The Tallulah House is a family home that has been completely renovated. It features a large screened porch, large yard, fully furnished kitchen, central heat and air, covered parking, washer and dryer and beautiful oak floor. It is conveniently located to the town of Robbinsville, a short drive from Lake Santeetlah, the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and great fishing and hiking.My wife (Sara) and I (Rick) are retired NC Public School employees after 30+ years with Graham County Schools. We have remodeled Sara's parents home over a two year period and are now making it available as a short time rental property. We are active in our community and church and enjoy spending time with family and our four grandchildren. You can have your cell number forwarded to the landline depending on your cell company. Cell service is available at the top of the road and various other areas including the intersection of 143 and 28 in the parking lot about 5 minutes away. **While we have internet, it is not considered high speed to enable you to work from the cabin. Cable Cove is 14 minutes away for swimming and boating at Lake Fontana. Fontana Dam and visitor center and The Nantahala Outdoor Center with white water rafting and zip line are approximately 20-25 minutes away. Hurrahs Casino is about a 35-minute drive. Groceries, beer and wine can be purchased at Ingles grocery in Robbinsville approximately 20 minutes away. Alcohol is available for purchase in Bryson City or Murphy.The road to the cabin is single lane and gravel.
