In the summertime, soak up the sun while paddling in the pedal boat, enjoying a beverage on the deck, or driving the nearby Blue Ridge Parkway, 5 minutes away. At 2500 feet in elevation, the summers are warm, but not hot and humid, while the winters are mild with a nip in the air and snow on the ground in late January and early February.
