"We had an absolutely delightful experience during our stay at this Airbnb! The owners went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. As cat lover myself, I was thrilled to be accompanied by their three adorable cats, adding an extra layer of charm to our stay.
The room was clean, neatly organized, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast prepared by the owner. What made our departure even more special was the thoughtful gesture of packing breakfast for us on the day we had to catch an early train.
The convenience of having access to drivers associated with the Airbnb made exploring nearby townships a breeze. This thoughtful amenity significantly added to the overall positive experience of our stay.
Should I find myself back in Huangshan, there is no doubt that I would choose to stay here again. This Airbnb is a top choice for anyone visiting the area. Highly recommended!"

"This B&B is our most impressive stay during 13 day trip in East China. Charming decorations, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast and most importantly, their hospitality!! Jacky is the warmest host. He did a great job in serving his guests. We felt like we are his friends rather than customers. He gave so many good advises on the Huangshan walk routing, taxi booking to Chemgkan and also good place to dinner. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night here and it rained In the early evening so not much chance to explore Tunxi as we wished."

玩市區：比如屯溪河街，黎陽老街，徽秀～約車都是十來塊錢就可以解決的事情，無論多晚都可以回來。
敲重點：這個酒店就在客運站附近，客運站可以輻射到各個景點，早起大巴車出去，下午大巴車回來，如果玩的晚點了，也可以像我們預約順風車，或者讓老闆娘幫着約車～都非常方便！
總結：以前覺得來黃山衹有宏村西娣，但是來了這個酒店入住，在老闆娘給的攻略下，好多可以玩的，可以替代的都很多！齊雲山，呈坎，西溪南，畫廊，徽秀……每一個都很美～這個酒店的便利讓我們減少了來回拖着行李的愁悶，也讓我們睡眠各方面都得到了很好的體驗！下次還會自駕過來這裏入住！"

UUtente ospiteOur stay at the J. Mountain hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. I rarely leave reviews but our 3 nights here were so stunningly exceptional that we felt driven to express our gratitude and appreciation for the stellar staff, service, and beautiful setting of this hidden gem of a hotel.
The service was without exception some of the best if not the best I have ever experienced at a hotel, and I travel often, having visited over 20 countries in the last few years alone and stayed at many beautiful and well-known five-star hotels and brands. Despite being a very young hotel (having just opened in September) J. Mountain Hotel holds its own and then some. It began months before our stay when we reached out to the hotel on WeChat to ask for guidance on equipment, tickets, and transportation. As we are visiting from America the area isn’t necessarily the easiest to access or plan for. Responses were almost immediate no matter when we reached out and always went above and beyond. For instance, my mother is nearly 70 and although very active was worried about slipping and falling while hiking in icier conditions; they offered to even purchase crampons for us should we wish although they advised us we would not need them for the time of year we were here (they were right).
While here their thoughtfulness included texting us updates on and warning us about inclement weather while we were hiking around Huang Shan (there is cell service), drying and fluffing our wet gear when we returned from a particularly wet hike, and most astounding of all resolving an incredibly stressful issue we had with an upcoming flight that had been canceled (they suggested and secured alternative means of transport to a second city and then arranged for a different flight with the airline directly).
We must specifically give our thanks to Hotel Manager Ryan, who is young but clearly extremely talented and excels in his role. He not only oversaw and proactively sought to help us on every front but was responsible for resolving our flight emergency. He also clearly had directed staff to help us to their utmost ability at all times, including having breakfast and dinner ready for and served to us at the times we requested. Ryan also personally met us and gave us a tour of the hotel and its history and design, as well as accompanied us to the art gallery and an evening tea tasting held in the gorgeous tea house on the grounds. He checked in with us every day and night and made sure everything was to our liking.
Driver Wang Kai was our personal chauffer throughout the stay and was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive; he was always there to pick us up and see us off at multiple locations throughout our trip and not once were we ever allowed to wait. He even brought us hotel slippers and large down jackets to change into out of our soaking wet gear when picking us up at the end of a hike. When we said we did not think we would need some of the gear they offer their guests, we noticed he packed it in the car just in case we changed our minds and needed them later.
I could literally go on and on but wanted to make sure I left room to appreciate how beautiful the hotel itself is and how much attention to detail has gone into its design and planning; at almost every turn we discovered something that added to the ease, enjoyment, and comfort of our stay. J. Mountain Hotel, thank you for one of the best experiences we have had in many, many years.

We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

UUtente ospiteHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

There is free shuttle to take you to the gate in the morning and the bus drops you off right across the street when you come down the mountain. Room was comfortable, clean, with all the amenities you need. Above all, the service was amazing--one of the best during my month-long trip in China. The manager treated us like family and was very accommodating even though we arrived pretty late at 11pm. He invited us to eat at their kitchen and took time to create a personalized hiking itinerary. Dinner and the breakfast buffet was delicious. After we came down the mountain, we also went for a leg and foot massage which was much needed after so many stairs! Great hotel with amazing service--will come back next time.

JJia En JoyLoved the traditional and modern feel of the hotel. Service was impeccable, and they even upgraded our rooms so that our rooms were side by side. Sadly, it rained the whole time we were there, and the kids did not manage to use the pool.
Convenient location with lots of eateries nearby and Tunxi Old Street was about 10 mins walk away.
