Hotel vicini a Torre di Galata a Istanbul

My wife and I enjoyed our week-long stay in the Soul Hotel in Istanbul in January 2023. We found a “home” there and got treated like “VIPs”. (I’m confident that EVERY Soul Hotel guest likely receives VIP TREATMENT, though.) Normally, I would not post a review because leaving a SUPER review has the potential to make it harder for me to find availability for my own stay. However, I see that recently there was posted a crazy review. People need to know that that review is baloney, and I don't believe one single word of it, and neither should you! I’m American and have stayed in hotels throughout the world, so I am quite experienced to say that there is a combination of factors that makes the Soul hotel one of my favorite hotels I have ever stayed in anywhere. The soul hotel is IMMACULATE. Not only is it clean, but it is also SAFE; the temperature controls in the room ALL work perfectly; the water pressure is SUPER; it is QUIET; the sheets and towels are new and high quality; it has a TERRIFIC breakfast; it’s a beautifully designed hotel with a lovely combination of antique and modern (see the photos)—BUT… incredibly----these are not even the best feature. THE BEST feature of the hotel is: its STAFF. They are ALL GOOD PEOPLE. The staff members really CARE about guests. They ALL speak English quite well and most speak other languages, too! They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, and helpful. When you combine all these elements together, it makes for a truly memorable experience that is even reasonably priced(!) On top of the pricing, the design, the excellent staff, the great food and immaculate cleanliness, THEN there's the LOCATION. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of the most charming part of Istanbul. There are antique shops and art galleries and coffee houses all around, and it’s even around the corner from the #1 Hammam Spa in Istanbul. It’s also located about 7 minutes walking distance from Istiklal Street, the major street where all the big shops are. There’s simply no better accommodations to be had in Istanbul. I invested an huge amount of time researching and vetting various hotels before choosing the Soul Hotel, and I chose entirely correctly. So, for free, you now get to benefit of all my investigations and experience, and I get to worry that I’ll have to fight you in the future for my own reservations. I wrote this because I couldn't ignore the reputation of this really fine establishment being attacked by crazy lies. Soul Hotel staff give their best for guests, and I feel obliged to stand-up against any bad things implied about this hotel. Soul Hotel is a CLASS ACT all the way.

L'hotel è un hotel di grande valore, è in una posizione ideale per molti punti intorno a voi ( ristoranti, bar, club, supermercato, trasporti). È una persona molto gentile e amichevole. Il colazione è sorprendente, molte scelte. Un'amica turca e un azerbaigian (mi dispiace non ricordare i loro nomi) sono persone molto benvenute e amichevole. Raccomando molto questo hotel

L'hotel è situato nella Gulf Golden Corner nella zona europea di Istanbul. Ci sono tre minuti di autobus da andare. Prenotato con una suite di lusso mare con balcone, la stanza è al quarto piano, non grande, non c'è nessuna nota 43 metri quadrati. Le strutture sono vecchie, molto generali. Il cosiddetto ”lusso” è un lusso super grande balcone. È possibile vedere l'angolo del Golfo d'oro sul balcone.La colazione è buona, e c'è anche un po'di lusso.

E'solo un orribile terrore.Ero stato sistemato al primo piano nel 102, è considerato una stanza standard. Con la porta del cartone, e sento assolutamente tutto quello che accade sul stand di resepshne e costantemente tutti hanno bisogno di parlare al telefono dietro la mia porta, parlando a voce alta con il personale. Sulla parte della strada, il flusso infinito di auto con musica alta, che sbagli pneumatici e grida della gente. E il più idiota è il cane infinitamente cera in questo hotel. Giudizio per la legge è una sorta di cera di aragoste che si cera senza stanchezza. Il personale non fa nulla con esso. L'ultima goccia era lai alle 4:00 (!!!), la gente non sopravvisseva e andò a comunicare con l'amministratore. Il cane non poteva essere rassicurato per molto tempo. E le richieste di rumore - non si preoccupano. Voglio - muoversi per 30 euro più alto. In breve, non ti consiglio affatto. Ti aspetto di trasferirti da qui a un altro hotel. Pulizia - non ci sono richieste, tranne per capelli lunghi neri su asciugamani. Mobili vecchi. Muri uccisi tutti. La matrice è solo insoddisfacente.Il secondo giacca è doppiamente piegato per dormire in qualche modo mentre le fonti sono pompate in fondo (D'altro canto, le norme sono più che WiFi.

