Inizialmente sono andato perché la posizione era buona, ma non appena mi sono sdraiato sul letto, ho sentito un forte odore di sudore. Ho annusato attentamente che qualcuno era sdraiato su uno dei cuscini e c'era un odore molto puzzolente di sudore rimasto dietro. Ho detto al bancone che l'avevo cambiato con un altro. Per i cuscini, il cameriere ha cambiato con riluttanza il copripiumino e le lenzuola dopo avergli chiesto di farlo. Il copripiumino stava ancora lavando il pavimento davanti a noi, il che ha reso l'igiene esperienza molto scarsa. All'inizio volevo evitare di imbrogliare, quindi ho scelto un hotel serio, ma ho comunque commesso un errore. Successivamente, il mio collega mi ha chiesto e gli ho consigliato di andare semplicemente all'85 Building e scegliere un hotel no bisogna spendere questi soldi. 

This hotel is quite busy, likely due to its location at Pier 2, a popular area with tourists. The check-in and check-out process is impressively efficient and automated, taking just a minute, which I appreciated. The breakfast area was definitely the highlight of the stay—there was a great variety of food and coffee, with small changes every day to keep it interesting. The hotel also offers a self-laundry service for TWD100, which is convenient. On the downside, there were a few issues with the room. The bed was uncomfortable, as it sank too much, and the bedsheets and towels appeared a bit greyish. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell and was very mouldy, which made the overall experience less enjoyable.

I mean, with the price paid, I've expected so much more.

The hotel is nice and the food is good. The location is awesome.

Hotel room was spacious, really good size. Location was also rather convenient. Close to the metro, a park, the sea and also a convenience store. Lots of places to walk around and see in the vicinity.

Good location & very near to light train station , clean & big room. Breakfast is normal.

Good Point Clean. The floor and wall flashes✨ Spacious double beds. Good for a couple or group🛌🏻 Delicious breakfast🥙 Bad Point 10mins walk from the nearest MRT station It's not an "ocean" view but "harbour" view *Don't expect sometimes as in Hawaii, Miami, and Los Angeles

Nothing fancy clean great location no parking on site next to pier 2

Room is big and spacious. It included breakfast but it was only till 9:30am. As things in Kaohsiung generally don't open till 11:30-12:00. I think the breakfast time ended rather early.

The location of Kaohsiung City Hotel was a definite highlight. Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to major attractions, shopping areas, and public transportation. I appreciated the hotel's proximity to local markets, allowing me to explore the vibrant street food scene and experience the local culture. The rooms at Kaohsiung City Hotel were clean, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space to rest after a day of exploration. While the decor was simple and understated, the amenities provided were sufficient for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the room had basic amenities such as a TV, air conditioning, and a private bathroom.

Nice location, plenty of choices at breakfast, attentive service

Hotel is spacious and near to convenient stores. Toilet floor tiles (dry section) not properly cleaned and water stains could still be seen. Generally a nice hotel for large families as the suite can accommodate up to 6 pax and is value-for-money.

Clean, and very convenient to eat and ride public transportation😊

Steps away from LRT. Beautiful harbor area. Plenty of interesting things to see, to walk around, to explore. Will definitely come back.
