Kampala: hotel con bar

Dopo aver guardato le foto, siamo venuti con grandi speranze, ma è stato un incubo dall'inizio.Abbiamo prenotato la nostra stanza due mesi prima. Al receptionist non ci è stato detto che non c'era posto, dopo che molte conversazioni con le diverse persone hanno scoperto che il manager aveva un lavoro di carta ma ha dimenticato di registrarsi nel sistema. Abbiamo assegnato le nostre camere per scoprire che l'acqua dolce non scorrerebbe, nessun flusso nel doccia, acqua fredda nel doccia in seconda camera. Insetti morti nel letto. L'odore nella camera era orribile. È un hotel di scarsa manutenzione. Sono stato deluso per questo posto.

Sono rimasto due notti a Sheraton per lavoro. Queste stanze erano spaziose e pulite. Anche se stanno iniziando a essere un po' date. Il bagno era pulito e una bella doccia di dimensioni. Le camere erano ascensori (per il mio viaggio ho imparato che questo sarebbe l'unico hotel che ho soggiornato in quel posto, che aveva ascensori, mentre altri facevano solo le scale), e il personale era amichevole e gentile, soprattutto Barnabus quando siamo arrivati. Anche io avevo comunicato con loro prima del nostro soggiorno per il trasporto all'hotel dall'aeroporto e questo è andato molto bene.

Best restaurant in Uganda. But my word! Bring your ear plugs. The hotel is located perfectly in the city and hidden away from the noise and traffic. They just happen to host 10 events on the same day that go until 11pm in the evening and they are loud. I’m saying that. The staff is sweet and accommodating and remembered us by name. The rooms were decent. However the food was superb. That lemon coriander soup was a highlight of my whole trip for me. Stunning stunning stunning. The hotel itself is well maintained and pretty. What was super special was the fact that we had to leave the hotel at 5:30 and would only be back at 6pm that evening. They made us a snack bag so that we wouldn’t get hungry during the day. That was lovely. Thank you.
