We had a wonderful stay at Dishang Resort in Wuzhen, and here are some highlights from my experience:
Location: The resort is conveniently situated inside the West Gate Scenic Spot, allowing guests to explore the area freely, even after it closes to the public. The view is stunning—peaceful and filled with a serene atmosphere.
Check-in: The check-in counter is located right at the entrance to the West Gate Scenic Spot, with the entrance fee included for resort guests. The added perk is that you’re allowed multiple entries and exits throughout your stay.
Buggy Service: A buggy service is available for guests, making it easy to travel around the scenic spot and explore its many sights without much hassle.
Room: Our room was very spacious, and we were fortunate to be upgraded to the Family Room during check-in. The living area between the two rooms was especially comfortable, and both bathrooms were large, with a bathtub. The only downside was that the toilet seat wasn’t heated, which would have been a nice touch.
Breakfast: The buffet breakfast offered a decent variety, including many local dishes. It was a good way to start the day, though it wasn’t extraordinary.
Service: The reception staff were excellent—very helpful and informative. When we arrived, most restaurants within the scenic spot were closed, but the receptionist kindly suggested a few places for lunch, which was greatly appreciated since we were starving.
Overall Experience: Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again in the future!

Dobbiamo spegnere tutte le luci nella zona del bagno per essere il più luminosi possibile.
Il lato opposto a sinistra dell'hotel c'è un negozio di snacks simili, con uova involucri in salsa, verdure e una caccia alla tartaruga, molto deliziosa.

Non c'è niente di particolare di fantasia su questo soggiorno a casa, ma ciò che è stato davvero esposto è l'ospitalità eccezionale. UUtente ospiteIt was our wedding anniversary so we wanted to have a cozy trip to a town we had not been to. Did some research and found Wuzhen and decided on Wuzhen Clubhouse.
We knew the pricing would be higher to be inside the visitor zone so it was mainly to take advantage of the location of the hotel.
For the price, it is basic and aged. The room is exactly as you see in photos for the listing. Because the hotel is in a historical building, there is no lift if you stay in a second floor unit.
With a stay inside the visitor area, you can normally have unlimited access to go in and out of the area, whereas if you stay outside then you are limited to the number of access. You can also remember to call and buggy to take you longer distances from the hotel and from certain spots; they just ask you to show proof of stay like your hotel key card. Otherwise you pay per ride at 10 RMB which is not cost efficient.
It’s quite humid and rainy for most of the year so since it’s stone and wood construction, it is vulnerable to be run down easily.
Since we visited in October, it was cool and slightly rainy but the temperature in the room was pleasant with the windows open or with the air conditioning on. I imagine it could get quite hot in summer so this is something to keep in mind.
Breakfast is either in the hotel or you receive a voucher to a breakfast spot in the town. It’s a very full breakfast either Chinese style or western.
The staff are friendly and patient. This is the highlight of the hotel.
When you arrive in the visitor center, you can confirm your check in and your luggage is transported directly to your hotel. And when you depart, the same process in reverse is arranged for you.
We then called a Didi car to leave and the driver picked us up outside of the visitor Centre. You can take a regular yellow taxi in the line in the same area. The price is only slightly higher when you call a car but the car can be much nicer so I think it’s worth the 20 RMB extra to go to the high speed rail station (to go back to Shanghai).
As I said, the price is high for what you get at this location so do some homework and make sure you know what you are looking for.

ZZhulintinghaideshiguang服務：在來前就有管家小左打電話聯繫，在到景區好後小左來景區大門接，一路幫忙提行李到酒店，到酒店後先引導到休息室，熱茶熱毛巾都已經提前準備好了，小左服務很熱情。
到酒店後酒店的小鄧熱心幫忙去辦理入住，還拿出地圖熱心指導景區內怎麼進行遊玩路線，幫忙提箱子，驚喜的給升級房間，因為帶着寶寶，還貼心的給床加了床圍，防止了寶寶晚上睡覺翻落的風險。服務非常到位
第二天早上去餐廳吃早飯，正好撞到一兩個旅行團在就餐，餐廳座位比較緊張，酒店立馬安排到二樓就座，因為帶小孩，餐廳也給安排一個服務員跟着幫忙端早飯，還説如果需要什麼跟他説一聲，他去幫忙取，當時已經落座，就沒好意思讓服務員幫忙在取了😀但是真的服務特別到位，也詳細介紹了餐品，體驗感拉滿
衞生：衞生做的也很乾凈，在房間裏不小心把水打翻了，跟管家聯繫立馬就有保潔來清掃
環境整個酒店環境非常好，安靜，空間大，內部就有一個私家園林，帶寶寶去的第一天在酒店都玩了一會
雙人西柵景區門票:這個都老生常談了，帶小孩非常方便，兩天內隨意進出，不過這次我主要都是在西山景區，用的不多
雙人拼船遊體驗:小孩第一次做搖船，很驚喜
乘西柵景區遊覽車:很方便，玩累了，直接就回去睡覺了，不過有一點不太方便應該是分北線和南線，正好在南邊的話，去北線的酒店不太方便
總體來説入住體驗滿分，比上次自己來玩時住的民宿好太多，下次等小孩大一點後還會繼續來住

