We had an awesome stay at Waterland Lodge - our children loved being outside, loved the playground, the pool. Grant and his team really did a great job - perfect hosts! Outstanding breakfast and nature everywhere around - a little paradise. Thank you!

A nice location in a green environment. !5 minutes from the seaside. Excellent location to visit Capetown an Cape the Good hope. Very nice breakfast. Although there are 6 dogs scrolling around, they do not do any harm. Swimming poul with towels, nice playground for children.

Loved staying here. Beautiful spot ..quiet and serene..home away from.home. Rooms were clean..beds so comfortable. Kitchen well.equipped and milk, tea and coffee provided. Great value for.money. can recommend!

We had a very nice stay at Waterland Lodge. We had a double room and this was more than adequate. The delivered breakfast in a picnic basket in the mornings, was a treat and had more than enough food for two people. The garden area with pond is also a nice touch. The dogs on the property were all very friendly. a Few squirrels also came to visit. Overall it was money well spent.

Unbelievably tranquil and serene environment. River can be heard from the room which is so soothing. Wish i could have stayed longer than one night. The room was perfect too, could not have asked for better!

Perfect. It was tranquil. Exquisitely beautiful gardens. Loved the dogs. It was absolutely 100% what i needed to restore during the strenuous few months preceding. Would refer them anytime and go back there if ever I'm in CT again!

The Waterland Lodge is a brilliant place to stay. We spent only one night in February but wished we could have stayed longer. The garden and pool area are beautiful, the apartments are very well equipt with everything you need and the breakfast was fantastic. The owner Silvia is a very friendly and kind person. My younger daughter left her mobile phone in the room, and we only found out when we arrived at the airport at the departure. Our daughter was devastated when she realized that she had lost her phone, but Silvia saved the day by finding the phone and mailing it to us. Thank you, Silvia. Our daughter was so happy to get the phone back.

For a quiet and peaceful spot this location was ideal, it gave us the feeling of being in a country side of the city, surrounded by woods, tiny waterfall, huge play field etc. In all, the stay matched our expectations

Great friendly hosts, and a wonderful property for you to relax. Just off the main road, close to the Constantia vineyards (and don't miss to have lunch or dinner at La Colombe just up the hill-world class. A quiet location, small stream and waterfall just at the edge gives a nice framing. Only small thing is I found the bed a bit hard - but that is how some people like it, so more of a personal preference. Very nice breakfast basket, would definitely like to come back. Waterland offers more than expected. The view on the garden from our cottage was stunning. Silvia and Grant are very helpful and attentive. The breakfast, served in a picnic-basket is highly recommended!

The owners are the most welcoming people. Everyday a basket full with delicious breakfast was left at our terrace. The cottage was spacious and clean. They were very thoughtful and even brought us a box full of toys for our boys. Great way to start our SA vacation.

We loved the property . It has beautiful lush gardens and it is pet friendly. The unit was very clean and comfortable had every amenity possible and we received a lovely continental breakfast delivered to our patio in a picnic basket. The hosts are super friendly and helpful too.

Just had my second stay at Waterland. Love this place! Location is excellent, setting is stunning, accommodation is perfect and breakfast is awesome. Grant, Sylvia and team are great hosts. We will be back.

Great place to stay as a family with kids. The weather was bad but we loved the garden and the dogs and the location in houtbay. Wow The master bed is a little bit too hard for us. But even with stormy wind we have good nights of sleep
