Hotel stile inglese coloniale, sulle colline di Kandi, molto professionali, camere top. Servizio eccellente, Ristorante molto curato stile internazionale come cucina, influenzale locali. A 10 minuti dal centro. Consigliato!!!!!!

Albergo situato appena fuori dal trambusto del centro città in una proprietà tranquilla in collina. Struttura molto bella e moderna, suites molto spaziose e dotate tutti i comfort. Arredamento molto bello, elegante e grande attenzione a tutti i dettagli d’arredo che rendolo il soggiorno molto piacevole. Pulizia eccellente della camera e ottima manutenzione: tutto impeccabile cosa non esclusa in questi paesi. Il servizio al tavolo è eccellente, la qualità dei cibi ottimi e la presentazione impeccabile. Anche al ristorante vige un’ottima pulizia sia del locale che di tutti i suppellettili al tavolo. Per rilassarsi a fine giornata affidatevi a Renuka dello SPA: vi rimetterà in piena forma. Tutto il personale è molto gentile e professionale, dall’accoglienza alla (purtroppo) partenza.

Luxury stay nestled in the hills of Kandy. The room was excellent - the service, both at the room and dining - was impeccable. Subtler nuances - extra water in the room, cleaning of the bathroom without being asked to do so, excellent quality of the extra bed - absolutely top notch. The food was delicious. Scratching my head to dig out improvement areas - perhaps the pool ladder could be a little less 'loose', one of the blinds in the room was 'slipping' when pulled, the shaving razor/creamer were not replaced once... In all, an absolutely no brainer - go get pampered!

A very easy place to be with wonderful Sri Lankan hospitality. Our room was amazing and super comfortable with lots of space and amazing views of the trees and the monkeys were very entertaining. The food was great! The Sri Lankan curry was delicious and huge!

Fabulous place to stay. Great food, service excellent. Room was a dream, very private and surrounded by beautiful plants. Animals and birds abundant. A real. Retreat from the hustle of Kandy only minutes away. Can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so memorable.

We stayed for one night in April whilst travelling through sri lanka and wished we had booked longer! The property is in a spectacular setting with one of the best panoramic views and incredibly peaceful whilst being conveniently located close to kandy city centre. The staff were all so attentive and friendly and the turn down service was a particular highlight! We could not recommend this hotel more, felt like a home away from home 💜

We are a family of six with four kids aged 8, 10, 12 and 14 and traveled Sri Lanka for 13 days. The Kings Pavillion was our third hotel - and, unfortunately, the least excellent one during our holidays. The service was fine and friendly but not as welcoming and heartful as in other destinations. One morning, we had a really tight timing and let every one know in advance so the staff could prepare (we wanted to pre-order which we were told was not necessary). When we arrived at 7 am for breakfast as announced - no one was there and it took another 15 minutes before we could finally start breakfast. We had two junior suites; they were perfectly clean and we really liked the animal towel contructions! :-) However, there was only one small cupboard in our room with no room for hanging longer clothes, like dresses. The food was good but not exceptional - small surprise: butter and jam for breakfast were single-packed products. We did expect more in a 5 star hotel (which was confirmed by what we got in other places we stayed).

We had an amazing 3 nights here. The food was excellent, notably the Sri Lankan omelette at breakfast and the Sri Lankan curries at dinner. Service was attentive without being overwhelming. And for an early trip, they gave us the biggest packed breakfast I have ever seen, all sorted with card packaging - well done on the sustainability side! The room was immaculate, with fun touches like animals made out of towels laid out on the turned-down bed. The pool was great and the gardens were lovely - a really calming place to rest after our tours.

We spent one night at Kings Pavillion as a 2-week-tour of Sri Lanka. This is a lovely boutique hotel, a kind of oasis in the middle of Kandy. Contrary to some other hotels we stayed ar during our trip, the staff is demonstrating a strong service DNA, in a very genuine and kind way. Our experience with the restaurant was very good, the room was lovely and their garden with the pool was heaven. In short, a very nice spot for discovering Kandy and relaxing after a day of visit. We loved it.