UUtente ospite這個酒店真的是沒話説，真的很棒。性價比特別高。一進酒店就有人員上前指引，前台辦理入住迅速，態度熱情，細心提醒與旅行團錯開洗浴用水高峯期，還給孩子送了小玩偶。酒店9點至11點還有夜宵粥，房間安靜整潔，乾淨衞生，很難得還設定了衣帽間，超大浴缸，孩子泡澡玩水玩的超級開心，早餐自助餐食物品類非常豐富。酒店二樓還設有小童樂園，小孩玩得捨不得離開。去烏鎮景區打車出行也很方便，很少給住過的酒店留評論，這個真的是非常棒，強烈推薦

KKazzy travelerInspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath.
There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty).
Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb.
The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet.
Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.)
Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.)
There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

So pleasant and sweet, thank you for not dismissing me with ‘you can find the information if you just scan our WeChat!’ The room provided was gorgeous and Wuzhen Tong’an inn is huge. It was really nice to wake up amidst the sounds of washing dishes over lapping water. Wonton shop opposite the room over the canal. The water canals do not smell, and air was crisp (until the day-visitors arrive and they mostly smoke). Love the mahjong rooms that stick out over the water. This inn is situated close to the entrance of Xizha (West Scenic Area) and we were so charmed we never made it to Dongzha (east area). If you need reentry to xizha within 24hrs, scan your face at the hotel reception before exiting xizha. Their in-house restaurant was delicious! Also would suggest a very early morning walk (30min before sunrise), come back for the hotel breakfast, then head out again for morning market (早茶客). There is a family mart about 100m away if you need anything in the middle of the night.
Wuzhen xizha is made of 2 long parallel sides flanking the canal. The side where tongan inn is on is a straight path, so do stay on Tongan inn side if you prefer flat grounds and need to get somewhere further quickly. The opposite side has more bridges to climb but is very pretty and has more corners to explore. If you are with elderly, this side is not recommended because of the climbing. The bridges also do not have railings and are always congested once the night crowd arrives close to sunset. But amazingly nobody fell into the river as far as I noticed.
The crowds are really insane at night. The best time to enjoy xizha are really reserved for hotel guests staying inside xizha from closing time to before opening time. Wuzhen was great thanks to our accomodation. Highly recommended.

XXiaqiL'hotel è ben arredato e pulito, l'acqua del bagno è molto confortevole, la camera è grande e la vista sull'acqua fuori dalla finestra è fantastica. Effettuate prima il check-in presso il centro servizi turistici e poi prendete il bus navetta per l'hotel. Un maggiordomo vi verrà a prendere alla porta. La reception richiederà la tessera della camera e il riconoscimento facciale e poi vi accompagnerà in camera. L'hotel si trova all'ultima fermata del bus navetta, nella parte più interna della zona panoramica, quindi è molto comodo prendere l'autobus. Di notte è molto tranquillo e l'isolamento acustico è buono. La colazione è molto ricca. Se volete fare colazione con vista sul lago potete prenotare. Al mattino puoi vedere il Wuzhen deserto.

UUtente anonimoThough located at the quieter part of Xiza Wuzhen, we like the peacefulness and calm at night. The luggages were transported to the hotel after check-in at the main tourist centre.
We explored in the day before picking up the luggages at the lobby at night.
The hotel's breakfast was at ZhenShui hotel 100m away. It was a great breakfast with a variety of food. I think it is better to eat there than at the popular ZaoChaKe where you can pay on your own to try the traditional breakfast just for experience.
Overall, nice stay, warm hospitality.

UUtente ospiteIl nostro soggiorno al Wuzhen Tong’an Inn non era niente di meno delizioso. Questa recensione è specificamente per Wuzhen Tong’an Inn, non il Waterside Resort. Siamo stati fortunati a trovare una donna utile al centro visitatori che ci ha informato che la nostra prenotazione originale non si trovava di fronte al grande canale Wuzhen, ma al loro piccolo canale privato, che non offrirebbe vista sulle vecchie barche. Ci ha aiutati con un aggiornamento al Tong’an Inn, che ha fornito non solo una bella scena, ma anche una posizione di prima qualità proprio al cuore di tutti gli eventi.
Tutti gli ospiti di Wuzhen vanno a un posto per il buffet di colazione, che è stato convenientemente situato nel nostro hotel, un vantaggio significativo, poiché la prenotazione originale avrebbe richiesto un cammino di 20 minuti, soprattutto inconveniente in pioggia e freddo.
La nostra stanza era una miscela di stile cinese antico, con legno odore e un quartiere moderno, completo con doccia calda e dispositivi intelligenti, che era impecabilmente pulita, offrendo un perfetto equilibrio tra fascino tradizionale e conforto contemporaneo.
Tutti a Wuzhen erano incredibilmente amici. Scriveva al signor Ling, che ci ha aiutati con le nostre valigie pesanti. Era cortese, professionale e estremamente utile. Noi vorremmo certamente rimanere più a lungo in futuro.

UUtente ospitePioveva forte quando sono arrivato ieri e ho potuto apprezzare i cerchi rotondi di Jiangnan ~ Il giovane e la giovane donna alla reception del be & be sono stati davvero gentili e mi hanno aiutato a fare il check-in e a portarli in camera. Sono davvero soddisfatta, l'interno è caldo e pulito, la cura del negozio si vede in ogni cosa, anche gli articoli usa e getta sono così squisiti che non vorrai più usarli! I bambini dormono in mansarda e gli adulti dormono al primo piano senza disturbarsi a vicenda.Il letto grande e la grande vasca da bagno fanno davvero dimenticare in un attimo la fatica del viaggio! Aprendo le tende e guardando attraverso le grandi vetrate a tutta altezza si può vedere una vasta distesa di verde: che gioia! Super consigliato! 👍
