All'arrivo il desk front said that parking in the basement was a possibility, but after check-in that was not and option no longer 🙄 We got a ordinary room at level 8, which we appreciated..... nella piscina superiore 👍 Ma le prime due ore la piscina è stata chiusa a causa dei preparativi di matrimonio al bar superiore del tetto....che è stata chiusa anche per il giorno 🙄 Questo giorno particolare è stato 40 gradi Celsius !!! Dopo aver cenato, siamo tornati all'hotel a 11.30 PM, solo per scoprire che la festa di matrimonio era al suo massimo....e la nostra stanza è proprio sotto. Nessuno alla reception poteva (o avrebbe preferito) dirci quando la festa sarebbe finita, così tardi notte o presto mattina siamo stati aggiornati su diversi grafici locali di danza e il nome del DJ era 😒 Quando la festa è finita, Il personale di servizio ha fatto pulire.... movimentando le compresse e le sedie alle loro posizioni originali al bar superiore del tetto.... e apparentemente nessuno al personale aveva i muscoli per sollevare qualcosa..... mai abbiamo avuto così tanta rumore in un hotel. Qualsiasi raccomandazione....NO !!!

Booked this hotel as a base to visit Baeza/Ubeda/Jaen and it was perfect for what we wanted. Clean, modern hotel close to the motorways (which you don't hear) to the 3 cities mentioned before. But also only a bit more than an hour to Granada and Cordoba. Massive free parking lot available. Probably because this hotel seems very popular to host wedding parties. And unlike the motorway. These can be heard from your room even with the sliding door closed. As it was April and the weather not that great it didn't bother me though. 2 big positives were the mattresses and pillows. Where normally in Spain I utterly hate the pillows. These were marvelous. The memoryfoam provides good support while one of the others provides height. Combined with lovely mattresses gave me the best sleep in ages. Better than my own bed. The breakfast is a good buffet style, in (again) a modern designed room. However the accoustics are not that great. So if I had to come up with a downside it would be the echo chamber that is the breakfast room. If I'd ever return to visit Jaen I would without a doubt come back here

Poor service throughout! Most disappointing. We requested a double bed, the room had 2 singles. We asked for them to be put together, impossible! We asked for tea/ coffee facilities in the room , impossible. We asked to have our light lunch on the patio, impossible. The swimming pool area has zero service, no tea, coffee, drinks etc. The pool area is poorly maintained. You have to ask for a code at reception to use the ground floor toilet. These people have zero concept of ”service”

Wow! Walking into this hotel was like going into something from Hollywood in the 30s or 40s – sheer glamour! The entrance and public areas were just amazing, so beautiful, the domed ceiling made of stained glass was impressive, and the glass elevator a delight! The rooms were all of corridors on each floor that ran round the atrium, beautiful “window boxes” of greenery decorating them all, and you looked down on to a most attractive marble-patterned floor or up to the magnificent glass dome. We had a superior room, well worth the extra money. It was spacious, and, well, I think that magnificent is the word here too! Or perhaps splendid. A seating area with a sofa and an armchair, separated by a swathe of curtains from the sleeping area with a large comfortable bed, then a bay window area with another armchair, with a view across rooftops and a lot of greenery to hills planted with olive trees. Delightful! The bathroom was modern, with a spa bath. This was perhaps the only thing less than perfect, as there was no shower stall, you had to use the bath-tub, which was not good for standing without slipping. We solved this by putting a handtowel into the tub to stand on. Overall an excellent stay in a magnificent hotel.
