Abbiamo soggiornato qui per un totale di 4 niti, a partire da marzo, due niti che avevamo prenotato per un po' di riposo prima di unirsi a un tour di gruppo di Sud Africa e Victoria Falls. Quando siamo tornati all'hotel, la nostra stanza era pronta, e un portatore ha portato i bagagli subito, la stanza era di grande dimensione, il letto di grandezza re era comodo, il bagno aveva doccia e bagno separati, ed era ben decorato. Siamo stati completamente esauriti dopo quasi 24 ore di viaggio e dormiamo rapidamente in pochi minuti. Dopo aver svegliato, abbiamo avuto una bella cena al ristorante San dell’hotel. La colazione del mattino (compreso) era sorprendente - c'era un buffet freddo e si potrebbe ordinare un piatto a la carte dal menu - non c'è fame qui. Francamente, l'unica cosa che ho potuto denunciare è quanto l'acqua nella piscina era fredda. Oltre a un facile accesso al centro commerciale di Santon, si può anche camminare sulla piazza Nelson Mandela che fluisce nel centro commerciale di Sandton, che aveva una selezione di ristoranti - abbiamo finito per mangiare due pranzi molto belli. Questo sarebbe certamente il nostro hotel di scelta, se ritorniamo a Johannesburg.

I stayed at the Da Vinci on several occasions over a few years (last stay in 2019). I kept choosing this hotel systematically each time I come to Johannesburg, without even looking at other available hotels, whether I came on family vacation or for business, because of the consistently great experience (room and services), which is what I did this time too. However I was very disappointed with the service, which was incomparable from what I had experienced all the previous times: - The reaction when my key card just got deactivated and had to be reactivated; - On the 2nd day and morning that we left, there was no shower gel for us to use - probably removed but not replaced. - The breakfast was quite appalling: The choice and quality of food is nothing like what it was up until 2019. I stayed one night in a basic holiday inn in SA and the choice and quality of the breakfast buffet was 10 times what you now offer. We had to wait for a table. The service is very slow for something as basic as hot chocolate, and even longer for eggs. - On the last day we needed to leave the hotel at 7.00 to take our flight. We were told breakfast started at 6.30 but actually at 6.30 the buffet was still being set up, the ”hot” dishes were entirely cold with no heat under the hot plates which were lit up close to 7.00, no juice until we left, we could not choose a table because they were still mopping the floor and asked us not to go in that area... All this was quite disappointing. For me, the Da Vinci was THE hotel to go to in Johannesburg and I have recommended it to many friends and colleagues. But not anymore. The only sign of the level of service I knew the Da Vinci hotel for was the concierge staff on the ground floor when we left. But other than that it was a disappointment.

Very disappointed after our stay at The DaVinci Hotel. I was thoroughly looking forward to this stay as I have not stayed in this hotel before and it had been on my list, check in took quite long, which didn't bother me initially but ended up being a compounding factor after everything else, we had booked online and it took close to an hour for us to get checked in and given our room key, we used this time to look around. When we finally got to our room, we quickly left everything and went to the mall then had dinner, we got back relatively late and only upon getting back did we notice the bed was 2 single beds pushed together, however we booked and paid for a delux king room, needless to say I spent the duration of the evening falling through the 2 beds as I was trying to cuddle my lady, so I didn't get much sleep to say the least. When we got up in the morning I quite badly needed a coffee to wake me up after the night I had and Lo and behold, the coffee machine was not working! By this point you can imagine the frustration.. so we got dressed and went down for breakfast, the process of simply getting a coffee took close to 40 minutes, let alone the food arriving! We actually ended up getting up and leaving because we had plans for the day and did not expect to wait over an hour for our breakfast to arrive! The cold food that was available at the buffet was very dry as well but we scoffed it down and went on our way, it was only while we were walking out that the juice we ordered when we arrived was beginning to make its way to our table, so we were given the bottle and we went on our way We mentioned the incorrect room as well as the coffee machine to the lady at the checkout desk, to which I was reassured that next time we stay it will be nice I can very confidently confirm that there will not be a next time from us, as we do expect a certain service when checking into a 5 star hotel and paying the price that comes along with it On a positive note, the concierge was helpful with taking our luggage to the room Such a pity for a lovely perfectly located place to put such little effort into the quality they provide

