"Questo hotel ha una posizione fantastica, specialmente se si arriva tardi a notte è molto vicino all'aeroporto e perfetto per il check-in subito dopo l'atterraggio.
Il servizio non è però molto simile all'hotel lungo la strada. Quando siamo arrivati la sera, il desk front aveva già chiuso per il giorno. Fortunatamente, avevano messo la chiave della nostra stanza in una casella di chiusura sicura con un codice, quindi siamo riusciti a controllare senza problemi.
Uno dei principali svantaggi è il parcheggio ci sono molto pochi parcheggi, e non abbiamo trovato un posto per tutto il tempo del nostro soggiorno.
La stanza era molto pulita, ben attrezzata e confortevole.
In generale, se non hai una macchina e sei già familiare con il modo in cui questo hotel funziona, è una grande opzione soprattutto per un breve soggiorno dopo un volo."

"First time trying out staying inside a capsule with 8 others mixed genders.
Space was a bit cramped with all the luggages however still able to manage.
Small room with lack of hanging area for my cloth thus have to use the hook to hang my towel and placed all my clothing on the bed. Basically one hook for each capsule.
Checking in was fast and easy with pre registration online once I secured the stay. Likewise for checking out. This is the only backpacker hostel with 24/7 staffs around to help thus no concerns when reaching late.
Kitchen was small and all the pigeon holes and spaces in fridge were all taken out thus again I have to put my food in the already very packed bed. Glad I’m not fat.
There is no lounge or seat to eat what you cooked thus you just gonna stood in the kitchen and finished your meal.
Not easy to find cheap lodging in Queenstown thus if you are on budget or staying in NZ for 3 months like me, then you have to just take things easy.
Toilets are huge with 3 cubicles each for bathing and WC.
Capsule with fan and light and a pull down blind to block the main lighting. Passcode security box to keep your value at base of beds.
I survived so I gonna stay in capsule hotel again since I’m going back Queenstown again as to keep my lodging expenses low."

"May 2025 stay. Non ci sono slippers e la progettazione del bagno non mi fa molto senso, ha difficili tra le porte, quindi è super freddo quando uscirò dal doccia anche quando ho già spento l'aria condizionata. Il vetro di schermo doccia non è completamente opaco che può essere terribile. Abbiamo anche chiesto un'altra pendenza 3 volte, perché abbiamo avuto un lungo soggiorno e solo la terza volta che l'abbiamo chiesto. Altrimenti, penso che la camera è accogliente. Il colazione è standard ogni giorno. La posizione è saggio per camminare verso la collina verso la zona centrale e camminare in fondo che può essere stanco.
Catturato un arcobaleno in una delle mattine durante il nostro soggiorno :)"

Noisy at night when people step on the stairs and chat with each other really loudly even though you can see the signs ”10pm-7am quiet time” everywhere.

LLandersMercure Queenstown Resort has offered very good services with great hospitality. The room given has a great view overseeing a big lake right from the middle. Livin (A name for New Zealander, I suppose) offered great hospitality for us and even treated us a VIP favour by giving an in room slipper.. thank you.. if you are lucky you can even spot a double rainbow…
Superb.. love Queenstown and Mercure Resort..
Also Accor membership is usable here.. bravo..

Three kitchens, all stocked with enough utensils and equipment to cook. However, very busy at meal times.
Also hardly any room to store food in the fridge/cupboards, possible due to the amount of long term residents resulting in severe lack of food storage room actually free.
Few toilets/showers, not enough for the amount of people staying at the accommodation.
Also very limited parking! Arrive early before other guests if you want to squeeze into a space.
Bonus was free tea/coffee.
Good location for access to Queenstown and local walks (see picture).

JJon HaseoOverall our stay in Copthrone hotel is amazing! Thank you Copthorne team! You guys are awesome! We got the family deluxe room with lake view - got 2 king beds, stayed for 6 days 5 nights. And it’s spacious! The view is stunning and loving it! There’s a gym and spa pool (need to reserve beforehand) inside the hotel! And there some parking in the hotel, you can park behind suburbs st if the car park is full. The room is warm and I really like the bed, it’s not too soft and give 2 pillows per person. Also there’s laundry service using coins, you also can change it from the reception if you do not have any cash. Toilet is nice, also have great water pressure. It would be great if they can provide utensils and plates. We did some groceries but there’s no equipment to use. Definitely will return to this hotel if I come to Queenstown again.

UUtente ospiteThe place is a bit old now but it's expected with the price, which comes with a small buffet breakfast and parking at the front. It is close to the ski resort and staff is friendly. It has ten pin bowling right next to its own restaurant if you want something to do after hours. There is also a pub just across the road if you don't want to drive back to town. If we come back to ski we'll stay there again!

MMatthew LimSwiss Belsuites was our favourite accommodation across the 9 accommodations we stayed during our holiday in New Zealand! We absolutely love how spacious the place is. Huge cooking space with a comfortable living room with a large L-shaped sofa made for many nights in to cook our own dinner, which was made even easier with the provision of two dishwashing machines and almost every cooking equipment/cutleries you may need. It is also the only accommodation where we got to enjoy using a smart TV where we could easily use our own subscription accounts (via scanning QR codes) to stream videos during our dinners. The bedroom is also really comfortable and the toilet was very clean as well. We also had our washing machine and dryer, which was really useful as we were in New Zealand for two weeks. The best part of our stay was the view of Lake Wakitipu which we could enjoy from our living room. Was such a great stay that we were so sad to check out at the end. Highly recommended!!

Queenstown Lakefront the room is clean and basic the bed comfortable l had a good sleep the room to big even had a good seating area coffee tea in the room TV had variety of choices however the bathroom that not that great they need to get rid of that bath basin I am not sure what is purpose? The shower curtain so cheap common if you charge your guests a top dollars you can afford a decent shower curtain it New Zealand not a 3rd world country. All the Wi-fi so terrible even basic email take time to download also what is deposit for if you don't have any minibar in the room? I think all those can improve a good management I had pizz one night taste good anyway this Queenstown accommodation always in short that way they don't care still a good place to crush a big hot two.

Pros
I shared a female dorm with three other women and had a great time getting to know those coming in and out. The shared bathroom was always clean (cleaned every day).
The communal kitchen is large and well-organised. You can make use of condiments that get left behind. As it was still cold, there are always fires burning both in reception and the common room. It makes the atmosphere very cosy.
The best service I got was from their information desk, which is located in the reception area. As I didn't have a credit card and businesses like Snowbiz in town don't accept cash, I was able to pay for ski passes and rental by making a booking at the service desk (they have a card machine and also accept cash).
Cons
This side of the hostel where my room was located, just experiences a lot of noise, as there are bars down below, despite the sliding door being sound-proof. Not all the reading lamps for each bed work and also need to be fixed. The shower leaked a lot of water, as the glass door doesn't properly close.
Overall though, a great stay and value for money. You do save on accommodation, as QT is an expensive town to visit.
