Hotel in zona Palazzo del Porfirogenito, Istanbul

I have booked at Pera orient hotel because it offers what I want from an hotel during my travels and the feedbacks were in its favor. Just after my booking was done I stumble on a negative review that was posted on trip advisor. I was worried about my choice. But when I went to Istanbul and stayed there, I felt compelled to share my own experience, which was entirely different and absolutely fantastic! I believe it's essential to give credit where credit is due. First of all , if you are seeking a resort , Pera Orient is not a resort and it never claims to be one! My stay at Pera Orient was comfortable and pleasant. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and attentive staff, who made their best to help me in every possible way and to answer my queries during my 5-day long stay. Their warm smiles and genuine willingness to assist truly set the tone for my stay. The location of the hotel is ideal. A 6 min walk from the hotel takes you to Taksim square where you can take the Metro or bus to reach your desired destination. And it allowed me to make regular daily walks on istikal street . The street is a little narrow yes, but there are plenty of hotels all around that I have never felt scared or unsafe ( as it was mentioned in the negative review). And I always took the upward direction then turn right towards taksim. I was greeted by a spotless clean room with a tasteful decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, The housekeeping staff was attentive and meticulous, making sure that my room was impeccably cleaned each day. Coffee and tea were left daily next to the kettle (sometimes with a bottle of water). When I will visit Istanbul again , I will definitely chose Pera Orient to stay in.

È un bel hotel in buona posizione. Taksim Square è a dieci minuti a piedi. Le strutture della stanza non sono aggiornate e un po 'ancora vecchie, ma è un pezzo di storia e ci mostra come lo stile degli anni '50 e '60 era. Ritengo che sia ancora una volta affascinante perché per quei Hotel Guests all'epoca era uno dei più moderni hotel. Così si può vedere il cambiamento di tempo. Ciò che è più importante, era molto pulito e spazioso. Dovete vedere il bagno degli ospiti nel lobby.Là potete mettervi nel tempo come le signore si sono stilate nel vestibulo carpetato (ora inconcepibile) Quando vedete quanti e quali celebrità erano in questo Hilton Hotel allora voi Sono fieri di far parte di questo!!! È attualmente in corso di ristrutturazione e dovrebbe essere pronto entro il 2025. Spero che troveranno una buona combinazione tra il vecchio e il moderno modo!!!

L'hotel mi è piaciuto per la pulizia, il prezzo, la posizione da piazza Taksim e la metropolitana.

Inizio a scrivere un recensione equo su questo hotel. In primo luogo, il personale è stato così gentile e amichevole che ha cercato di aiutare tutti. 1.They puliti le camere e ricargati le strutture della camera, come caffè istantaneo, sapone, sapone, shampoo, ecc. 2. Ogni camera ha un caldaio elettrico in modo che si possa fare tè e caffè ogni volta che si desidera. 3. La camera ha una scatola sicura per tenere le tue cose in esso.4. Il colazione è fantastico e fresco e cambiano una parte quotidiana.5.La nostra camera era al quinto piano e aveva un tetto solare.La camera era così pulita e pulita.6. La posizione dell'hotel è vicina alla piazza Taksim. ( La maggior parte delle strade di Istanbul non sono piatti. Eravamo a posto o si può scegliere di prendere un taxi). 7. La camera da letto era così pulita e unica.

Hotel con personale gentile e disponibile, abbiamo avuto qualche problema con un bagno che non funzionava perfettemente. Il personale si è attivato e ci ha sostituito la camera con una meravigliosa suite, dove abbiamo finito la nostra vacanza trattati come principi. Grazie torneremo. Colazione ottima e abbondante.

This was most certainly the worst hotel I've stayed in till date. After reading poor reviews for many Istanbul hotels close to sultanahmet, i saw some good reviews for this and decided to book. On arrival, the front office manager on the reception desk couldn't find our reservations, this took at least 10mins for him to sort, which I wasn't too pleased with, especially as we'd been travelling for around 15hours and had got off an overnight flight with no sleep with my elderly mother with me, that, and he didn't as so much apologise. Oh well, I let it go and we made our way up to the room. The deluxe room I'd booked was *tiny*, there was just enough floor space to open one suitcase, take what you need, close it and put it away to be able to move past it. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean too. I was about to hop into the shower when I pulled a towel off the rack.....brown poo stains were smeared over it. I was absolutely disgusted. I rang reception (the only number you can ring) and the front office manager said he'll send up housekeeping, yet again, not even a simple 'sorry'. I expressed how disgusted I was, I had only been in the hotel half an hour at this point! Housekeeping arrived shortly and replaced the towels. I had booked breakfast with our stay. The selection of food is very minimal. There were 2 waitresses who spent their time cleaning tables and stocking plates, guests were mainly ignored. Despite having paid for breakfast, you had to buy eggs and fresh juices. the only eggs available in the breakfast buffet were scrambled eggs and the juice was one I saw the waitress reconstituting from a powder and water. I've never stayed in a hotel where I've paid for breakfast and then been told I'd have to pay extra for certain items on the breakfast menu! Daylight robbery! I asked for an iron, which was sent up promptly. I rang down to enquire about the ironing board as there was nowhere to iron. The front office manager said ”Lady, you asked for an iron and you've got one now so what do you want!” I explained that i need a board to iron on, he said he'd see and call me back and angrily put the phone down. I didn't hear back for a few hours and needed clothes to go out in. So i had to use the bed as a make shift ironing board, not to mention the spits of hot water that burnt my hand in the process. Later in the day I rang for something else and also mentioned I didn't hear back about the ironing board- front office manager simply said he's been busy-no apology. He sent housekeeping to the room- a friendly lady who couldn't speak English and yet when i explained to her she understood and promptly brought me one. Be careful when ordering room service - the hotel don't actually make the food....they order takeout! I was told it would come in 20mins, I chased up 30mins later and was told 5mins, and then I chased up again and someone else who picked up laughed and said no it wouldn't be 5mins, it'll be another 20mins. La vista della stanza era grande e il personale era molto amichevole. Tuttavia, l’odore del fumo è piuttosto forte nella stanza e nelle aree pubbliche. Inoltre il letto è molto basso, quasi come mettersi la matita sul pavimento, non il mio tipo preferito.

My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

Il servizio di classe per la navetta aeroportuale, questo hotel modesto tickle ogni scatola. In primo luogo, grazie gentile al vicino siriano Ahmed con il suo dono di lingue da offrire come guida e traduttore. Una camera tranquilla in questa piccola strada troppo stretta per permettere il bus Vespa e il taxi è stato al centro. Vicino è la navetta di treno a €3.20 all'aeroporto di Istanbul ...clock il processo di tag bagagli e il lavoro mascherato. Ottimo. La mia stanza aveva una vista epica della città e così alta, il traffico è indetectable. Così pulito, ben attrezzato, sicuro e decente. Ho dormito un bisognoso 12 ore. Aircone e frigo sono silenziosi e le lavande erano bene.

Va bene, il prezzo non è all'altezza dell'ambiente, le strutture sono nella media, l'ambiente è dispiaciuto per il prezzo di circa 2000 per una notte, se vivi in quattro stagioni allo stesso prezzo, puoi vivere in un'ottima stanza
