Awesome location for a night out

Thank you so much Brian for being the star!!! I left my husband cell phone at front desk by mistake at 3 am.. we are from Canada and it was so stressful realizing in the Airport that we left it.. I called front desk and Brian was amazing to bring the phone to ups and ship it for me .. I don’t have words .. unbelievable service .. he is a truly Marriott sample of customer service 🩷thank you so much and god bless you..

I absolutely love this hotel! The vibe and staff is amazing. Brandon Nina and Daniel go out there way for their guest. Always clean and fun themed rooms! If you’re looking for a fun friendly convenient close to everything then this is the hotel for you.

This was my first time ever staying at Moxy! And I loved EVERYTHING about it! The hotel was so hip and fun!!! I drove from Dallas to hang out with my friend for her birthday I really enjoyed myself! Daniel, Brian, & Brandon welcomed me and made me feel right at home during my check in! My room was beautiful & clean, and they gave me a high floor with a view of the city. I will definitely come back just to stay next time I go back to Houston the location was perfect!

There’s so much good to say about this place! This place is a petite venue full of vibrant vibes! Right in downtown with proximity to nice restaurants and bars. Hotel location is APT! There’s just right enough things to do, starting with the neon lights at the entrance to being greeted by Brian the Barista - was delighted to have his world famous The Brian coffee, just perfect at any time of the day! He explained about the history of this building and showed us around. Lobby area, elevators, hallways and room were all clean and neat. It always felt fresh, be it any time of the day. I loved how they have a nice touch of welcoming on the mirrors of elevator and vanity. Was there with 2 other friends of mine and we had such a comfortable stay. Honestly, it was my first time at a Moxy but I must say the people here are GEM! Nelly, the housekeeping manager was sooo lovely, she was super friendly and made sure all our requests were answered in time. Love her, would definitely be back to experience this kind of hospitality. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and best! I was back in Houston after a year and she made it feel like home here. They restocked their shelf everyday by the elevator to make sure extra towels were there when required. The rooms were well lit, the gym was good enough and their pretty M lounge was perfect for work. It’s been a while since I have seen such clean rooms, housekeeping was top notch! Thanks to Mirna for all the tidy work. Met the GM by the lobby area, was such a nice gentleman! Overall 10 on 10. Not to forget, Ramon the public area attendant was always seen doing his job dedicatedly with all his efforts in and a ever green smile on his face. Valet was kind enough to help with bags! Preserve these gems! Missed the party by the bar but we will definitely be back the next time we are Houston. Thanks Moxy was this amazing stay!!! Thanks Nelly and team!

Sydney made my trip. Talk about the best bartender that makes you feel like a friend. The place in itself is welcoming, so fun, atmosphere is amazing. But. Try the mezcal old fashion from her. You’re welcome. It’s a must try when you come visit.

We were here for my niece's sweet 16, so we knew what we were in for picking a 'party' hotel. The service, rooms, hotel location, vibe, amenities (ear plug, white noise, streaming tv, etc) was PERFECT! I want to give a shout out to Sondra, who was AMAZING and made our check in and sweet 16th celebration special. Thank you Sondra! The ONLY reason I give a 4 star is that the day we were departing, I went to take a shower and what was looking at me from the soap dish of my shower... a water bug, just waiving it's antennas to say hello. When I say waterbug, I'm talking about a 1.5 inch 'roach' thing. They did send housekeeping up to get rid of it (he arrived with a plunger, not sure he know what he was there for). Also, the bar staff on Sat night was not the friendliest, but still had a great time. I did give extra points for having a Walking Taco on the menu - Nacho Dorito style. Marriott Titanium Bonvoy notes: Accommodated a quieter room on the back side (still is loud, but if you are a hard sleeper you'll be ok), accommodated a late check out, had complementary drink per day. Room 1211, while on the 12th floor and in the back has 1 window view to the stairwell in the back of the building. This could be beneficial for escape in a fire, but odd otherwise.

We stayed here when visiting to see a Astros game on a Saturday night. Booked this because of the location to Minute Maid Park. Got back to the hotel around 9pm. In the lobby was a DJ. We actually sat for a few mins and enjoyed it. We went up to our room for the night - located on the 2nd floor. As I type this, it’s close to 2am and the music is so loud I cannot sleep. It’s like I’m right next to a concert going on. It’s absurd that I have paid to stay here. I’ve NEVER had this experience at a hotel. I messaged them on the chat via the app and the said that the music may die down around 2 am. Like really? WTH is this - a hotel or what? Wow. If this was how it was, I wish they would’ve put me on a different floor. But tbh, I don’t know how any room in this place would be quiet with how loud this is! DO NOT STAY HERE.

Rooms were cozy and cute. Lynn and Daniel at the front desk/bar were great. Love the various happy hours and warm welcome. Snacks at the bar were amazing too!! Will definitely be coming back for all my downtown Houston visits. Super convenient to Toyota center for concerts and Main Street is right next door for night life.
