Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the 3-Star Tag
I recently stayed at this hotel, which is listed as a 3-star property, but the experience was far from what one would expect from such a rating. The classification is quite misleading due to several key issues:
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure felt outdated and poorly maintained. It didn’t reflect the standards of a 3-star hotel.
Staff Behavior & Service: The staff's attitude was indifferent at best. Communication was a major issue, and morning room service was practically nonexistent – no one answered the phone, and when I went downstairs, I found staff literally asleep.
Room Service & Food: We were told on the first day that room service and food would be readily available, but that turned out to be false. Orders were messed up consistently – we ordered aloo kulcha but got paneer instead, ordered kadai paneer and received something closer to mixed veg with paneer, and bizarrely, a salad came with dry red chilies instead of the expected green. The food was just okay taste-wise, but definitely not worth the prices charged.
Positives: The only good things I can point out are that the place was clean and felt safe enough for a family stay. That said, these positives do not make up for the overall lackluster and frustrating experience.
Verdict: This place seriously needs to re-evaluate its 3-star claim. With some staff training, service improvements, and honest communication, it might stand a chance—but as it stands now, I wouldn’t recommend it.
