3x blokes, road cycling trip across Scotland. September 2023. Fantastic hotel, and exceptionally good value. Location is brilliant, lovely ride in along the marked Scottish C2C route, the hotel is right on the route so no detours. Staff excellent and friendly from start-to-finish. Checked our 3 bikes into the self-service secure storage. Enjoyed a great (well earned) 3 course dinner in the hotel restaurant, which had a great a**osphere and as mentioned, lovely staff. (There is also a great brewery tap next door if you fancy a change of scenery - we didn't manage to get further than that in the village!) Breakfast served early, first-class traditional Scottish - but plenty of other options. Unlimited coffee and juice, we were really happy. Rooms are good for the price, simple ”pub with rooms” style, remember. Everything needed for a stay of this type. It was very hot, but I still slept well. Highly recommended, we'd stay at Traquair Arms again without hesitation.

Gli hotel erano un grande servizio, fab e cibo in un ristorante grande. Solo una cosa mancata è un jacuzzi nel bagno. Il nostro viaggio è stato rovinato dalla ricezione che ci ha costretto due volte per il nostro alloggio. Già pagato via trip.com e poi è tornato a casa per scoprire l'hotel aveva anche pagato direttamente. Nonostante informare l'Hotel di questo errore il giorno di partenza, una settimana dopo e numerosi telefoni telefonici abbiamo ancora non restituito il denaro al nostro account. Di conseguenza, non rientraremo come un povero servizio post-viaggi clienti!

L'hotel è separato da Princes Street da una stazione ferroviaria Dalla finestra si possono vedere gli edifici di Princes Street e la Memorial Tower su Carlton Hill. 3. Devo dire che avevo pessime aspettative riguardo l'hotel, dato che avevo letto molte recensioni a riguardo, ma la verità è che sono rimasto sorpreso, ma nel complesso l'hotel è buono per soggiorni brevi, soddisfa le aspettative di un Hotel a 3 stelle, non so si può chiedere di più. Distanza da Princess Street circa 37 minuti a piedi POSITIVO: *Ampia stanza con armadi * televisione * Acqua calda *riscaldamento eccellente * Asciugacapelli e ferro da stiro *doppia tenda per non far entrare la luce esterna NEGATIVO: *Devi buttare la spazzatura che fai di sotto nei contenitori perché non cambiano le lenzuola o gli asciugamani, non puliscono la tua stanza durante il soggiorno. * Il bagno necessita di qualche riparazione a causa della ruggine. La potenza dell'acqua dalla toilette o dalla doccia esce con poca potenza. Allego una foto della vista che avevamo dalla finestra della nostra camera.

Mi è piaciuto molto il mio soggiorno al Hilton Carlton, il personale di ricezione è stato molto amichevole e utile. L'hotel è molto centrale per tutto nel cuore vicino al centro urbano occupato. La mia camera che ho prenotato era una camera molto spaziosa, pulita e tranquilla del re Deluxe. La mia camera da letto era una camera bagnata, molto spaziosa, non ho trovato alcuna colpa nella mia camera. Ho ordinato il colazione continentale nel mattino del personale e il buffet offerto ha dato molte scelte di buona qualità senza limiti di bevande calde, frutta fresca, yogurt, cereali, tosta, abbondanza di offerte. Usai la casella di check-out espressa mentre me ne andai la mattina, c'era una lunga coda, così tanti ospiti si sono recati fuori, così mi sono adattato per ringraziare tanto tutti i miei collaboratori.
