Excellent entertainment options, pools and water park. Rooms are close to beach and restaurants are all in one location, so it is easy to walk around.
Rooms are clean and well maintained.
Some staff members were nice and helpful, some were not very friendly and moody.
Food from some restaurants was not as good as advertised in photos and descriptions, it was a bit of a disappointment.
Dining buffet was great and offered excellent variety.

Water park area nice. Food subpar, drinks subpar. Beds horribly uncomfortable. Overall kids (4,8, 14) enjoyed time at beach, pool and waterpark but this is a one and done for us.

Bring a lot of extra $. If you flight is changes due to weather or any reason, t and you meed to stay for more time, this hotel charges you $500 a night

First time to Mexico and wasn’t sure what to expect. The Riu Dunamar was a great choice. The room was comfortable, showers were hot, fridge was always stocked up, great dinner options and we thought the nightly entertainment was very good. Was a comfortable resort with 5 pools, swim up bars and access right on the beach. Easy to find a place to sit at the beach and lounge chairs provided. Jet-ski rentals just a hope and skip away. Very nice place. Wouldn’t mind visiting again.

Property could use some updates. Bathrooms are very old and outdated. Showers difficult to use. In general bathrooms need updated.

The food isn’t good, if you’re going strictly for alcohol and parties you may enjoy it, but the facilities are old, and not functioning well. The service isn’t great either, it takes forever for you to get someone to take your order at the beach or at the pool so you are constantly getting up to just get your own things. The specialty restaurants are pretty bad in my opinion.
