This youth hostel is a 10-minute walk from Karlsruhe Castle and the city centre. On-site leisure activities include volleyball, basketball, football, table football and table tennis. Dormitories at Jugendherberge Karlsruhe are simply furnished. There is a wash basin in almost every room, and shared showers and toilets are available in the hallway. Wi-Fi is available for a surcharge in public areas. Breakfast, lunch and evening buffets are prepared in the spacious and light-flooded dining room. A selection of snacks and drinks are also served throughout the day. Bed linen and towels are provided. Guests can also make use of laundry facilities and a bicycle storage cellar. Private parking is free at Jugendherberge Karlsruhe. Tram and S-Bahn connections are available at the lively Europaplatz, just 750 metres away.Mostra di più

As we were accompanying a group of 50 students, we had made our arrangements in advance by contacting the hostel on the basis of the comments. In fact, the hostel is clean, with no problems whatsoever with insects, cockroaches or bedbugs. The hostel is ideally located 10 minutes walk from the city centre in a very quiet area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Very good experience.

Die Jugendherberge in Karlsruhe ist eine sehr schöne Alternative zu teuren Hotels. Die Jugendherberge verfügt über sehr saubere Zimmer; jedoch ohne Klimaanlage. Ein Heizkörper ist aber vorhanden. In jedem Zimmer gibt es eine sehr saubere Dusche und eine sehr saubere Toilette. Das Bett war sehr sauber und bequem. Die Zimmer können nur mit einem Schlüssel geöffnet werden; sind somit sehr sicher. Jeder Gast bekommt zwei Schlüssel. Einen Haustür-Schlüssel sowie einen Zimmerschlüssel. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich sowie hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Sehr schöner und sauberer Frühstücksraum. Im Übernachtungspreis ist das Frühstück inbegriffen. Es ist gegen Aufpreis auch eine Vollpension mit Mittag- und Abendessen möglich. Vor dem Haus befinden sich kostenfreie Parkplätze. Das Haus ist leider nicht behindertengerecht eingerichtet. Bereits vor dem Haus sowie auch im Gebäude selbst gab es keinen Fahrstuhl. Herberge ist nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer geeignet. Keine 24 Stunden Rezeption; jedoch bekommt der Gast einen Haustür-Schlüssel. Kreditkartenzahlung war möglich. Gepäckaufbewahrung im Keller möglich. Verschiedene Getränke- und Süssigkeitenautomaten vorhanden. Hinter dem Haus gab es für die Kleinsten einen Kinderspielplatz; für die Grösseren einen Volleyball- sowie auch einen kleinen Fussballplatz. Sehenswürdigkeiten, Museen, Kirchen, Innenstadt, Restaurants und Cafe etc. können von der Herberge in nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Fernstreckenanschluss in der Nähe. Würde dort wieder übernachten, sofern ich mich in der wunderschönen Stadt Karlsruhe aufhalte.
