This was our second time to stay at the St. Regis. We had a wonderful time on our first trip, which is why we decided to go back. However, this time we woke up to four bed bugs crawling on top of us (room 1221). Upon killing the bed bugs, blood stains were left on the sheets. Prior to leaving the room, we were able to take a video of another bed bug still alive and crawling on the sheets. We immediately informed the front desk, who assured us they would have a third party investigate the situation, and I would be contacted within three days. Nearly a week later, I still had not heard from the St. Regis, so I called to check on the status. I was informed the third party investigation came back negative and there were no signs of bed bugs on the sheets or in the room (despite leaving behind four dead bed bugs and one live one when we left the room, as well as photo and video proof). I asked for a copy of the report but was told they would not accommodate my request. While I am disappointed with my experience, I am even more disappointed with the St. Regis and their response to the situation.
