Hotel Lotus Kansas City Stadium

I arrived 2 hours before check in time. The front desk stated it would be $50 additionally to check in. I dont find that to be good customer service. 5 Star Hotels let you check in early with no extra charge as long there are rooms ready. The website boasts of hot breakfast, but there was a sign that said no hot breakfast. Just old and stale pastries, and empty container of shared milk, no coffee was available, etc. This place is a far cry from the 3 star accommodation it says it is. I wont be staying again. There are better hotels within 10 minutes of this property. It was jist convenient.

We came during construction, so the parking lot was not finished and they only served hot breakfast one day while we were there.

For the price the Hotel was great.. Front Desk Personnel were friendly Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast had a nice variety and set up.. it’s an older Hotel but was clean and looked very nice on the inside and the proximity right across from Kauffman and Arrowhead was great for anyone going to a Game.. about a 10 minute drive to the Power and Light District.. it was a good stay and will book again

We came to Kansas City for a concert and chose this hotel..hands down, I will choose to stay here again. The staff were friendly, prompt, and courteous. Breakfast was good, hopefully next time we will get to try the hot breakfast.I will be recommending The Lotus to others who plan to stay in the area

The staff was really friendly and the the hotel room& hotel itself was clean and beautiful,& the bed was like a cloud 10/10 would recommend to others.

The room had zero ventilation and the white towel were all stained. I had a do not disturb sign up and they were still trying to come in my room. The said hit breakfast but it wasn’t hot. Service overall was terrible. I went somewhere else.

Hotel Lotus - They need to update their website, it is EXTREMELY misleading & false advertising. We stayed for 15 days. NOT 1 day was there HOT food like advertised on website. They did have a pancake maker but it NEVER worked out ENTIRE stay. We chose to stay at Hotel Lotus ONLY because the websites offer of amenities (HOT food (eggs, sausage & bacon, potatoes, waffles & of course, cold cereal). I paid $1,662.25 for 15 days that was 'SUPPOSED' to have HOT breakfast. I honestly believe I deserve some kind of refund or at least 2-3 days of comped stay.

The front desk check in was pleasant. Upon entering my room I observed blood on my bed linen. I attempted to use the in room telephone to contact the front desk but it wasn't operational. It was just room decoration. In the bathroom there was liquid on the floor in the area of the commode, hair in the bathtub/shower from prior guess and trash and pop tabs on the floor in the room. I went to the front desk and reported the blood on the linen. The desk attendant said that they would come and see and he/she did. I was given different bed linen which I had to put on the bed myself. The elevator overhead floor indicator is a mess ( need repair ). The breakfast was liken from my December 1 2023 encounter ( the prior breakfast was the reason I rebooked this reservation but was a shock to me at breakfast and the other mentioned gross discrepancies ). I had rebooked my reservation for this stay in December ( $80.10 plus tax ) but upon checking hotel prices in January I saw the new price of ( $71.00 plus tax ). On the initial $80.10 I paid about $16 and some change but the $71.00 stay, I had to pay tax plus property fees which was almost / close to$20. How could that be? I see the rates are over $100 now.

At time of reservation, website is EXTREMELY misleading. There's NO HOT BREAKFAST as advertised NO smoking rooms First room was in, thermostat did NOT work (very uncomfortable in room) Honestly, the website is FALSE advertising HOT breakfast. I feel I should get a REFUND/CREDIT or SOMETHING for this company's FALSIFICATION.
