Hotel in zona Bangunan Sultan Ibrahim, Johor Bahru

Location is convenient. Near city square and CIQ. Hotel room is spacious with view over the causeway. Bed is very comfortable. However there is a pungent smell when you stand near the window. The shower faucet is not working well too. Overall it is still a pleasant experience staying in this hotel.

L'hotel è strategicamente situato tra Jalan Trus e Jalan Wong Ah Fook, posizione privilegiata se si desidera visitare JBCC e la piazza della città. La dimensione del bagno è buona con buoni accessori Roca, tuttavia, si potrebbe prestare più attenzione alla pressione dell'acqua e alla velocità del flusso di trappole. Le piastrelle e i mobili del bagno sono di nuovo vecchio design nonostante l'hotel è relativamente nuovo (completato in 2017/2018). La selezione del vino è tuttavia uno dei peggiori in hotel 5-star, sarebbe meglio fare senza il vino e mettere i soldi in migliori cibi/frutti. L'hotel è un hardware e ho sentito che ci sono molto di più che si può fare appartamento pulire la stanza e lavare il bagno per renderla un vero hotel 5-star. Basato sulla mia esperienza, è al meglio un hotel 4-star al prezzo 5-star.

A Fantastic Stay at Holiday Inn Johor Bahru City Centre! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn JBCC, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Location: The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Johor Bahru, right above Komtar JBCC Mall and within walking distance to City Square Mall and the immigration checkpoint to Singapore. This made it incredibly easy to explore the city and enjoy shopping, dining, and entertainment options nearby. Rooms & Comfort: The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I particularly loved the large windows with a stunning city view, which added to the overall ambiance. The in-room amenities, such as a smart TV, coffee-making facilities, and a spacious bathroom, were thoughtful touches that enhanced the stay. Service & Hospitality: The staff at Holiday Inn JBCC were outstanding—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and efficient. Special mention to the front desk and housekeeping teams for their warm hospitality and attention to detail. Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurant served a fantastic breakfast buffet with a variety of local and international options. The quality of food was excellent, and the dining area was spacious and well-lit. The rooftop bar was another highlight, offering a great place to unwind with a drink while enjoying panoramic views of Johor Bahru. Facilities & Amenities: The hotel features a well-equipped gym, a beautiful rooftop infinity pool, and comfortable lounge areas. The pool was a great place to relax, especially in the evening with the city lights in the background. The business facilities also seemed well-suited for travelers needing workspace. I’m surprised to find Fives Hotel is beyond my expectations. First time staying at Fives hotel and it has so much more to praise. Firstly, location is good as it is located opposite of Komtar shopping centre. You can cross the road from Komtar shopping centre by a traffic light. Secondly, safety is excellent as there is a security guard manning the entrance. You need access card to take the lift to access your room. There is a convenient store just right at the side of the hotel lobby. We stayed in a family room with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds. Breakfast is sufficient to fill your stomach. All in all, it is a relatively good hotel for its pricing as jt includes breakfast. Lobby smells good. I would strongly recommend all to give Five a try. I’ve stayed at most hotels near CIQ area, this is better that the hotel next to Fives. 😊

All good just that suite room is kinda small in size, but the living room is very spacious and toilet bowl has no leg space because the glass door for shower room is exactly next to the toilet bowl. maybe can make room bigger and reduce the size of living room and definitely leg space at toilet bowl area needs to be enlarged or replanned. The buffet spread was super delicious and variety of spread. Each n every one of the staff at different department was absolutely friendly, helpful and well mannered! Thumbs up to all and the excellent service provided.

Clean and spacious. The building is newly built, so everything looks so new. Comfy and convenient place to stay with restaurants/ marts/ even rnf mall nearby. Nice sea view. Units are provided with coffee/bottle waters/netflix/fridge/washing machine etc same as description. Good service from the host ! Very responsive and clear instruction for check in. Highly recommended to all.

Disappunto il giorno in cui ho prenotato questo studio e c'era un altro studio più economico, ma l'ho scelto perché pensavo che lo studio sarebbe speciale. Le foto sul loro sito web differiscono da quello che ho ricevuto. Le tovaglie sono ancora profumate e bagnate. Specialmente la chiave duo. Ho detto loro che ho bisogno di parcheggiare il giorno prima, ma penso che non abbiano davvero importanza di nessuna carta d’accesso per me quando hanno chiesto di prendere la chiave della casa nella casella postale e mi hanno fatto guidare una volta per tornare per la seconda al lobby per ottenere. Ho soggiornato molte volte in R&F, che era il mio posto preferito, ma sinceramente con un altro ospite.La mia raccomandazione con Anju è molto forte, quindi controlla attentamente prima di prenotare.

Apartment style Hotel. Big clean room to hibernate when fasting. Once breakfast, Pray go out find kueh for raya and eat at bazaar. Morning want eat breakfast before fasting no problem, order grab food or buy night before and heat up using in room microwave. Hotel is near CIQ. But the walk there with bags can be dangerous because of traffic and lobangs on ground. So no choice, grab lo. But if you budget, can walk slowly there in hot sun or now in heavy rain. I whack the ramdhan buffet. The range is not bad, but they don't top up. By 730pm, many dishes especially the sotong, prawn, crab all gone. Teh tarek also never top up. All the best staying here.

The place was super nice, comfortable & clean. Definitely worth my money! :) We had a pleasant time & stay - not to mention the view from the balcony, so mesmerising. Though, the check-in process was a bit confusing, since the lobby was under construction - had to roam around the basement parking to find security guards for assistance. Overall, everything was great! Recommended! Surely, will be staying here again :)
