"Really great, truly 5* hotel. Rooms spacious and modern with large bathrooms and lovely views from balcony. Breakfast and dinner very good. Minor niggle that the waiter was very pushy with very expensive wine which honestly got a little annoying. Pool very nice and hot tub great but got a little busy. NYE meal was very nice. Would recommend."

"Everything was excellent! All staff (cleaning, restaurant and at the reception) was very kind and super efficient. Room was extra clean. The food was amazing (We had breakfast and dinner) complements to the chefs: many choices (including organic, traditional and local) and super fresh! The location was very convenient, just 5 minutes to the main gondola lift. I totally recommend this hotel 100% and I hope to come back again!"

"Stunning location and exceptionally friendly staff team. Right beside two major lifts up to Idalp. Easy check in. Rooms have the most amazing view. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi warm and great fun in the snow. The new spa area is lovely. Don’t miss out on the Apres snacks in the bar, which is stunning with great slop views. Brilliant ski locker with no stairs to navigate. Each room has a spacious heated locker. The food is so nice with a different focus every night. Mohammad and the rest of the lovely team looked after us very well. Would definitely return. Service is excellent and there is a lovely relaxed family atmosphere throughout the hotel. It’s right beside the connecting tunnel to the rest of the village. Lots of hire stores, Apres bars and a supermarket near by."

"Il hotel doveva rimanere, ma si è bloccato nel Medio Oriente senza poter viaggiare. Anche se, secondo le condizioni, dovevamo pagare il 90% del prezzo, l'hotel ha accettato di rinunciare alla maggior parte di esso. Non è per niente "per concesso" e ci aspettiamo di rimanere lì, e di restituire questo trattamento molto gentile che abbiamo ricevuto!"

"We had two weeks booked through Crystal ski holidays. As soon as you arrive you are made welcome. All the staff are fantastic and the training they receive is exemplary. The restaurant staff get two weeks training and it shows. A special mention must be made for Carmen and Magda who looked after us very well. The Von Der Thannen family hotel is superb. The rooms, the spa, swimming pools, decor, cleanliness and of course the restaurant of forty chefs run by Martin Sieberer are amazing. Our meals were simply amazing. This is a very special hotel and well deserves all its accolades. Thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable experience. "

"Abbiamo trascorso solo pochi giorni, ma sono stati davvero piacevoli in questo hotel, che fa dell’eccellenza nel servizio al cliente il suo punto di forza. La colazione è ricca e di ottima qualità, mentre l’area SPA è spaziosa e ben attrezzata, con due eleganti piscine in acciaio che rappresentano, a mio avviso, il perfetto connubio tra igiene e stile. La posizione dell’hotel è ideale: si trova praticamente nel cuore di Ischgl, a pochi passi dal principale impianto di risalita. Frequentiamo questa località da oltre 15 anni e questo è uno dei migliori hotel in cui siamo stati, se non il migliore in assoluto."

"Hotel fantastico: il proprietario e la sua famiglia sono stati di una gentilezza fuori dal comune! Si percepisce fin da subito la passione e l’attenzione che viene messa in ogni singolo dettaglio. Grazie alla loro accoglienza e dedizione, ci si sente subito a proprio agio. La cucina è eccellente, ad alti livelli con attenzione al biologico, nelle cinque portate dall’antipasto al dessert! La camera famigliare ampia e con ambienti spaziosi è di una pulizia impeccabile. La località Ischgl offre numerose passeggiate, anche grazie alla Silvretta card fornita dall’hotel che permette di usufruire gratuitamente di tutti gli impianti.
