Hotel in zona Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres

Abbiamo davvero goduto il nostro soggiorno di 3 notti. Il controllo in corso è stato veloce entro 5-10 min e ci è stato dato il tipo di camera tranquilla come richiesto quando abbiamo prenotato che è grande. La stanza è grande e pulita con una vista marina sorprendente e un balcone privato e un hammock. Siamo stati preoccupati per il Wi-Fi a causa delle numerose denunce che sono state visualizzate online, ma sorprendentemente è stato grande per tutta la nostra permanenza al piano più alto! L'acqua potabile è situata nel lobby con un'installazione per le bevande calde e fornisce anche una microonde, che è un bonus. La posizione è anche molto strategica, appena uscire dal piazzale della ferrata e poi camminare direttamente sulla strada e entro 2 minuti troverete Rocamar. Anche il supermercato (Super Aki) è vicino, a soli 1-2 minuti a piedi. Così come i ristoranti, i servizi di lavanderia e negozi di souvenir che erano meno di 5 minuti a piedi. Con: Possono migliorare il lavaggio delle tovaglie, pure ma ancora tinite.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel IZLA dal primo aperto, così abbiamo visto i cambiamenti del tempo. La proprietà è ancora in una nuova condizione, il personale è grande. Tuttavia, ciò che è cambiato è le tariffe di nichel e di dime e il costo eccessivo di dietro cibo. Era $30 per persona per la possibilità di colazione, ma ioy poteva ordinare ala carte colazione per 1/2 che. Ti danno 1 piccola bottiglia di acqua 16 oz al giorno e vendono solo Evian nel negozio regalo per un costo insultato, ora si prelevano un extra di voi che vuole un letto bali che si sedeva vuoto durante l'inverno che eravamo li'. Per quanto riguarda la proprietà, la stanza era come sempre stellare per noi.

Very disappointed with the accommodation and service provided during my stay at Nomads Isla Mujeres. Despite booking what I assumed would be a comfortable room, I encountered several issues that significantly impacted my experience. I got the room next to the reception, it was a good size room but overlooked a construction site, an unpleasant view. The room itself was noticeably damp with a persistent unpleasant odor. The sink drain was obstructed, clogged and a smelled of stagnant water. Both, the sink and shower water tasted salty, despite the explanation provided by your staff that this was a common issue on the island, which I late discovered to be untrue. The housekeeping staff, particularly the manager, were very helpful. But I cannot say the same from hotel manager at point. Initially, when I voiced my concerns,he attempted to justify the issues rather than address them effectively. After back-and-forth discussions, his manager authorized to reimburse 1 night, telling me it would take ~1 month to get my money back, but after 6 months have passed, I have not gotten my money back!! Overall, while my stay was tolerable, it fell far short of the standard expected considering the price paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend your hotel to others, nor would I choose to stay there again in the future.

Casa de los Suenos is THE place to stay when you would rather feel like an old friend than a guest. From the moment that you book to your arrival on site, they are there every step of the way to help you get to your final destination. And in my case that was destination relaxation. This is probably the most important part of my review, so I'll include it first. As a young-ish solo female traveler, I felt 100% comfortable staying here. There is always someone in the main lobby keeping an eye on things and they lock the main front door from 11:00pm to 7:00am. The staff will call you by your first name from day 1, making you feel seen and acknowledged and most of all, cared for. Thank you to Chris, Roger, and Carlos. As its located in the Southern part of Isla, you'll need to consider transportation options if you really want to explore. They have bikes on site that you can use and if you arrange it ahead of time, they will have a golf cart waiting for you upon arrival that they make sure is always full of gas and just added to your tab at check out. By far the easiest and most reliable way to get a cart on the island. It takes approx 25-30 minutes to drive via golf cart from Case to the North Beach. I also love how they have the partnership with the restaurant below, Kin Ha. Excellent breakfast that comes with your stay. The view is breathtaking and Gil who curated the playlist is a genius with the tunes that play as you dine. There are also pools, a water swing, kayaks etc, and snorkeling right there included. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a fridge. My room, the exec king suite was more than I could have hoped for, especially when you consider the sweeping views of the ocean. The pool is divine and cleaned daily. One of my favorite parts, the house pups Marvin and Nina, (and even the cat Maggie) were perhaps my most favorite feature. They are the sweetest and must fun Casa mascots. If you're lucky they will even walk you down to breakfast! One note of improvement, which they are working on, is the company that they contract with for the transfer service. It was a little bit discombobulated on the way there, but everything worked out in the end. Chris personally took down my feedback and shared it with the company so that hopefully things go more smoothly for future guests (note that this is not a reflection of Casa, just a vendor they work with). If your thinking hmmm I usually stay in name brand hotels (trust me, I am a Marriott loyalist to an extreme level), do not do that here on Isla. Stay here. The experience is part of being on the Island. You will love your time on the island that much more if you stay at Casa de los Suenos. It really is a dream.

