After we checked in and went to our room we found the door to our room was open. We figured housekeeping just didn’t close it all the way but discovered later that the door would not close and lock. Anyone could just push it open. The hotel had no other rooms for us and we were tired and hungry so we had to take all our things back to the car so we could go get dinner before everything closed. We decided not to wait for maintenance to fix it or not and found accommodation at another hotel where we felt secure. When I asked to cancel the room the desk clerk tried to dissuade me by saying the rest of the hotels in town were all very full.

First room had bad odor. 2nd room was ok but when we turned on air conditioning a bad odor came out. General need of cleaning

The hotel is old thus the tub was peeling.
The heated indor pool was very cold too cold to swim in

the hotel was in a great location, the service was great, the halls and elevator were dirty, looked like someone wiped something down the elevator door on the inside. and the floors were dirty needed to be vaccum,

Great staff, nice newly renovated rooms. Indoor pool was incredibly freezing and hot tub was boiling hot. Breakfast was okay. Overall a nice stay!

Very friendly staff - like most of Kanab - and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We love the super hot hot tub!
