The Grecotel Blu in Mykonos is a beautiful hotel where it’s worth spending your holidays or - as we did - to enjoy your honeymoon. EVERYONE Wirkung in this hotel (from the cleaning Laders to the Managers ) is super friendly. We were very happy and impressed! Our special thanks go to Costa, the beach manager, and to Panos and Vasili, who served us at the hotel bar. Especially Costa, the manager at the beach, made us wonderful times every day. Very professionell, very friendly at all times - really perfect. Thank you all! We definitely recommend this wonderful hotel. Very nice people, nice hotel, perfect beach and good food- in the hotel and nearby restaurants (e.g. Nikos Gallop which is on the other side of the street, other restaurants and bars are a small walk away (8 min). The location and hotel are fantastic, a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The pool is very nice and service at pool is outstanding as well as breakfast. I am only giving 3 stars as the Managment and front desk fail to understand a customer’s complaints and argue there points. We had dinner our first night in there Fine dining restaurant, 2 hours after our salad our main course came. I returned mine as lost appetite. They offered complementary desserts but should have offered N/C for the meal. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and they said the manager told them 25 min delay, there were 4 of us that disputed but instead of accepting responsibility fluffed it off,. Again at checkout reiterated our complaint and no accommodation on the charge. 2nd we booked a tour to Delos from the hotel 80E each including transport to the dock for ferry. We asked if local bus goes to dock by little Vince and was advised it’s a different dock. In reality the tour transit 20 E each dropped us off on the other side of the dock with a long walk, if anyone is handicapped or has walking issues forget it. The local bus 2E lets you off near ferry a short walk but the staff didn’t advise option. We returned and asked them why you did not advise us the option and there response was the local bus is sometimes delayed( ride is 25min) but we should have the option and can plan to be there in advance as plenty of time to walk around . We are Not thrifty travelers but also don’t liked being ripped off. Bottom line the property , pool, location are very good but for the prices charged I cannot provide a better raising. FYI I travel internationally for business and vacation and if by myself would have checked out after the 1st night based on our treatment at dinner and there response Sorry Ambassador but facts are facts

Personale estremamente scortese e superbo. Non ci viene chiesto neanche quale lettino vogliamo e veniamo subito relegati in ultima fila alla modica cifra di 120 euro. Ombrellone tutto rotto ed instabile tenuto su con una corda legata a mano. Lettini e tavolino totalmente usurati e vecchi (una pittatina prima dell'estate no?). Menù con prezzi alti e cibo pessimo. Impossibilità di accedere alla piscina dell'area ”vip”. Musica petulante e noiosa, sempre lo stesso genere. Zero dj set (che per queste cifre è grave). Insomma il problema non è economico ma che per quello che paghi è vergognoso. Passeggiando siamo andati al lido affianco dove c'erano molti più giovani, il personale era gentile, si mangiava bene, vi era una piscina molto più grande dove potevano andare tutti, c'era un dj set interessante e tutti ballavano in piscina. Scopriamo con orrore che tutto questo lo potevamo avere a soli 30 euro 2 lettini ed un ombrellone e i lettini erano pure molto più grandi, belli ed imbottiti. Ho pagato il quadruplo per avere un quarto dei servizi e della gentilezza....NON ANDATECI

Ho soggiornato dal 21 al 28 Agosto 2020 presso questo Hotel ubicato a circa 200 metri dalla splendida spiaggia di Platis Gialos che dista circa 4 Km da Mykonos Town (Chora) raggiungibile tramite un comodo Bus al costo di 1,8 euro a tratta. La struttura è molto bella con vista su parte della baia e del mare. Colazione a buffet (servita causa covid) buona sia per la varietà di dolce che salato. Cortesi le cameriere che purtroppo in numero insufficiente non riuscivano ad evitare lunghe code dalle 9 alle 11. La camera da me prenotata non corrispondeva a quella descritta sul sito e per tale motivo ho protestato chiedendo un cambio camera che non mi è stato concesso (premetto che ho prenotato pagando l'intera quota 2 mesi prima del soggiorno una quadrupla per 7 giorni in alta stagione in pieno periodo covid e quindi rischiando di perdere tutti i soldi se non fossi riuscito a partire, ma si vede che non hanno tenuto conto di questo mio rischio). La camera vista mare con balcone al primo piano era ben attrezzata, migliorabile la pulizia di alcune suppellettili tipo le spalliere dei letti (in stoffa e non in pelle e quindi difficilmemte lavabili ed igienizzabili da parte della pur volenterosa cameriera). Frigobar piccolo e vuoto (non abbiamo neanche trovato una bottiglia d'acqua all'arrivo che di solito è un dono cortese visto il gran caldo di Agosto). Nelle vicinanze (uscendo dall'albergo a sinistra lungo la discesa che porta al mare) un minimarket fornito di generi di prima necessità. La spiaggia attrezzata ed inclusa nel prezzo è in condivisione con l'Hotel Acrogiali e pertanto visto lo scarso numero dei lettini ed ombrelloni è praticamente impossibile usufruirne a meno che non si scelga di svegliarsi alle 6 del mattino e scendere in spiaggia per occupare i lettini con i teli forniti (se arrivate alle 7 e 30 già non trovate nulla di libero). Sul lungomare (praticamente sulla spiaggia) numerosi ristoranti e bar tutti di ottimo livello e puliti (io vi consiglio il ristorante dell'Hotel Petino per il miglior rapporto qualità prezzo). In conclusione Hotel consigliabile ma migliorabile negli aspetti evidenziati.

An amazing hotel, joanna and maria helped us a lot. When we arrived at the hotel we git a welcime drink. Everyday clean beach towels, the room was very clean and everything was refilled each day. The front office manager Hamal also superb guy, very nice and extremely helpfull. The staff on the beach very friendly and working very hard everyday but with the biggest smile. The shrimp saganaki in the beach restaurant best one i ate the whole week. We are definitly coming back next year i am already planning :) Thank you Mykonos Dove for everything.

Lovely hotel and location. Clean and spacious with garden or water views. Enjoy lunch poolside while watching the superyachts. Convenient that bus is across from entrance and stores/restaurants right on the water so you don’t have to be in Mykonos Town but it’s easy to get back and forth. Use the beach access for a quick dip or grab the water taxi to Paradise and other beaches. Helpful staff. Shout out to front desk (kind lady from Siberia, sorry I lost the note with your name!) and Maria in the restaurant.
