Hotel in zona Rurkee, Jalandhar

We arrived in Jalandhar after a long train journey from Rajasthan, so needed an oasis of calm! The Taximan took us to the first hotel, which turned out to be AB Clark’s Inn! I asked to check their executive and deluxe rooms. The lady at the checkin desk was hugely polite and arranged views of the rooms. Absolutely immaculate rooms! Huge size—the executive rooms are very slightly smaller than the deluxe but are still very spacious with granite tiles, so no problem keeping them clean. The deluxe rooms are huge! Both size rooms have excellent furniture with 2 couches for guests or yourself to use, a comfortable chair and desk to read, write or work in your laptop if you wish. The most important thing for me are bathrooms…the ones at AB Clarks Inn are immaculate. Huge sizes, walk-in showers with glass panels all around, superbly powerful power showers, endless supply of hot water! Food is excellent too, with their in-house restaurant serving Continental or traditional Punjabi style with made to order stuffed parathas that were delicious; lunch and dinner was also very tasty with choice of Indian, Chinese and Italian dishes! Nice touches like very courteous Staff, from the cleaners, page guys and receptionists, always smiling and asking if I needed anything. The only points I could find against this very positive review is the decor of the common areas in the hotel…in some places, the wallpaper has started to peel..an easy fix. Plus they should supply seating on the balcony area, as we would have loved to take our tea or take in the sunshine and fresh air if seats were available. Apart from that, do not pass this hotel by…it’s worth every penny! Pls leave a positive message after you have read this and do look at more reviews I’ve added! Thank u for ur time!

My self Kumar I was staying in your hotel it was good experience . Rooms was good and ur food also tasty . Mostly important is hotel staff is very helpful . They given me good service . Housekeeping staff given me neet and clean service room was maintained very nice. And front office staff is great 👍 and very helpful. Room service staff also good they are given me good service in restaurant and Room also . Entertainer hotel staff is very cooperative . I wass recommend to my relatives also come and stay in ur hotel . Thanks you so much Maya hotel team.

Terrible experience would be how I would describe our two week stay. We have been regular customers at your Jalandhar hotel since 2005. This year was our worst experience and has made us rethink about our next vacation at your hotel. We booked four rooms as our children and family accompanied us on our most recent visit. Three of the rooms were perfectly suitable except for the stale smell in the rooms. We forwarded numerous complaints about issues with our room 310. In the entrance of the room there was continuous dripping of water from the ceiling resulting in the light also not functioning. It was repeatedly resolved for a few hours then the same problem would occur. On one occasion I slipped twisting my knee leaving me uncomfortable for the rest of his duration. I even attended the massage parlour to try and resolve the pain. As we regularly visit Jalandhar on business, we decided to take the opportunity of using the meeting room. On both occasions we booked via reception and at no point did your staff or management explain that after ½ hour we would be charged, we told it was complimentary. On checkout, you can imagine our reaction to be informed that there was a 6000 rupee charge. We explained to your staff that we had not been informed and your front desk manager accused us of using the meeting room every day without any evidence. He also stated that the charges were clearly displayed in the meeting room. We asked your manger to show us where the charges were displayed and on then visiting the meeting room was not able to identify the notice as they did not exist

We were traveling from US and vising family in Jalandhar. We thought Ramada brand was somewhat known although we never stared there in the US. Given the limited options besides the local hotels, we booked a non-smoking room. When we checked into the room, it was full of smoke stink. The staff was kind to change the room when we shared the feedback but it took them a while to get us the new room. After a long journey, we were just sitting and waiting for our room to be ready and after 25 minutes, we were moved. As we were unwinding into this new room, we saw a person walk by our balcony and we were all like, what? Turned out there was construction going on next door, and there was a big hole in the wall. The access point for workers were through our balcony. Instead of complaining again and waiting for another 30 minutes for a different room, we decided to manage our expectations. It would have been nice if we knew about this ahead of time. We had to close the curtains through our stay, felt like we were somewhere in the basement with no natural light. The furnishing were as if someone armature assembled it. There was no way to know how the doors to the cabinets were to open, no knobs or area to hold the door to open, or which side the door will open. Although it was marked as a suite, the finish was of a low level motel. They only had to shower towels for a party of 3, no iron in the room and so on. After we checked out, we were well on our way by the time I realized that I forgot my Airpods pro in the room. I called the hotel and they told me they will look for it can call me back in a few hours. I told them I can see the Airpods on my iPhone (find my device) to be at the hotel. After waiting for about 3 hours, I called back and was told they did not find it and accused me of leaving it somewhere else, not in the hotel. I can still see the Airpods pro in the hotel through find my device as of this writing – one week after we checked out and back in US now. Meeting family in Jalandhar was the only high of our trip there, everything else was a disaster. Never ever would I stay in this Hotel in the future or recommend anyone to try it out.

Stavo qui per una notte sulla strada per Amritsar. Hanno un ampio parcheggio nel seminterrato. Il personale della reception era gentile. Le camere erano belle e pulite. Il bagno era pulito con buono approvvigionamento d'acqua calda. Purtroppo la connessione WiFi in camera era quasi trascurabile. Il colazione non aveva un buffet. Quindi abbiamo dovuto ordinare tra le scelte. Il cibo era comunque decente. Sicuramente consiglierà il posto per le famiglie e gli amici.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Days Hotel. Staff are super helpful. A variety of food from the buffet style breakfast. Staff will make lovely masala chai and bring it to your table. A special thank you to Anand and Love Preet. These two were so kind and helpful and could not do enough for me and my family. They served with a smile and made sure we were okay. The hotel has a beautiful roof top revolving restaurant where prices are similar to room service .