L'hotel era in buona fede, ma non era affatto in linea con la proprietà. Inoltre, per circa un'ora i tamburi erano inclini a chiamare i fedeli a mangiare prima del mattino, come è il Ramandan. Ho viaggiato in molti paesi musulmani durante il mese sacro e non ho mai avuto questa esperienza; e ho incluso Istanbul. Non potevo dormire mentre i gioielli si facevano più duri, perché non ci erano cortina, solo una rete che accendeva la stanza non appena la mattina si spezzava. Mi sono lamentato alle sei e ho pensato di essere d'accordo amichevole, ma alle dieci, questo era cambiato e il manager è diventato brutto e aggressivo. Mi sentivo minacciato e insafe e fu costretto a dire che mi mancava il volo, perché mi fu detto che era l'unico a cui avrei recuperato i miei soldi. Il manager non ha avuto ragione di dire che mi ha dato 175 euro quando mi ha dato 150 euro e mi ha detto di lasciare il suo hotel. Un altro esempio vergognoso della mancanza di verità. Questo è un alloggio atrotuciose e vi invito a evitare

La posizione è nel mezzo della città vecchia a sud e della nuova città europea a nord. È a dieci minuti a piedi dal Ponte di Galata e dalla Torre di Galata. L'autobus e la metropolitana sono abbastanza comodi ed è facile arrivare dentro e fuori, ma l'ambiente circostante è un po' disordinato. La stanza è nel complesso buona, il design e la disposizione dei mobili sono ragionevoli ed è molto comodo riporre oggetti e vivere. Ma la stanza è un po' piccola e il bagno con doccia è molto stretto. La biancheria da letto è nella media e gli articoli da toeletta non sono di alta qualità. Ho prenotato una camera vista mare. Purtroppo c'è un vecchio edificio fatiscente e senza estetica nella metà sinistra di fronte. Non vale la pena pagare il 30% in più per la camera, anzi perché è affacciata sulla strada ed è vicina al ponte, il rombo e il rumore dei veicoli sono infiniti. , pensavo che sarebbe stato meglio se di notte ci fossero meno macchine, ma dal giorno alla notte non si è mai fermato. Il servizio dell'hotel è abbastanza buono. Il personale della reception e di servizio è gentile e cortese. La signora che mi ha ricevuto è stata molto cordiale e sincera. Inoltre, il ristorante al 9° piano ha una bella vista e l'atteggiamento del servizio è molto buono, il che ha attenuato la mia delusione nei confronti della stanza.

These guys are a scam operation. They’ll offer you airport transfer at inflated prices, there driver won’t show up, so you’ll take a different cab/taxi, then when you end up at the hotel they will make paying for the their shuttle (which was never there) a precondition for handing you the room keys (which was already paid for in my case). Total scam operation, rude front desk staff and general manager. I chose to leave that hotel there and then which my four suitcases and family of four, took a cab, found a hotel while in cab over phone, paid double obviously at the last minute, at another hotel, was greeted there again with the familiar Turkish hospitality and the worst travel nightmare came to an end. Plus the location is horrible, deep, narrow, steep alleyways, most larger van/shuttle type vehicles can’t make it without scraping their bottoms and getting damaged in the process, which if you don’t have a nice driver you may end up having to pay for. Consider your self forewarned, Don’t stay there. And like a typical scam operation they change their name frequently. Sometimes add Taksim to their name, sometime not. Pera or Agha or Orient in their name at different sites. their address is Duvarcı Adem Sk. No:35, 34435 Beyoğlu/İstanbul

L'equipaggio è professionale e utile. Tutti i membri del personale sono amici. Ci hanno aiutati a prenotare un taxi e a garantire un prezzo equo, che ci ha resi sicuri e protetti. L'hotel è dotato di buone attrezzature. Ci sono stati piaceri nei programmi di colazione e spa.

È meglio andare senza colazione per il suo prezzo ragionevole. La varietà della colazione è molto limitata. Le camere sono gestibili

HI - I have marked this as average for a couple of reasons - the first is that when you book this hotel online they do not tell you that there are 2 wings in the hotel facing each other - the first is one is the main only with suite rooms and the other one is called the ”deluxe” wing. Also they don't tell on the website what is different between the 2 wings - we booked the hotel through Makemytrip.com website where it was mentioned that the room size was 325 sq ft and advertised as a 5 star hotel. Believing the details we booked the hotel for 7 nights - now when we check in we find the following problems : 1. The room is barely 200 sq ft in size and very small 2. The floors are stained 3. The furniture is all scratched 4. There is supposedly a balcony which is dirty and walls are stained 5. The lobby of the so called 5 star hotel was like a 2 star small lobby. So we call the Guest Relationship executive and make the complaints that this is not a 5 start hotel room - it is not even a 2 star hotel room and the area is much smaller than advertised. He agrees with us but says he is helpless - so we ask to see the manager - the manager has perfected the art of making excuses - he tells us that the room is used daily so the furniture is damaged and the area of the room is as per the original plan which was passed although the actual size is small. We made a huge fuss and asked to be relocated to the other wing - so they showed us a suite room which was nice and we asked them to move us there - they said that this would cost us 90 euros per night extra - we negotiated and settled at euro 50 per night and paid euros 350 extra for the 7 nights. This wing is fine and service is also good. I am attaching the pictures of the room in the deluxe wing - please see for your self whether this can be called as a room of a 5 tsar hotel. The hotel really needs to be pulled up for false advertising and also MakeMyTrip should be pulled up for not verifying claims of the hotels they advertise on their website.
