The private room looks just like the Trip.com image. Very clean. Bed is very firm futon-style w/2 pillow choices. Window gives sound of waves & fresh sea breeze. Aircon also works well, if needed.
Excellent hot water in the all-in-one bathroom. Water pressure was powerful. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, hair dryer all provided.
Hostel is 2 minute walk to Longquan Beach & 2 minute walk to bus stop, very convenient location. Bus costs 3¥ & hostel owner will graciously explain transport to other villages, other beaches, and to Houtouwan (abandoned village--it's fantastic!) on Shengshan island--round trip by bus is 12¥.
This hostel is a perfect choice for budget-minded travelers who want clean, inexpensive, no-fills lodging. The friendly, knowledgeable owner, who was previously a teacher, speaks a bit of English, and is a very fine cook! Ask her about food--her meal prices are very reasonable and it's fresh.

Anche se è un popolare, guardare le immagini e i nomi pensava che fosse un hotel vacanze, e non l'ho trovato per molto tempo. Ma la posizione e lo scenario del piccolo quartiere sono davvero buoni. RRares MAn excellent stay on Shengshan Island. Before we even arrived, the owner already contacted us on WeChat with information about our stay and gave us very comprehensive tips for our stay. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to the boat port, the main entry onto Shengshan, and it is just across it. The owner was waiting for us when we arrived off the boat and helped us get our luggage. They have a very convenient luggage lift which means that you don't have to lug anything up the stairs. The hotel feels clean, luxurious, comfy and homely at the same time. It is a family run hotel and the reception is very warm. Our room was very clean and everything that was needed was provided. The view was spectacular from our room (image provided). The bed was very comfy and the lounger was perfect for watching the sea within the comfort of your room. The pool downstairs is great to cool off after a day out exploring. The breakfast provided was very nice and simple, some youtiao (Chinese fried dough, similar to churros), soy milk and sweet and savoury buns.
All in all an excellent experience, and we thank the hosts for everything.

Ascoltare le onde nel letto non può dormire. Il più grande raccolto di andare in piccola isola è dormire molto. Il suono delle onde è il miglior rumore di ingresso bianco!Il sole brillerà attraverso le finestre del letto di casa del tizio di mattina, davvero cura molto calda! Il suono della stanza è molto tranquillo, anche le finestre sono doppie e luminose. L'igiene della stanza è molto fatta, molto pulita, al contrario, molto soddisfatta, insolita alla gente esplosa.
La stanza è pulita, spaziosa, luminosa, comoda, servizio buono, e l'entusiasmo è alto.

MMaria13579Una delle nostre migliori vacanze in Cina!Questo posto era assolutamente sorprendente. Le signore che la guidano sono ridicole e ci fanno sempre ridere.
In primo luogo, le camere sono molto buone per il prezzo. Abbiamo aggiornato in una stanza molto migliore dopo la nostra prima notte, gratuitamente. Si trova anche vicino ai negozi, ai caffè, ai ristoranti e alla spiaggia, mentre è ancora un po' fuori dalla strada dal ricco e dal busto.
Anche il cibo qui è davvero buono - il (compreso) colazione e quello che si può comprare per pranzo/diner è davvero fresco. A causa della barriera linguistica, hanno cercato di accogliere offrendoci più colazione “stile occidentale”, ma quando ci siamo resi conto e ci hanno chiesto di farci un secondo colazione che era come quello che tutti gli altri avevano.
Ci hanno aiutati anche con un guidatore a portarci al villaggio abbandonato e hanno prenotato i nostri biglietti a Shanghai.
Inoltre, l'aria condizionata qui è FAST e affidabile che abbiamo realizzato non è un dato dopo poche settimane in Cina. Quindi è un altro (piccolo, ma importante) più sicuramente!
Di solito mi piace esplorare posti diversi e soggiornare in alloggi diversi se/quando visitavo posti, ma probabilmente farei un'eccezione e restare qui ancora se tornassi a visitare l'isola!

XXiaopihaiLa posizione è molto conveniente. La stazione di autobus di Dawn Village è arrivata fino a cinque minuti.Sotto è la spiaggia di Dawn. Puoi vedere il mare sulla piattaforma del primo piano, e il vento del mare!

Ma non ci sono stanze momentaneamente disponibili, solo una senza bagno, ma è molto confortevole. The hotel offers a fantastic location, with many restaurants to choose from at your doorstep, along with a bar just around the corner. A shaved ice place is also just next door, so you can enjoy a dessert on the balcony.
The rooms offer a lovely view towards the sea and they are clean, modern and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and nice.
My only suggestion would be to add a mini fridge to the room, as it would have been nice to have cold refreshing water in the morning. Though the hotel does also have their own cafe, so you can get your morning coffee.
I highly recommend this hotel.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?
Overall: highly recommended!

CcommonelephantFor the cost (especially considering I bought a budget room) this is a good call, especially if your aim is to spend time exploring. It looked a bit down at heel from the outside (Goji berry island is mostly an unpretentious fishing community, not a glamorous destination, but that's part of the charm), but I was pleasantly surprised to find my room quite clean, decently spacious, everything functioning well, and a comfortable bed. Even the partial bay view was nice! Though I don't speak Chinese, the front desk staff were helpful in advising me on things like purchasing return ferry tickets, taxi prices, and restaurant recommendations. (You can try Xianmiao for seafood!) The location is also good, just at the bottom of the hill over to the Houtouwan fishing village, and quite near the island's main restaurant and market street. Breakfast was typical fare, but freshly made.
