What an amazing week in a magical part of the Maldivian paradise. It had been a dream of ours to visit the Maldives and our stay at Six Senses exceeded all expectations - this is largely due to the exceptional care we received from our GEM Tanny. From our initial arrival to recent departure Tanny ensured our days and nights were filled with memorable activities and exceptional service from all the staff. Warm, kind and hugely knowledgeable, it was fascinating to talk to Tanny each day - thank you. There is so much to say about this holiday… the sea plane transfer from Male to Laamu was spectacular; Six Senses resort and water villas stunningly beautiful; incredible sea life on the house reef and sea grass meadows, exceptional restaurants and a jam packed programme of activities, on water and land - whatever the weather. We particularly enjoyed the yoga and spa workshops; Teppenyaki dining expereience, in addition to the Maldivian cookery class and chocolate workshops with resort Head Chefs. But what really distinguishes Six Senses is it’s commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment. The new Shell centre with its team of marine biologists and laboratories is absolutely fascinating- we really enjoyed the talks and exploring reefs with such passionate and dedicated staff. Learning how the restaurants are growing many of the ingredients used in our delicious meals - even grinding spices for curries and cocoa beans to make delicious chocolates- it’s seriously impressive… We also must mention the fact that the resort philosophy is to walk bare foot - which is only made possible by the team of ladies who sweep away leaves and foliage every morning (I noticed you on my many morning runs) and the gentlemen who regularly smooth over the paths with fresh sand… THANKYOU! So we leave for home totally rejuvenated. We didn’t manage to do everything in one week so I guess we may have to return again…

Konumu ve otel harika. Biraz nem dolayısıyla odada tadilata ihtiyaç olsa da otele bayıldım. Kese, tarak, diş fırçasına kadar her şey vardı. Oda çok küçük, bir küçük pencere vardı ama ben en ucuz odayı almıştım. Tek kötü yanı oda aşırı sıcaktı ve klimanın soğutucu tarafı bir hafta önce kapatılmış. kahvaltısı çok çeşitli değil ama temiz ve güzeldi. Akşam yemeği menüsü çok çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Vize görüşmesi için gitmiştim ve en yakın otel buydu. Bana uğurlu geldi ve vizemi aldım . Müşteriyi karşılamaları gayet içten ve güler yüzlüydüler. Kaldığım oda 1+1 suit deniz gören odaydı ve temizLiği olsun konforu olsun oldukça başarılıydı. Otele giriş saatinden bayağı bir süre sonra girmeme rağmen odanın kombisi yanıyordu ve çok üşüyen biri olarak bu beni çok memnun etti. Oda servisi güleryüzlü ve kibar. Akşam yemeğinden sonra girişyaptığım için çok açtım ve odaya restorantlarından yemek söyledim. İnanılmaz lezzetli ve büyük porsiyonlar. Fiyatları da gayet uygun . Tekrar teşekkür ederim çalışanlarına 🙏

È una struttura di appartamentini stile bungalow, semplici e moderni. Ogni appartamento ha una cucina con un fornello elettrico e un bollitore, una o due camere, e un bagno. Lo spazio esterno privato ha un divano e alcune poltroncine per stare piacevolmente fuori. Dista 400m dal porto turistico di Tarabya e circa 1300m dal capolinea della metrò M2 di Haciosman, da cui si raggiunge piazza Taksim in 25 minuti e meno di un euro di spesa.

This is my Second time staying at this property, to be fair it is nicely located at Maslak and overlooking the Forest. Several times the Room were not cleaned and once or twice the room was not fully cleaned as the bathroom was left not cleaned and no towels. I am still staying their at rooms 205 and 501. The cleaning improved. Another ongoing challenge is in Room 205 we were promised the last 5 days to move higher floor with Balcony and every day a new story is told for the last 6 days!!!! Very bad experience and first in my life people are hinging me the runaround. My girls kept their bags packed as we are told to keep them ready for move. Everyday new story comes up, the new room is not ready, the TV is broken we can’t move you, the room is not cleaned and housekeeping is busy, the room is in noisy floor and we like you too so much to move you, the room last guest broke Too many changing stories as they should not ask us to pack our bags for last Five days. Very bad experience that I am still living it I’ll share live updates with pictures over the coming days either good or bad. My rating could change as we go.
