I came to Kathmandu after a very long flight, completely exhausted and still a little stressed, because I hadn't booked a place to stay at yet. While walking out of the airport, some guy told me he had a good Hostel to stay at, and because I was way too tired to look for anything else, I just took it, half expecting to get scammed. But no, I'm so glad now I found this place, because it's just so comfortable, has a fair price and is placed well in the center of Kathmandu. But most importantly, the people working there were so incredibly nice, after a few days they weren't just some people that worked there, to me they became friends. In the evening we used to chill on the roof with a beautiful view of nighttime Kathmandu and just talk for hours. They were so welcoming to me and helped me out with things they wouldn't have to. I know exactly where I'm gonna stay when my journey brings me to Kathmandu again: 8848 Hostel! PS: Greetings to the fellows!

I stayed in 8848 hostel after getting touch from airport. Hostel is clean , staff are friendly,location is in centre. I really recommend people who want to stay in 8848 hostel. They also have travel agency in downstairs . They are very professionals.

When We first day visit nepal we do't know anything fist day was very full painful day than one guy suggest contact with bishal from 8848 hostel than our journey is blast. all credit goes to bishal. We come anytime nepal need this type of service of bishal and thanks a lot bishal. for this service and anyone come nepal visit kathmandu need enjoyable tour than please contact with bishal from 8848 hostel. hostel is very nice and their all service was good and staff all are too much friendly and food are very delicious and above all this hostel was too much good and very nice. And hospitality was very nice. If you come nepal than must be stay in 8848 hostel.

Very good service from the Bishal he is very helpfull boy i ever seen my hoal life i am always come nepal always stay this this hostel i need also this boy bishal he our favorite guideline boy and i m nepal first cl bishal for always thanke bishal for service ❤️ This very nice and chepest and good view hostel Staf all the friendly behaber also 😂

This is the most conveniently located hotel in Kathmandu. Everything looks quite new. The rooms are comfortably-sized, the beds are comfortable, and hot water never runs out in the shower, no matter how many people use it. The other hotels ask the same price but don't offer the same comfort. The chef is very good, the food is priced reasonably (the most expensive dish is $3), there is a fancy espresso machine in the lobby café, and it's next-door to a juice/fruit stall. The street where trekking clothes are sold is nearby. If anyone's going to Kathmandu, I would recommend them to stay at 8848 Hotel. Tell the staff that Sean referred you! They are also doing tours as Top of the World Adventure, which is the only travel or hotel company with an office located inside the airport, and the other office of Top of the World Adventure is right on the 2nd floor of 8848 Hotel!

i was at this hostel for last night (14-01-2022 to 15-01-2022) and i got a luxury room ,neat n clean ,helpfull staffs and and i had a nice coffee downstairs .this hostel have a coffee shop as well ,for coffee lovers 😆highly recommend this hostel for upcoming guests .

In a word, their service is too much better. We are very happy with their behaviour, food and all services. Their hostel is very nice and of good quality. All of them are very friendly especially Bishal is very friendly and he has helped us a lot.

We spent 6 nights spaced out by tekking. from the airport we were welcomed perfectly. The staff is particularly warm. We made a list of everything we wanted to do, they organized everything at our request, with great care. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists seeking adventure in Nepal.
