UUtente ospiteIt was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.
We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel.
For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.
With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.
It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.
Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on. I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.
Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.
The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.
When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.
We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).
As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

MM53736****Esperienza al 100%! Il B&B si trova nella zona panoramica di Dongzha. La stanza è affacciata sull'acqua. Quando apri la porta e la finestra, puoi vedere il fiume fuori. Lo scenario è bellissimo! La camera era molto pulita e gli articoli da bagno erano tutti di marca. Il capo era molto entusiasta. Ha ritirato i nostri bagagli al nostro arrivo e ci ha mandato alla stazione quando siamo partiti. È stata una recensione fantastica! Deve dare un elogio serio!

EEUC riderCamere fantastiche. Molto grandi e ben progettati. Ristoranti non fanno bene per i vegani, ma altrimenti va bene. Il servizio nel bar Paulaner era lento con solo un server la sera che abbiamo provato. Non è economico, ma è molto buono per quello che si ottiene. Sono rimasto due volte e sarei sicuramente rimasto. Raccomandato se volete stare vicino alla stazione ferroviaria.

KKazzy travelerInspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath.
There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty).
Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb.
The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet.
Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.)
Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.)
There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

MMUMU-LEEL'hotel stesso:
1. Non appena sono entrato nella camera d'albergo, ho scoperto che il pavimento era molto appiccicoso.

5. Quando sono tornato la sera, ho dimenticato di mettere i bagagli in camera.
6. L'isolamento acustico della camera d'albergo non è buono. Di notte si sente il rumore del corridoio, dei calpestii e delle corse al piano di sopra.
7. La porta antipioggia della stanza in cui mi sono trasferito non poteva essere chiusa.
8. (4716) Si sente un suono finché c'è un po' d'acqua che scorre nella toilette. Dovrebbe esserci qualcosa di sbagliato nella posizione in cui cade l'acqua. Puoi provare a versare un bicchiere d'acqua e si verificherà un immediatamente il suono degli spruzzi.
L'executive lounge dell'hotel è buono e la fascia oraria è molto migliore di Andaz.
Il flusso della colazione non era molto buono. Molte persone erano affollate e agli ospiti veniva chiesto di trovare il proprio posto, il che ha portato alcune persone a litigare per i posti.
La posizione dell'hotel è a 15 minuti dalla metropolitana leggera e le attività commerciali vicine sembrano sottosviluppate.
Il servizio in generale è ok, ma ci sono molte aree in cui la camera non è all'altezza degli standard, probabilmente a livello di 4 stelle.

SSmellycatThe room was a decent size with a beautiful canal view just outside the ground floor window – perfect for soaking in the atmosphere. However, it can get a bit noisy when boats pass by.
The bed was on the firmer side, which may not suit everyone, and there was an occasional whiff of cigarette smoke from the neighboring room.
One downside of staying within a tourist attraction area is that food delivery services aren’t available to the hotel, so plan accordingly.
Overall, a pleasant and unique stay if you’re looking to immerse yourself in the Wuzhen experience.

MMelody Cowe took a bus from shanghai pudong airport to jiaxing north station then just took a taxi via didi in alipay to get here. the homestay location was great since they were just beside the No. 2 Gate. For foreigners, we needed to get tickets and show our passports to the visitor center just around 100 meters away from the gate and hotel. from before our arrival all the way to check in, i was in touch with them already via wechat and the response was always very quick and helpful. we liked that the inn also had a free shuttle service on call for us and took us back and forth to dongzha (and old street beside it), as well as the bus station to get to suzhou. The uncle was also very helpful and friendly, ever ready to help us with our luggage all the way to the 3rd floor and to give us his recommendations on timings, directions and such. The younger family member in the front desk was also very helpful! They told us not to engage with the many people offering day trips outside just to be safe. They also lent us umbrellas for the rain and sun, and even band-aids.
We would gladly stay at this B&B again but request a lower floor like the 2nd just because we usually go back mid-day and tend to forget stuff so the flights of stairs is something to consider if you're not up to the exercise. The room and toilet were very clean and good value for money! They were also very considerate as to putting all scents away upon my request. Just beside the B&B were small groceries, eateries and stores so we walked around also at night. For wuzhen, we did xizha only first next to the hotel from 4pm onwards for one day then dongzha ,old street (morning to afternoon) and xizha at night again the next day to save on the ticket costs.

UUtente ospiteÈ fantastico soggiornare in un hotel così meraviglioso. La stanza è pulita e accogliente. Ad ogni modo, l'addetta alla reception nell'area clienti del servizio vicino alla biglietteria e la ragazza responsabile del nostro check-in dovrebbero essere più professionali almeno sorridendoci quando abbiamo bisogno di aiuto. Erano così fastidiosi. Solo una cosa che ha reso il nostro viaggio meno interessante. Altre cose erano perfette.

CCatWild86Il mio soggiorno all'Hotel Huan He non era altro che una piacevole sorpresa.Dal momento che sono entrato nel lobby, sapevo che ero in un trattamento. Il personale mi ha salutato con sorrisi così genuini che potevano illuminare tutta la stanza, rendendo il processo di check-in meno come un coro e più come una casa calda di benvenuto. La mia stanza era un giardino di conforto moderno, un santuario intelligente, dove le luci rispondevano alla mia voce e le tende aperte come se fosse magia. Era il campo di base perfetto per la mia esplorazione urbana, un'ombra di alta tecnologia dopo un giorno di passeggiata attraverso le vibranti strade urbane.
L’hotel era un sogno di avventura, mi trovavo a pochi passi da un fiume che si scontrava, perfetto per una passeggiata serale per vedere le luci della città scorrere sull’acqua. Ci sono stati un brindisi, grazie ad un fermo vicino che mi ha collegato a tutte le grandi visizioni. Mi piaceva potermi facilmente imbucare e immergermi nella cultura locale, sia trovare un te' nascosto che sbattermi su un mercato stradale vivo. Il Huan si sentiva nel cuore dell'azione, ma offre ancora un ritiro pacifico dall'energia vitale della città.
Alla fine, il mio tempo all'Hotel Huan He non era solo un posto per dormire, era una parte chiave della mia storia di viaggio. La miscela senza saldatura di tecnologia e autentica ospitità ha reso ogni momento senza sforzo e divertente. È il tipo di posto che capisce cosa un viaggiatore ha bisogno di un letto confortevole, un volto amichevole, e un posto grande per lanciare la sua prossima avventura. Mi sono lasciato sentire rilassato e pronto per il mio prossimo viaggio, con meravigliosi ricordi di un hotel che era tanto un partner nel mio viaggio quanto un luogo di soggiorno.
