3 old men kayaking the Great Glen, we stayed in various hotels but this place trumped the lot. Spotless rooms with great views. Splendid dining room/bar with a big decked relaxing area outside, looking down on mighty Loch Ness. Lovely local ale on the pumps, accompanied by 204 different whiskies. The hosts? She a beautiful warm Manc, he a highlander straight from Braveheart, and a damn fine chef... best food we ate. I can't recommend Foyers House highly enough. Salut

Fabulous stay in the most wonderful setting with stunning views over Loch Ness and just across the road from The Falls Of Foyers. Our hosts Louise and Terry were so welcoming and our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Dinner was absolutely delicious as was the breakfast, all cooked by Terry . The bar stocks an incredible 204 types of whiskey, that louise is extremely knowledgeable about . We would love to visit again and stay for longer, as it was so relaxing .

Peace and tranquility with breath taking views of Loch Ness. Fantastic room, comfy bed and excellent bathroom facilities. We had magic views of Loch Ness straight out the front windows of our room. Terry’s food was delicious breakfast and dinner and Louise just the perfect host and helpful with any questions about local attractions or suggested guidence on which road to take.

The rooms are absolutely stunning and very clean. The bed was super comfy. Foyers house is away from most restaurants and shops however, they do offer Breakfast and Dinner here. The food was absolutely 5 star! There is a bar open in the evening there, until about 8pm. The owners work really hard in the running of this hotel, as it's family run. The view of Loch Ness is absolutely unreal. Louise (the owner) will go above and beyond, as makes your stay here super special, especially when there is a special occasion. It's very difficult to pick any negatives from our stay, but if I had to name one, the prices in the bar are a little high, but that I think is out mind when thinking of all the fab positives of this hotel.

Amazing place beautiful rooms lovely food homely but amazing flavours Louise and Terry are a lovely couple was made to feel welcome views incomparable to anything else one thing I would say either take your car or hire from Inverness our mistake could not fault the accommodation thanks

Very nice hotel with the Loch Ness view. Less touristic side of the lake but very nice. Just in front of a little walk to falls. Rooms are very clean . Impressive number of whyskies proposed! We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. A great stay.

A clean and tidy guest house with views over the Loch. Rooms are warm and comfortable with usual amenities. Louise is an excellent host and please have a taste of one of over 200 whiskies available at the bar!! A lovely evening meal and breakfast too!

Glad some people enjoyed this place; we didn’t get the chance. They agreed to extend our book-in time but texted a few minutes later to say we needed to cancel if we couldn’t arrive by 9.30 (because I’d made a foolish quip during the phone-call). They refunded our money but left us with nowhere to stay. We ended up sleeping on the floor of someone with dogs when I have a severe allergy to them – I’m still suffering now. Admittedly the joke was silly, but really???

Very unhelpful. Their website included a Dining option within their Food and Drink tab. It listed a sample menu with no prices. I sent an enquiry regarding the prices and got a polite but very unhelpful response suggesting I'd messaged the wrong property. Their website gives you info about the food and drink at "our on site restaurant and bar ". Their replied as if they had never heard of the restaurant. Net result - both businesses lost a booking. The sample menu has since been removed from their website. I'm not surprised they have got very variable reviews for their attitude. P.S you'd think they'd spell "Military" correctly on their own address at the bottom of the webpage
