Hotel in zona Lokumist, Istanbul

This review is based on a recent 4 nights stay in this hotel. It is not a very positive review and will most likely be followed up by a response from the hotel, so it is up to you to consider who you would like to trust. I normally have a large degree of empathy when travelling and staying at hotels all over the world, but this hotel crossed definitely my threshold I had arranged a shuttle from the airport to the hotel and was provided with details as to where to locate the agent outside the arrival at the airport. Went to the designated “agent” who had a list of customers needing rides to the city. However, my name was not on the list and therefore waited 10-15 to see if perhaps there would an update or another “agent”. Let me add that I had my phone in airplane mode to avoid the ridiculous high tele and roaming charges in Turkey, perhaps a mistake on my part but I was not expecting any problem catching a ride. Should be very simple. When the “agent” never showed up, I arranged my own transport to the hotel, and this is where the “fun” starts. I was immediately met by an angry receptionist who claimed that I had never showed up as agreed which is a lie and continued to claim that I showed no respect and was lying. We “settled” his continuous claims by splitting the fare from the airport to avoid my hotel bill being charged for this. And now to the room: How on earth can anyone sane person construct a bathroom floor that tilts away from the drain causing a flood in the bathroom and the door and doorstep become rotten from guests showering. You are “graciously” provided with a swap to clear the water but it takes at least 5 mins to clear the significant amount of water accumulated on the floor. I am curious to know if the bathroom has a watertight membrane under the floor to avoid leaking below. Should the guest really be doing this - just wondering and to the lack of authorisations required to perform this type of work. Seems to be done by an amateur. There is a bad un-identifiable smell in the room, most likely caused by the regular floods in the bathroom and it is impossible to sleep with the windows open due to noise from the streets. On top of that, the room is so small that is it impossible to move around without hitting the bed, the cupboard or a chair. The wire for the bedside lamps are stitched together with electrical tapes causing a potential fire hazard Again done by an amateur. In summary, here is my evaluation of the hotel: Positive: Good location within walking distance to major sites and plenty of restaurants Negative: Un-reliable shuttle service Flooding bathroom floor Poor smell in room Dangerous electrical wiring which is a fire hazard Noise from streets and adjoining rooms

Le strutture sono relativamente semplici, l'igiene è molto pulita, la posizione geografica è molto vicina ai punti caldi della moschea, e c'è una distanza a piedi da famosi negozi e banche di prodotti. La posizione è ancora buona e molto tranquilla. Ma l'hotel stesso è su un collinare molto ricco. Quando torna la sera, è meglio giocare. Le donne sono un po'distanti da questa parte e hanno un compagno.La reception è molto entusiasta. L'arrivo anticipato all'hotel può aiutare a mantenere il bagaglio. Ci sono spazi speciali e sembrano sicuri. La colazione è una forma di auto-assistenza, una colazione europea più semplice, molto pulita.

Цены приемлеые. И молодой человек, который нас заселял, действительно милый. На этом плюсы заканчиваются, а дальше начинаются только МИНУСЫ. 4 звездами тут даже не пахнет, от силы 2. А уровень сервиса – минус 4 звезды. 1) Из номера пропали вещи. Вещи возвращены не были, компенсации не было, зато было много хамства, угроз и оскорблений от персонала в мой адрес. В последний день уборщики выкинули мои вещи, взяв их из тумбочки, которая стоит рядом с мусорным ведром. К сожалению, ее не смутило, что пакет с вещами не мусорный, что пакет стоит в тумбочке рядом с мусорным ведром, а не в ведре. Не смутило наличие в пакете множества нужных мне лекарств, наушников, некоторых предметов гардероба, а также ключей от квартиры! Проблема отсутствия была замечена поздно вечером, когда мы вернулись после прогулки. В пакете были важные для меня таблетки. Персонал с reception предложил мне вместо них парацетомол (который никак мне не мог помочь), на этом его услужливость закончилась! После этого он сказал, что его смена до 11 вечера и ушел. Наплевав на все мои проблемы. Дополнительно сообщив, что в нашем номере вообще никто не выкидывал мусор, они якобы созвонились с уборщицей и она сказала, что не убирала и даже не заходила. А мусор, видимо испарился! Ей они верят, а мне нет. Ищи лучше, чао! Потрясающая работа персонала, не правда ли? К счастью или несчастью, отель, видимо, имеет общего собственника и управляющего с другим отелем, где нам подавали завтрак. Как минимум персонал там один и тот же, поэтому проблему пришлось идти решать в соседний отель. Там, казалось, молодой человек был более услужливый и клятвенно мне обещал, что мне всё вернут, всё компенсируют и помогут. Но уже после того, как я уеду. А двери от квартиры я должна вскрыть профессионалами (поскольку ключи от моей квартиры были выкинуты), как в дальнейшем писал мне управляющий – «это же всего 2долларов, у вас что нет 20 долларов?». Всё их участие состояло в том, что 1) мне велели успокоиться (это ведь так просто быть спокойной, понимая, что когда приедешь домой, попасть туда не получится!), 2) просмотрели со мной камеры , где видно, что уборщик выносит из номера мой пакет с вещами!! А ведь ранее говорили, что к нам никто даже не заходил! Но теперь их версия изменилась. Теперь версия персонала состояла в том, что они взяли мой пакет с вещами прямо из мусорки. Они не могут мне ничего компенсировать, потому что надо расследовать это дело! Что расследовать? Загадка! Но добиться мне ничего не удалось, мы обменялись месенджерами и меня убедили ждать решения проблемы на следующий же день в 8 утра. На следующий день я вернулась в свой город. В мессенджере я получила только очередное сообщение с просьбой успокоиться и сообщение о том, что моим вопросом занимаются и напишут на следующий день (опять на сл

