From the check in to the day we left, it was one thing after the other. 1. The team that was checking us in was not consistent, the one half was not willing to go the extra mile to solve our request (being moved from a 2 single bed, room to a double bed, room) and the other half made promises that they could not keep (said that we would be moved the following day, without checking for availability first). 2. My colleague asked for the iron numerous times over the period of our stay, and it NEVER came, she had to go get it herself. 3. We ordered room service, and the food came after an hour plus, AFTER i made an enquiry about my order, which was when they were only assembling it. I do get that it might take time however communication on ETA is important. 4. When the food eventually came, there was no cutlery and no condiments. I could write more, but you get the picture.

Excellent service with warm and friendly heart, reminder of Jo'burg Yeoville days. Wonderful breakfast with local variety. Spacious and comfortable rooms make you forget you are in the heart of Jozi....tranquil and peaceful. Worthwhile!

Sono rimasto a Melville Turret per 9 giorni, da solo, diviso tra lavoro e vacanza. Tutto è andato molto bene, e io consiglio molto questa Guesthouse con il suo accogliente, amichevole, caldo e sorridente personale, sempre disponibile per soddisfare qualsiasi necessità. Inizialmente avevo prenotato una stanza per solo 5 giorni, non ho avuto alcun problema di estendere questo soggiorno direttamente sul sito. Le camere sono pulite e ben progettate, come le aree collettive. È molto bel cortile interno. La colazione è generosamente preparata da Prisca, incredibilmente gentile e con cui è molto facile scambiare e condividere (mi manca il tuo sorriso :) ). La strada e il quartiere sono tranquilli e sicuri, siamo vicini (10 minuti a piedi) alle attività / bar / ristoranti il 7°. Non avrei potuto chiedere una migliore esperienza di Johannesburg. Grazie ancora molto al personale e ai proprietari! Come promesso, spero di rivederti presto ... Saluti dalla Francia, Morgan
