Very delicious food and great location

在康提市郊，山頂。 上山的路陡峭崎嶇，然而進入酒店後發現小而精美，人情味十足，餐廳俯瞰康提山谷，風景非常棒。 值得提出的是服務態度： 我們帶一個孩子，在基本上所有的酒店都加15-20刀的額外費用，然而這裏給我們免了，還送了一個孩子早餐 特別要highlight的是晚上的自助餐，原本想單點的，經理再三規勸下，本着不給他們添麻煩的心態勉強點了自助，結果發現是意想不到的驚喜。 就………真的都蠻細緻蠻好吃的。特別是吃了幾天五星的不敢恭維的自助餐後，這裏絕對驚喜了。 其他不説了，推薦 照片沒有處理過，光線不太好，實際比照片好

1.蚊子多，叫個蚊香打了三次電話，等了兩個鍾，準備洗澡的時候抬頭髮現洗手盆旁邊一衹手掌大的黑蜘蛛，這把我給嚇得，這應該是有毒的那種，還有很多大的黃蟻 2.山上網絡不好，wif信號很差，工作軟件根本無法打開，3.上山的路很難走，還是有點危險，不值走這一趟，4.房間床品有濕臭味，床單被套起毛，極度不舒服，5.裝修老，屋內設備舊，800一晚性價比不高6.關於食物，算比較中肯，但是點了份咖喱燉牛肉居然咬不動，價格不算便宜，一份蘑菇湯30rmb，早餐食物比較少，基本沒有主食，好在有雞蛋香腸麪包可以填飽肚子7.關於風景，不考慮蚊蟲多的話，早上起來能看見雲海，房間前面有非常非常小的綠草地，空氣還不錯，視野不錯，這是唯一的優點了，但是酒店規模非常小，上山的路途遠並且很難走的小路，不僅崎嶇而且都是黃泥，沒有一點技術的司機説實話挺危險的，總體完全不推薦，不會想來第二次

檔次較高，環境一流，康提山上，離城區較運

服務很好，環境一般，房間很潮濕，有大蟲子。勝在地理位置很好，在康提的山頂上了，視野不錯，早上起來能聽到佛牙寺的誦經唸佛聲音，可以看到晨霧。

Il posto è favoloso: punto panoramico bellissimo, personale super gentile e professionale. Sin dal nostro arrivo ci siamo innamorati di questo posto dello Sri Lanka! In camera cu sono tantissimi confort e una selezione di the locale. Vorrei rimanere più di una notte.

A Giugno, nel corso di un lungo e articolato tour dello Sri Lanka, ho pernottato al Fox, dopo aver prenotato per due notti; però, ho cambiato programma all’ultimo momento ed ero consapevole di non aver diritto a rimborsi…quindi è stata una graditissima sorpresa quando, con irremovibile dolcezza, la giovane responsabile della reception ha rifiutato categoricamente che pagassimo per la nostra cancellazione (gesto ancora più significativo, considerando la profonda crisi che sta vivendo il paese). Questa è stata solo la prima delle tante attenzioni che lo staff di questo delizioso boutique hotel ci ha dedicato. Sorge in posizione panoramica appena fuori il centro di Kandy, lontano dal caos cittadino, con vista spettacolare sulle colline; la strada per raggiungerlo è un po’ impervia e tortuosa, ma con un tuk tuk è facile e divertente arrivarci ( a chi viaggia con mezzo privato, consiglierei di raggiungerlo di giorno, per orientarsi meglio); le stanze, collocate in edifici con pianoterra e primo piano, si snodano nel giardino fornito anche di un incantevole piscina a sfioro e sono spaziose, arredate con calore e hanno un bel terrazzo che consente a pieno di godere della perfetta pace del luogo. La hall è piccola, elegante e accogliente ma il vero punto di forza è il ristorante con vetrata, ubicato al secondo piano, che offre un’ampissima visione del panorama; si mangia anche molto bene, sia a cena che a colazione. Il Fox , meritava senz’altro una sosta più lunga ed è veramente consigliatissimo per chi, di passaggio a Kandy, vuole soggiornare in un tranquillo Boutique Hotel, immerso nella natura, sentendosi a casa con stile con un rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente irripetibile!

