吃飯的地方，酒店晚餐是自費，都是西餐，還可以

餐廳環境不錯，整個酒店規模較小，夠不上五星，有點民宿的感覺

Le aspettative su questo Resort erano altissime , infatti sin dall'ingresso si percepisce che lo standard che vogliono dare è altissimo , siamo stati portati in giro con le golf cart , i giardini sono curatissimi, la hall piuttosto scenografica come la vista sulle Over water Villas. Ma l'accoglienza al desk non è stata delle migliori, mi è mancata l'ospitalità, la professionalità, la responsabile è stata molto fredda , siamo anche soci Marriott Bonvoy . Il Resort è in se molto bello , ha una bellissima boutique e una palestra, parco giochi , camere garden e una serie di ville fronte mare oltre le Water Villa , da cui pero' non si puo' accedere direttamente al mare , ma dal pontile. Ecco il pontile l'ho trovato poco curato, non all'altezza di tutte le altre parti comuni mancanza di dettagli, non c'è un vero bar, i tavolini erano sporchi purtroppo non è sfruttato come dovrebbe essere perchè ha un gran potenziale , tuttavia è comodo per prendere il sole in tranquillità e fare il bagno accedendo dalla scala, l'hotel mette a disposizione maschere e pinne ( noi avevamo le nostre) , vicino è possibile fare un discreto snorkeling , ma attenzione ai ricci presenti sotto il pontile, il mare è straordinario , turchese , colori mozzafiato stile Maldive, consiglio un giro in barca a Blue lagoon che è vicinissima . Il Ristorante è arredato con gusto , noi abbiamo mangiato all'esterno perchè all'interno c'era l'aria condizionata molto alta , il menu' è vario, prezzi in $ molto alti , pane fatto in casa molto apprezzato servito con salsine di accompagnamento, abbiamo ordinato un Fish & chips e un King Fish alla griglia, la nota dolente per me impensabile che le patatine erano quelle surgelate! A Zanzibar in tanti anni che veniamo e con le patate buonissime che ci sono non mi è mai capitato di trovare patatine surgelate ,mi aspettavo le patatine tagliate fresche e fritte , il pesce fritto invece era ben fatto e non unto , ma il King fish era una porzione minuscola, il cibo per noi non è stato all'altezza di un 5 stelle ! Il Resort è arroccato, e sottostante c'è una piccola spiaggia che affiora con la bassa marea e si copre con l'alta , il tratto di mare fino al pontile non è balneabile in quanto ha un fondale roccioso , il bagno si puo' fare o con l'alta marea ( consiglio le scarpette da scoglio) o meglio dal pontile! La piscina è carina di medie dimensioni con lettini e gazebi e asciugamani puliti , bello il bar e l'altalena per fare le foto. Basterebbe veramente poco per rendere questo Resort una struttura da sogno! Lo consiglio a chi cerca tranquillità in una zona non intaccata dal turismo di massa.

Abbiamo prenotato questo 5 STELLE a prezzi anche decisamente elevati pensando di avere un servizio di tale livello. Ci siamo trovati ad avere a che fare con una struttura mal organizzata e peggio gestita, con staff maleducato e poco professionale. La prenotazione era per tre adulti e ci siamo trovati una stanza con un terzo letto da bambini di max. 8 anni; nel momento in cui abbiamo spiegato che era impossibile dormirci ci hanno messo una brandina che di fatto ha bloccato qualsiasi movimento all’interno della stanza, senza nemmeno spazio per aprire le valige. Il trattamento riservatoci è stato di una maleducazione mai sperimentata. La camera era sporca, con sotto i letti almeno due dita di polvere; in uno dei due giorni non ci sono stati rimpiazzati gli asciugamani e nonostante i solleciti non sono arrivati in tempo utile. La mattina a colazione gente in piedi in attesa di sedersi, caos totale e 25 minuti per avere un cappuccino. La spiaggia, tanto decantata e messa nella denominazione dell’albergo, per gran parte della giornata non c’è e comunque non è mai agibile. Ma la cosa peggiore è stata veramente il modo di porsi del personale, in particolare della “supervisor”.

