A 50 minutes drive sees to the Nanwan Monkey Island. Guests can take a walk along the path while breathing in fresh air or spend hours in the hot spring pools, spa. They can also take a dip at the outdoor swimming pool or go out cycling.

Take all your luggage with you because there will be a shuttle cart taking you 6 km up the mountain into the resort. Once there, you will likely be eating at the only restaurant in the park. I was genuinely surprised at how good the food was and the price was very fair (for picky Hong Kong guests). Enjoyed the night adventure in the rainforest and the trek during the day. Definitely a highlight for my round the island drive of Hainan."