Johannesburg non è così sicuro come Capo Town, quindi dovete mettervi in sicurezza quando viaggiate lì. Sandton è un'area migliore e c'è un grande centro commerciale vicino a questo hotel e si può trovare tutto lì, tra cui un supermercato, negozi, e molti ristoranti se non vuoi mangiare nel ristorante dell'hotel. Anche in base al piano terra hanno parcheggio con la porta metallica per un ulteriore R55 per notte che ho trovato ragionevole. In generale, il personale è utile e bello, grande posizione, grande cibo anche nel ristorante dell'hotel. Resterò certamente lì se mi rendo a Johannesburg.

Questo hotel è molto bello e di business stile a Sandton, un'area di mercato di Johannesburg. È rimasto solo una notte, ma soprattutto un'esperienza positiva. Camere pulite, tutte le strutture che avreste aspettato e facile da raggiungere al centro commerciale locale e alla Piazza Nelson Mandela sul bus gratuito. Avreste dato un 5 ma il processo di check-in era caotico. Il numero di posti vacanze è stato di circa 9 persone, che hanno fatto una prenotazione un anno fa e sembravano essere in grado di assegnare le nostre camere. Anche il doccia è una finestra per il resto della stanza, così i vostri coinquilini possono vedere che il doccia è stato interessante e ridicolo che questo è stato assegnato ai nostri due galline di età 20 e 17 anni. Non c'è sorriso o amicizia da parte del personale di ricezione che lo ordini e ci ha voluto molto tempo per controllare.

Non mi piace fare un esame negativo: il personale è molto amichevole e utile come Belinda, ma purtroppo la casa di mantello ha bisogno di seri riparazioni. Il personale si è avvicinato alla nostra figlia alle 9:00, quindi non erano pronti per qualcuno a usare la stanza. Siate così come potete. Le bagni devono essere sgombrate. I tetti strani dovrebbero essere chiusi. I tappeti sono stati sostituiti. La matita nella nostra seconda stanza deve essere sostituita. I giardini devono riparare. L'esterno deve essere fissato e dipinto. I ponti devono essere sostituiti. Non ci siamo fermati per colazione, perché ci stavamo fretta. E' una vergogna come la casa di mantello è in una zona classica. E ancora una volta il personale sta cercando di meglio in una casa molto vecchia. Spero davvero che ricevano gli aggiornamenti che hanno bisogno per ripristinare la casa di mantello alla sua ex gloria.

Hotel's area is really secure. Room is big and clean. Overall design is modern and nice. We had a little kitchen in the room with fridge, oven and stove. But we weren't able to find any pots or pans. Hotel has a lot of facilities in-house, so you don't have to go outside. 8/10

Abbiamo il penthouse di lusso. Buono concetto, ma non come previsto. In mancanza di molte strutture di base. Nessun adattatore per caricatori. A richiesta, hanno fornito solo 1 per tutti e 3 di noi per usare (molto conveniente) condizionatore d'aria solo in camera superiore e non funziona. Appartamento in manutenzione. Molto vecchio. La stanza di sopra aveva un terribile illuminamento, tanto bene quanto niente. Molto bianca stupida. Li chiesemmo di aggiungere una candela, ma non erano stati ignorati. 2 lampade sul letto, tuttavia 1 era solo per la visualizzazione (non affollata e nessun socket per affollarlo) L'altra lampada aveva un bollitore bianco stupido. Ancora una volta, basso. Nessun asciugacapelli. Ma fornita solo su richiesta. È bello che la potenza di ritorno sia disponibile durante la scarica del carico. Non ci sono scala fornita, anche su richiesta. Devi portare il bagaglio tutto il viaggio verso l'addestramento e pesare lì. Si rifiutano di portare la scala a noi. Molto scomodo. Concierge e sicurezza in punto con personale amichevole.In generale, è stato un buon soggiorno, ma difficoltà a causa di piccole questioni.

Cottage con giardino in ottima posizione. Facile accesso e uscita. Molto vicino al centro commerciale Benmore e alla città di Sandton. Strutture molto sicure e anche ottime. Lo consiglierei sicuramente a chiunque stia cercando di godersi il soggiorno a jhb/sandton sia per affari che per vacanza.