Ho avuto un ottimo soggiorno in questo ostello a Istanbul. Ho prenotato un letto in camera da letto femminile, ed è stata una grande esperienza. Il personale è stato eccellente a risolvere qualsiasi problema e è stato molto utile per tutta la mia permanenza. Il colazione era delizioso, e il prezzo era molto conveniente. La stanza era pulita e ben mantenuta, con tutte le attrezzature necessarie. Il letto era confortevole e pulito, e la stanza aveva aria condizionata. Raccomando vivamente questo ostello a chiunque visiti Istanbul!

Un hotel eccellente, vicino alla piazza e a Istiklal Caddesi in pochi minuti, e tutti i servizi sono disponibili intorno ad esso, da ristoranti, negozi di alimentari o barbieri. L'auto entra e la zona è sicura e protetta. Tutto grazie allo staff dell'hotel del fratello Ibrahim Ma Qasr e il direttore dell'hotel, il signor Amrallah.. Grazie, grazie per il rispetto, l'attenzione e l'ospitalità. Ci hanno trattato come se fossero la loro famiglia... solo un piccolo ringraziamento... e un hotel che consiglierei a famiglie o singoli individui, e la colazione è disponibile. I had a really bad experience with this hotel. On the first night (I arrived late at night at the hotel), I found one of the beds and it's pillow soaking wet. I was very tired and decided to address the issue the next day. However, to my surprise, I was unable to switch off the lights. At 1:00 am I had 3 people in the room fiddling with the buttons with solutions such as ”sleep with some light” and ”remove the card so the room gets dark”. The next day, my agent suggested a room change, but because of my experience and my plans for the day, I didn't want to be moved into a room without seeing it, so I just asked for the light switches to be fixed and the sheets changed. I went out for the day to return at night. At reception I was assured that the problems were fixed. I walked into the room to find all my stuff gone. Only things in the safe were there. I went to the reception and found my suitcase, my hand bag, my carry on and my cosmetics bag. Someone had the audacity to pack my personal belongings. They actually removed my watch and charger and put them in my hand bag. My tooth brush, shampoo and other personal belongings were also packed into my bags with no consideration whatsoever. The person at the reception had no idea and explained that it seems someone intended to move my room and didn't. I find that unacceptable to say the least. The next day I came back to the room and found an ironing board blocking my room door. Super random behavior really. In addition to the above, the room was not clean, no tissue box and other essentials. the beds were hastily made, no effort even to straighten the sheets. All the sheets were mismatched. I tried to see the manager for 2 days in a row and got answers like ”he is in a meeting” from 9:00 am to 4 pm. When I asked where his office was, the answer was ”I don't know :). The only reason why I did not leave this joke of a hotel was that I was traveling with an older group of people and I didn't want to create disturbance for them. It's a definite no go for me.

Beautiful looking hotel, great staff. The Location is not really the best but there was a huge mall 10min drive away. Taxis and public transportation is accessible but the traffic is crazy in this area. I stayed for 3 nights and I was moderately comfortable, there was a Strange smell in the room and I would blame the damp.. I don’t know if Turkey struggles with damp a lot but is seems like they do seeing that the last hotel I stayed in had the same problem. Besides this the hotel was nice, with a beautiful atrium. There was also a Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel building with very high priced food plus tax charges, I only had lunch there once and made sure to avoid it afterwards. The only thing I can say is the hotel is maintained well compared to what I have experienced in the past. I really appreciated the service when checking in, there was a person to help to with your bags and show you to your room and helps you connect to the Wi-Fi, this was a nice gesture. The hotel also has security with scanners which gives the guest a sense of real security, I liked this. There leisure centre was amazing, they have a great fully equipped gym free to used with staff. They also provide a personal trainer at an extra cost.

On arrival, it was sweltering hot in the room with the temperature 26,5 °C. Windows don't open. The air conditioner failed to adjust to a cool temperature. At most I managed to get the temperature down to 25.5 °C. In doing so, the conditioner made a lot of noise. This negative moment spoiled the impression, as it did not let me sleep well. Perhaps this problem (Malfunction of the air conditioning system) was only in my room. One more advantage - 24 hours room service. Convenient, in case of a late arrival. Overall, it was a pleasant experience also thanks to helpful friendly staff.
