Hotel Sonne Ischgl

We came for the second year to the hotel and truly, the quality is consistent across everything. Many thanks to Peter and Sonja for creating such a beautiful environment and to the flawless staff that manages everything perfectly! Special thanks to Svenja for her impeccable manners in the morning, the nice coffee she prepared for us, and the breakfast made by the chef Ilias, which is very special and thoughtful. The best omelette I’ve had so far. We also visited the Sunalm à la carte restaurant, and everything we ate was perfect: tomato mozzarella, mixed salad, Wiener Schnitzel, and we tried the very nice Lucas wine from the vineyards of the Zangerl family, who make their own wine. Everything was wonderful, and we thank Sandra, Andrej, and all the other staff who treated us excellently with great professionalism. Many thanks to Peter for the lovely stay he provided. We’re waiting for you to come to beautiful Halkidiki so we can show you around!

Another amazing day at the hotel sonne This year it’s had a face lift and room and reception, very slick and fresh Damien head waiter was an absolute legend, Svenja,Fred & Laura also great team nothing was too much trouble. Greek omelette chap also ledge. All the staff are very engaging and friendly.. Great place Food is second to none Family business atmosphere/energy is great. The Spa is is incredible.

This was fifth time in Ischgl and third but not last time in Hotel Sonne. A great place to visit. The reception is fantastic and the attention to detail. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable super fit for skiing and relaxation. The restaurant is always serving half board, and food quality and choices are really good. Always something that we all like. Breakfast is amazing with an egg station and all in fresh ingredients. Dinner always great - the gourmet description on the website is so correct and the pictures there speaks for itself. The winelist has both great local and international wines. For sure a place worth visiting. The location is super cental in the middle of the highstreet, but still not noisy. Short walk to the lift in the morning. Brand new renovated ski room super convenient, and a good reflection of how well thought through Hotel Sonne is. I almost forgot to mention that the hotel is run by the Zangerl family and you really feel welcome here.

With a few friends we booked a short ski in this hotel. The hotel has excellent location close to the Fimba-lift. Big compliments to the Hotel Sonne team for great food, wonderful and friendly service, beautiful skiroom, great wellness, nice rooms. We stayed in the rooms which were not yet refurbished, still nice, but would benefit from the upgrade. Strong recommendation for your trip to Ischgl

We have visited many ski resorts in the alps and many hotels the hotel Sonne and the track above is one of the best!!! we are very excited!!! what about the rooms? they are perfect! for the central point where is the hotel next to the dorftunel which goes back to the ski slopes? important! the food was great! and in the restaurant and in the À la carte of the hotel in Sunalm! It was really great! let us give special thanks to Ilias Simos who knew how to treat us every day when we were there, with sweet and special tastes! and special thanks to sweet Svenja who surprised us with her great knowledge of wines! Well done to all of you!! thank you for everything and you mean that we will visit you again next year. We hope to see you all there again! We visited the hotel at the beginning of January, at the heart of winter! very nice hotel with friendly staff very nice rooms and very good food!! And as a lover of good wine, let us give special thanks to Svenja, the sommelier of the restaurant, who really has a lot of knowledge on this subject! Whatever wine she suggested to us for that one week we were there, was perfect! Congratulations to all of you, we will visit you again next year, hope to see you all there again!
