Kalipuro: hotel con bar

Siamo rimasti qui solo poche ore prima di essere raccolti a metà della notte per salire Ijen. Era buono per il prezzo - le letti erano comodi, l'aria condizionata funzionava bene e la stanza era pulita. La ricezione era mantenuta 24 ore al giorno, quindi poteva andare a mezzogiorno. Mangiavamo al ristorante al piano superiore, che era buono. Il menu non era in inglese e alcune delle opzioni occidentali erano un po' strane - il mio carbonara aveva pane di pollo e le salsicce di formaggio di pasticceria in cima per qualche motivo. Il servizio era anche un po' lento per il cibo. Tuttavia, ha saputo bene, le porzioni erano buone e era molto buono.

Good location halfway between the port/train station and the centre of Banyuwangi, however, if you arrive on the ferry like us Grab taxi drivers won't pick up from this area, we had to walk 200-300 metres from the port to meet our driver. Hotel is new, well-designed, very clean, with nice pool, gym, top floor lounge & bar. Room and bed were huge, very comfortable, with views towards Bali, and we enjoyed our two-night stay very much. Staff were charming and professional, we particularly appreciated Moza (I think that was her name, apologies if not correct) who checked us in & out, and also arranged the Ijen Crater tour for us including the medical check with a local doctor. Another young lady at reception also helped us book train tickets for our onward journey to Probolinggo using the tiket app. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of freshly cooked western and asian options, however, food at other times was average such as the salad & pizza in the photographs, and drinks in the lounge bar very expensive. We recommend taking a short taxi ride to the small restaurants on the coast near the fish market where you can get excellent fresh fish grilled for the same price as the hotel pizza, with a better atmosphere and local colour. We would definitely stay here again, an excellent hotel, great value for money including the breakfast, and we also appreciated the filtered water dispensers on every floor that removed the need for plastic bottles in the room - why don't more hotels offer such a simple way of reducing plastic? Highly recommend.

Un hotel molto buono per un fermo di transito vicino al terminal di traghetto per il passaggio Bali. L'hotel si estende su una vasta area con cottage dotate intorno al principale edificio dell'hotel. La camera dotata di una bella selezione di cibo caldo e freddo, offre una bella piscina con vista sulle strade. Non si può commentare l'esperienza della sala da pranzo, perché il matrimonio è stato fatto e il servizio è stato influenzato, ma molti altri piatti della città.