Bella ubicazione sopra Kandy, raggiungibile con una strada parecchio impervia. Stanze nella media, ristorante , per chi non mangia piccante, difficile da valutare, ma munito di riso bianco, patate e frutta Essendo in alto, è molto ventilato, quindi piacevole, anche se , oltre al ristorante, non ho visto bar e spazi comuni dove poter stare dopo mangiato.

Our family of 13 recently stayed at Fox Kandy Resort, and overall, it was a great experience. The resort is beautifully situated, offering breathtaking valley views from most rooms, making sunrise a spectacular sight. The cleanliness and upkeep of the property were commendable, adding to the comfort of our stay. One minor challenge was the approach road, which was difficult to navigate by bus at night. However, during the day, it wasn’t much of an issue. The resort's pool was a highlight for our family, providing a relaxing and enjoyable time. Breakfast was impressive, especially the Sri Lankan counter, which gave us a wonderful introduction to the local cuisine. However, we felt that dinner could be improved by offering an à la carte option alongside the buffet option. Overall, Fox Kandy Resort is a fantastic place to stay, offering a serene atmosphere, stunning views, and a well-maintained property. We had a memorable time and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kandy.

The meal we had, in an authentic Sri Lankan mud house on the Fox Hotel property, was spectacular and brimming with tradition. The typical dwelling, with cooking fireplace and treehouse for spotting elephants, clings to the side of the hill. You walk through a lush vegetable garden, where the hotel grows farm to table food for their restaurants. The staff set up a buffet for my wife and me and we ate the most delectable traditional dishes imaginable. I actually climbed up into the tree house to drink from a king coconut. This experience will stay with us forever. Thank you Fox Kandy!

Wow from start to finish. Great chalet room in a block of 4 overlooking the mountains. Small infinity pool in the grounds. Staff are delightful and the buffet evening meal was great. It’s a long steep drive to the hotel but only 350LKR for a tuk tuk to town. Beautiful.

A stunning boutique hotel with breathtaking views of the mountains! The rooms are thoughtfully designed with functional yet stylish touches—perfect shower fittings, spacious closets, and small balconies that offer serene views and a cozy spot to relax. The patio dining at the restaurant lets you enjoy incredible mountain views, making every meal extra special. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—special shoutout to Mr. Dhambekar, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable with his kindness, helpfulness, and ever-smiling presence. They accommodated all our requests, gave excellent local recommendations, and the kitchen staff prepared amazing vegetarian options for us. From the small outdoor pool with a fabulous view to the deck for high tea and relaxation, everything about our stay was perfect. The food was exceptional too! Pro Tip: The last 2-3 km to the hotel is a steep and narrow path, but there are plenty of signs to guide you. We were truly sad to leave and would highly recommend this mountain retreat!

We stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. The view from our room was breathtaking. The room was spotless and newly renovated, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay at 10 minutes from Kandy city centre.

This is one of the best hotels overall that we have been to, in Kandy. Nicely landscaped boutique hotel built on top of a peak in the Hantana Mountain Range. Getting there is a bit of a drive up hill either from Kandy or Peradeniya, but it's worth because the hotels in the Kandy city has no view as such. The Delux Rooms are made for a comfortable stay with all the amenities needed, but can only recommend for double occupancy as adding another bed to make it triple caused congession. They have one Suite Room which is of the size of two Delux Rooms for a large family. Food was delicious and given special care to our special diatary requirements when requested. Portion sizes of grilled items could be bigger compared to other restaurants. Staff is very friendly, attentive and serve you promptly when a request is made.
