Hotel vicini a Snowdrops Park a Kagithane

My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

It's a nice looking hotel, very clean with comfortable beds. There is daily cleaning free of charge. They have a fan and heating but not air conditioner but it was good for me because I stayed here during autumn time. No kettle inside the room but you can request hot water at the reception or use the kettle in the kitchen area at -1 floor. They have a laundry room, have to pay 20TL at the reception counter, they will give you detergent as well. The only issue with me was the thin walls, i could hear the neighbors snore loudly 😅 In terms of location, there are nice restaurants and cafes nearby. There is a small-medium sized mall nearby which is good. Bus stop is 3 minutes walking distance, but no metro station that is walking distance. Also no tourist attraction nearby annd it's quite far from taksim, but it was convenient for me to go places woth public transport. For the price it's worth it.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. C'è un hotel così romantico in questa romantica Istanbul. La sua vista è molto bella, puoi vedere direttamente il mare, il bagno è molto pulito, la stanza è ordinata e anche l'atteggiamento dei camerieri è fantastico. Mi trattano come familiari e amici. La colazione è turca. Ci sono molte varietà. Fammi assaggiare l'autentica colazione turca e attendo con ansia il mio prossimo soggiorno.

This was most certainly the worst hotel I've stayed in till date. After reading poor reviews for many Istanbul hotels close to sultanahmet, i saw some good reviews for this and decided to book. On arrival, the front office manager on the reception desk couldn't find our reservations, this took at least 10mins for him to sort, which I wasn't too pleased with, especially as we'd been travelling for around 15hours and had got off an overnight flight with no sleep with my elderly mother with me, that, and he didn't as so much apologise. Oh well, I let it go and we made our way up to the room. The deluxe room I'd booked was *tiny*, there was just enough floor space to open one suitcase, take what you need, close it and put it away to be able to move past it. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean too. I was about to hop into the shower when I pulled a towel off the rack.....brown poo stains were smeared over it. I was absolutely disgusted. I rang reception (the only number you can ring) and the front office manager said he'll send up housekeeping, yet again, not even a simple 'sorry'. I expressed how disgusted I was, I had only been in the hotel half an hour at this point! Housekeeping arrived shortly and replaced the towels. I had booked breakfast with our stay. The selection of food is very minimal. There were 2 waitresses who spent their time cleaning tables and stocking plates, guests were mainly ignored. Despite having paid for breakfast, you had to buy eggs and fresh juices. the only eggs available in the breakfast buffet were scrambled eggs and the juice was one I saw the waitress reconstituting from a powder and water. I've never stayed in a hotel where I've paid for breakfast and then been told I'd have to pay extra for certain items on the breakfast menu! Daylight robbery! I asked for an iron, which was sent up promptly. I rang down to enquire about the ironing board as there was nowhere to iron. The front office manager said ”Lady, you asked for an iron and you've got one now so what do you want!” I explained that i need a board to iron on, he said he'd see and call me back and angrily put the phone down. I didn't hear back for a few hours and needed clothes to go out in. So i had to use the bed as a make shift ironing board, not to mention the spits of hot water that burnt my hand in the process. Later in the day I rang for something else and also mentioned I didn't hear back about the ironing board- front office manager simply said he's been busy-no apology. He sent housekeeping to the room- a friendly lady who couldn't speak English and yet when i explained to her she understood and promptly brought me one. Be careful when ordering room service - the hotel don't actually make the food....they order takeout! I was told it would come in 20mins, I chased up 30mins later and was told 5mins, and then I chased up again and someone else who picked up laughed and said no it wouldn't be 5mins, it'll be another 20mins. Il miglior punto dell'hotel era la sua pulizia. È stato pulito ogni giorno.Anche il personale era molto amichevole, specialmente la catena. La nostra camera era molto piccola ma la vista era incredibile. L'ascensore era la parte peggiore, era piccolo e doveva essere sostituito da un nuovo.. le pareti erano molto sottili, così potevo sentire il vomito del mio vicino che stavano discutendo! Raccomando questo hotel per gruppi di amici e coppie.Penso che tornerò a questo hotel!

I made a reservation for Stay Inn Taksim Hostel via Agoda.com website for 3-6 February.Due to special reasons, I could not enter the hostel on February 3, and in this case, I contacted the hostel officer and informed him that he would check in on February 4.Despite this, my reservation was canceled by the hostel just because I did not log in and the hostel officer said that if I make a new reservation with a higher price, I will only be able to stay at the hostel that way. What kind of customer satisfaction is it that I can't use a service that I have paid for in advance and that a higher fee is demanded again? So I had to stay in another hotel.If you don’t want to happen this to you never choose Stay Inn Taksim Hostel and should definitely stay away! Özel sebeplerden dolayı 3 Şubatta hostele giriş yapamadım ve bu durumu hostel görevlisi ile görüşerek 4 Şubatta giriş yapacağımı ilettim ve görevli tarafından hostele giriş bilgileri tarafıma iletildi. Fakat buna rağmen 4 Şubatta hostele gittiğimde otele giriş yapmadığım için hostel tarafından rezervasyonumun iptal edildiğini, konaklama ücretinin iade edemeyeceklerini ve yeniden daha yüksek ücretle rezervasyon yapılırsa ancak o şekilde konaklayabileceğim söylendi. Ücretini peşin olarak ödediğim bir hizmetten ertesi gün geleceğimi bildirdiğim halde faydalanamayıp bir de üstüne tekrar daha yüksek ücret talep edilmesi nasıl bir müşteri memnuniyetidir? Şehir dışından geldiğim için de başka otelde konaklamak durumunda kaldım. Bir an önce konaklamadığım halde onayım alınmadan hostel tarafından tek taraflı olarak iptal edilen rezervasyon ücretinin iade edilmesini ve oluşan mağduriyetin giderilmesini istiyorum. Bir daha asla Stay Inn Taksim Hostel'i tercih etmem ve kesinlikle uzak durulmalı!

HI - I have marked this as average for a couple of reasons - the first is that when you book this hotel online they do not tell you that there are 2 wings in the hotel facing each other - the first is one is the main only with suite rooms and the other one is called the ”deluxe” wing. Also they don't tell on the website what is different between the 2 wings - we booked the hotel through Makemytrip.com website where it was mentioned that the room size was 325 sq ft and advertised as a 5 star hotel. Believing the details we booked the hotel for 7 nights - now when we check in we find the following problems : 1. The room is barely 200 sq ft in size and very small 2. The floors are stained 3. The furniture is all scratched 4. There is supposedly a balcony which is dirty and walls are stained 5. The lobby of the so called 5 star hotel was like a 2 star small lobby. So we call the Guest Relationship executive and make the complaints that this is not a 5 start hotel room - it is not even a 2 star hotel room and the area is much smaller than advertised. He agrees with us but says he is helpless - so we ask to see the manager - the manager has perfected the art of making excuses - he tells us that the room is used daily so the furniture is damaged and the area of the room is as per the original plan which was passed although the actual size is small. We made a huge fuss and asked to be relocated to the other wing - so they showed us a suite room which was nice and we asked them to move us there - they said that this would cost us 90 euros per night extra - we negotiated and settled at euro 50 per night and paid euros 350 extra for the 7 nights. This wing is fine and service is also good. I am attaching the pictures of the room in the deluxe wing - please see for your self whether this can be called as a room of a 5 tsar hotel. The hotel really needs to be pulled up for false advertising and also MakeMyTrip should be pulled up for not verifying claims of the hotels they advertise on their website.