La struttura è assolutamente stupenda, moderna e ben progettata. Il personale non avrebbe potuto essere più accogliente. Questo lato dell'isola è remoto ma pittoresco e molto più tranquillo di Nungwi o Stone Town. Se stai cercando di rilassarti, hai la possibilità di trascorrere la giornata nella fantastica piscina della proprietà con la vista più bella. Se vuoi uscire, altre opzioni sono utilizzare la spiaggia della proprietà o andare in una spiaggia vicina. Se vi trovate in zona fermatevi al ristorante Rock per bevande e/o cibo ma prenotate in anticipo sul loro sito web. La spiaggia è bellissima, quindi puoi anche programmare un po' di relax - in alternativa il tramonto dalla spiaggia di Kono Kono era 🤩 Consiglio vivamente di fare un giro. La colazione era abbondante e con una bella vista, quindi dal mio punto di vista un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Tuttavia, tieni presente che odio solo la pizza in hotel, ma non sono rimasto colpito dalla qualità per il prezzo praticato. Onestamente, ho letto alcune recensioni negative e non lasciare che ti facciano perdere l'occasione di trascorrere qualche notte in questa struttura. Vorrei andare prima a Nungwi e tenere questo lato dell'isola per la fine del viaggio per un vero relax. JF

Most romantic place. Quiet,secluded and very well run resort . The staff catered to your every request -efficiently and promptly. Rooms tastefully decorated and maintained. Dinners at the restaurant were well priced and nicely served I would definitely come back here

The hotel is set on a cliff with a beautiful ocean view. The staff makes you feel right at home. They have villas with private pools and spacious rooms with ocean views (2nd floor) as first floor has a hedge that partially blocks it if sitting on patio chairs. One restaurant with breakfast buffet (only included if you get the rate that includes it). The rest of the day a la carte menu, night time they add a BBQ option in the upstairs. The bar is in a nice outdoor area overlooking the water. They also offer a daily trip to a sandbar (complimentary) and to a snorkeling area (Blue Lagoon) minutes away for a small fee with snorkeling gear included. There isn’t really a beach area with beach chairs, unless tide is low but still no beach chairs. When tide is low you can walk to other beach areas or get the hotel to take you for a small fee by car. Pool area is comfortable with beds and chairs with a nice view. There is a long dock leading to the jetty with an ocean view bar that only opens during high season. I totally recommend this hotel for a comfortable calm stay.

Decent resort for holiday break with good restaurants and food services ruled by a wise and well expert manager / Emanuel special regards and thanx for making orders more flexible and well tasted

We were really looking forward to our stay, but sadly the experience didn’t meet the expectations of a five-star resort. First impressions weren’t great—the reception bathroom was unclean, had water all over the floor, and smelled unpleasant. The hand towels were worn out and ragged. On the positive side, we were offered a welcome drink during checking in. Communication with staff was a consistent issue throughout our stay, as most did not speak English well, leading to several misunderstandings and incorrect orders. Only one or two team members were able to assist us properly and give a five star experience. Our room wasn’t much better. The bedding was old with some small tears, and some towels had even more glaring tears which was disappointing. The spa experience was also below par—spa beds malfunctioned during our session, and the equipment used for our pedicures appeared dirty and even rusty. The massages felt rushed and lacked the quality you'd expect from a 5-star facility. Food-wise, the options were limited. There are only two restaurants on the property, and the selection was mediocre at best. We requested a packed breakfast for an excursion and received two slices of plain white bread, a boiled egg, and some fruit—definitely not five-star fare. The resort markets itself as a beach property, but the beach is a small, man-made area. For a real beach experience, we had to leave the resort. Another strange moment was receiving a phone call in our room after 9 PM just to ask what time we were checking out the next day—something that could’ve easily been handled earlier or the next morning. The staff interaction would range from exceptional to below par too often depending on who you came into contact with. On a more positive note, there were some standout staff members. Peter provided exceptional service throughout our stay—always cheerful, helpful, and genuinely caring. June was also very kind and accommodating, and our driver, Suleiman, who took us to and from Shanga was wonderful. In summary, while we appreciated the efforts of a few excellent staff members, the overall experience did not reflect a true five-star standard. There’s a lot of room for improvement.

We were upgraded to a stunning waterfront view, and the room was beautiful. Big thanks to Omar, Vanessa, and Olivo at the bar and restaurant—great service all around. The whole team was warm and welcoming. The views were breathtaking! Can’t wait to come back.
