UUtente ospiteIt was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.
We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel.
For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.
With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.
It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.
Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on. I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.
Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.
The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.
When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.
We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).
As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

MM53736****Esperienza al 100%! Il B&B si trova nella zona panoramica di Dongzha. La stanza è affacciata sull'acqua. Quando apri la porta e la finestra, puoi vedere il fiume fuori. Lo scenario è bellissimo! La camera era molto pulita e gli articoli da bagno erano tutti di marca. Il capo era molto entusiasta. MMelody Cowe took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids.
We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

MMUMU-LEEL'hotel stesso:
1. Non appena sono entrato nella camera d'albergo, ho scoperto che il pavimento era molto appiccicoso.

5. Quando sono tornato la sera, ho dimenticato di mettere i bagagli in camera.
6. L'isolamento acustico della camera d'albergo non è buono. Di notte si sente il rumore del corridoio, dei calpestii e delle corse al piano di sopra.
7. La porta antipioggia della stanza in cui mi sono trasferito non poteva essere chiusa.
8. (4716) Si sente un suono finché c'è un po' d'acqua che scorre nella toilette. Dovrebbe esserci qualcosa di sbagliato nella posizione in cui cade l'acqua. Puoi provare a versare un bicchiere d'acqua e si verificherà un immediatamente il suono degli spruzzi.
L'executive lounge dell'hotel è buono e la fascia oraria è molto migliore di Andaz.
Il flusso della colazione non era molto buono. Molte persone erano affollate e agli ospiti veniva chiesto di trovare il proprio posto, il che ha portato alcune persone a litigare per i posti.
La posizione dell'hotel è a 15 minuti dalla metropolitana leggera e le attività commerciali vicine sembrano sottosviluppate.
Il servizio in generale è ok, ma ci sono molte aree in cui la camera non è all'altezza degli standard, probabilmente a livello di 4 stelle.
Le domande sono tutte nel video, quindi ricordati di attivare l'audio.

SSakeYanI servizi della camera sono ben tenuti, la biancheria da letto è molto comoda e gli articoli da toeletta sono venduti in piccole bottiglie separate, il che è molto positivo.

BBen Ng26If you're looking for a clean, affordable place to stay near Wuzhen but don’t want to pay the premium of staying inside the scenic area, this guesthouse is a fantastic option.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the price is very reasonable — especially compared to the hotels inside the old town. What makes this place special is the local touch: the family that runs it is incredibly friendly, and they also run a small dining area where the food is home-cooked by locals. Meals are served in generous portions and full of flavor — great if you want to try authentic home-style Chinese food.
During check-out, we even received a small farewell gift, which was a really sweet surprise. The owner also helped us book a car to our next city at a better price than what we found on the usual apps.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this place for budget-conscious travelers, especially foreigners who are looking for something local, warm, and real. You don’t have to stay inside Wuzhen’s tourist area to enjoy your visit — this guesthouse gives you everything you need, with a touch of true hospitality.

Il personale mi ha salutato con sorrisi così genuini che potevano illuminare tutta la stanza, rendendo il processo di check-in meno come un coro e più come una casa calda di benvenuto. La mia stanza era un giardino di conforto moderno, un santuario intelligente, dove le luci rispondevano alla mia voce e le tende aperte come se fosse magia. Era il campo di base perfetto per la mia esplorazione urbana, un'ombra di alta tecnologia dopo un giorno di passeggiata attraverso le vibranti strade urbane.
L’hotel era un sogno di avventura, mi trovavo a pochi passi da un fiume che si scontrava, perfetto per una passeggiata serale per vedere le luci della città scorrere sull’acqua. Ci sono stati un brindisi, grazie ad un fermo vicino che mi ha collegato a tutte le grandi visizioni. Mi piaceva potermi facilmente imbucare e immergermi nella cultura locale, sia trovare un te' nascosto che sbattermi su un mercato stradale vivo. Il Huan si sentiva nel cuore dell'azione, ma offre ancora un ritiro pacifico dall'energia vitale della città.
Alla fine, il mio tempo all'Hotel Huan He non era solo un posto per dormire, era una parte chiave della mia storia di viaggio. La miscela senza saldatura di tecnologia e autentica ospitità ha reso ogni momento senza sforzo e divertente. È il tipo di posto che capisce cosa un viaggiatore ha bisogno di un letto confortevole, un volto amichevole, e un posto grande per lanciare la sua prossima avventura. Mi sono lasciato sentire rilassato e pronto per il mio prossimo viaggio, con meravigliosi ricordi di un hotel che era tanto un partner nel mio viaggio quanto un luogo di soggiorno.
