A wonderful oasis of peace in the middle of the forest by the lake. We felt completely comfortable, enjoyed the view and warmed up in front of the fireplace. Holidays couldn't be nicer.

60 km northwest from Kuusamo, 15 km south from Posio centre, Lake Livojärvi 35 m (length of the lake is 20 km and width 2,5 km), very shallow sandy beach, very well suited for children, the swimming depth is tens of meters from the beach, own rowing boat.
Log cottage, built in 2013. Living room, kitchen (no door), bed room with a double bed, second bedroom with two single beds, living room with sofa bed, sauna, washroom, separate toilet and covered terrace.
Hot tube at extra fee, 200e/week, available during 1.6. - 31.8. If You want to use the hot tube, please agree about it with the owner well in advance. Water to the hot tube is taken from the lake by motor pump.
In summer time a small barrel sauna also available; small dressing room and sauna room with wood-heated sauna stove with water tank. Water to barrel sauna has to be fetched from the lake Cottage is equipped with an air source heat pump with cooling function, fast-heating convection fireplace, X-Box 360 -game console and 2 televisions. Geothermal heating ensures smooth and pleasant heat all year round.
Livontähti is a cozy furnished villa with peaceful and scenic location by a big lake. There is a wide sandy bay on the shore, campfire site and hot smoking oven. No sight line to neighbor cottage.
Ski centre Kiri (Kirintövaara) 20 km, Pentik 16 km, Ranua Wildlife Park 89 km, Korouoma canyon 35 km, Riisitunturi National Park 52 km, Kuusamo (e.g. spa Kuusamon Tropiikki) 61 km, Ruka 72 km.
Lake Livojärvi is famous about its white sandy beaches. There are vendace, whitefish, trout and grayling in the lake. In winter time snowmobile route from Lake Livojärvi to Posio and Iso-Syöte. Hiking paths (16 km) and lean-to shelters in Hirsiniemi hiking area.
Reindeer Farm White Deer´s Kingdom (Valkean Peuran valtakunta) 3,5 km; traditional Finnish food and reindeer safaris available for advance booking.
Fishing areas: 2595 Livojärvi and 2599 Livojoki (www.eraluvat.fi/en/fishing.html).