I was a guest at Atelier on March 24, 2023 when a fire on the property broke out. While I am grateful for the safety of myself and my partner, the lack of leadership and emergency protocols during the event was evident. There were no fire alarms, smoke was filling the hallways, and it wasn't until my partner and I left our room that we saw resort workers knocking on doors telling guests to evacuate the building. We were forced to sleep on the beach, given one towel and one water bottle, and were left with no direction or updates from resort management the entire night. The next morning, none of the workers could provide any information on the state of the fire (which was clearly still burning) or direct us on what to do or where to go. My partner and I had to 'sneak' back into the resort, grab our things quickly and leave. It wasn't until we went out to the parking lot and saw other guests doing the same that we understood we were going to be placed on a shuttle bus and shipped off to another resort. Once we were placed at the other resort, we were responsible for paying for that unintended stay. Overall, the entire situation was very distressing to say the least, and not what is to be expected of such a highly rated 5-star resort. Now it's 6 weeks after the fire and I've had to follow up multiple times via phone and email to ask for proper refund and compensation for my stay and the additional stay I had to book on top of Atelier. I understand that their teams are dealing with a lot of guests, but there has been absolutely no proactiveness in their outreach, and I truly feel that if I had not been so consistent, I wouldn't have heard from them at all. Now that I've finally made progress on potentially receiving a reimbursement, they're asking me to provide financial banking and personal information (SSN) via an excel spreadsheet through email. It's completely unacceptable to ask guests to provide sensitive information via such insecure means. The way Atelier has handled this situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth, I can't consider ever going back.

Decent place nice breakfast, road around the hotel is muddy otherwise everything else is nice.

Il check-in era buono, il ragazzo alla ricezione era gentile e sembrava una vacanza perfetta, ma poi sono successe due situazioni... 1. Ho lasciato la parte del mio denaro in una borsa, e qualcuno ancora 100 dollari da lì, probabilmente pensando, che ”gringo” non lo calcola... solo un giorno prima di partecipare da lì a cambiare e il giorno dopo mezzanotte c'era 1 banconota meno. Naturalmente non potevo provarlo, quindi non ha senso parlarne. 2. Anche smbd rubò 1 cioccolato (che non è 100 dollari, ma era un regalo, che portava da un altro paese - come un regalo dal viaggio)... 3. E infine, c'è stato un incidente quando tre membri del personale si sono sbattuti intorno alla nostra stanza in assenza. E siamo tornati troppo presto. Hanno sollevato scuse per essere preoccupati per la situazione sicura. Il mio amico aveva lasciato la giacca in sicurezza, ma non li scusa per aver intruso nel nostro spazio e lasciato aperta la nostra porta a tutti. Le pulizie hanno pulito la nostra stanza più o meno bene (a volte dimenticano il balcone 😅) e non hanno mai cambiato le nostre letti, ma ci trascorrono 17 notti... Un po' compensato dalla buona posizione, spiaggia e operatore turistico dell'hotel, ma non abbastanza per riempirsi in modo sicuro e comodo.
