Although the hotel wasn't right next to the gate for the mountain, the owner gave us a lift there, and back, when we returned. He also picked us up from the bus station on the first evening when we arrived and organized cheap transport for us when we were leaving for the train station. This hospitality and care was a constant throughout our stay. The room was lovely and warm, with a large projector screen and comfortable bed and sofa. The food in the hotel was a beautiful, using lots of fresh ingredients. We ate here several times for both lunch and dinner. Lastly, the hosts were full of useful information which enhanced our stay. Had a great time here and would definitely visit again!

Ehrlich gesagt schreibe ich normalerweise kaum Bewertungen. Aber unser Aufenthalt am Fuße des Huangshan, gemeinsam mit meiner Familie (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder), hat mich wirklich begeistert. Der Besitzer ist ein Einheimischer. Bei unserer Ankunft hatte ich keinerlei Vorstellung, wie man den Huangshan am besten erkundet. Er holte eine detaillierte Karte hervor, erklärte uns sehr geduldig die ideale Reiseroute und half sogar bei der Online-Buchung von Eintritts- und Seilbahntickets. Am nächsten Tag stellte er uns zusätzlich noch Wanderstöcke zur Verfügung – die waren beim Auf- und Abstieg wirklich sehr hilfreich. Schon allein diese durchdachten Extras machten den Aufenthalt für mich lohnenswert, ganz unabhängig vom Zimmer. Das Zimmer entsprach den Fotos: im schlichten, ländlich geprägten Stil, mit viel Holz und umweltfreundlichen Materialien. Dadurch schliefen wir sehr gut. Besonders schön war es, am Morgen das Fenster zu öffnen und die Bambushaine vor dem Haus im sanften Wind rauschen zu sehen – ein echtes Urlaubsgefühl. Außerdem wurden täglich Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt, was sehr angenehm war. Neben der Unterkunft bietet der Gastgeber auch Verpflegung an. Das Frühstück war im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen; wir bestellten zusätzlich eine Nudelsuppe mit Tomaten und Ei – sehr zu empfehlen. Am Abend, nach unserer Rückkehr vom Huangshan, haben wir ein Abendessen gebucht (kostenpflicht): das lokale Freilandhuhn sowie Bambussprossen mit Räucherspeck waren köstlich.
