Romantik Hotel Schwan

Stayed while visiting family nearby based on their recommendation and it was spot on. Hotel is in a nice setting and comfortable with a very good breakfast. Staff were all friendly and great hosts. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for local stays and easy access to Zurich, with the station an easy walk

What a lovely little hotel in a great and generally quiet location. We arrived late so our room keys had been laid out on the small reception desk. My room was a decent size, with desk and armchair. The bathroom was compact, but nicely decorated and the shower was good. The continental breakfast was lovely, great pastries, breads and a nice cheese and meats selection and smoked salmon. If had one slight complaint, it’s an old building and the floors above me did squeak a fair bit… but it wasn’t enough to stop me from staying here again.

A perfect stay in a really good hotel. Lovely comfortable bed and linen, immaculate room. Decent hairdryer. Very friendly staff. Breakfast well presented and freshly baked pastry. Really easy walk from both bus/rail station. We can both really recommend.

Had a fantastic stay in the family suite at the Schwan hotel in Horgen. It was large enough to accommodate us and our 3 children and even had a single room which was ideal for our older daughter. The staff are brilliant, absolutely everyone from the front desk to the kitchen to the cleaners was polite and welcoming. The restaurant was a very nice surprise in this hotel. The food is delicious and we didn’t feel like it was a compromise to eat dinner or lunch at the hotel. The chefs certainly take pride in their work at the Schwan. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families looking for a place to stay along the silver coast on Lake Zurich. It felt more like a home than a hotel - thank you for a wonderful stay.

3 nachten in hotel Schwan verbleven. Is familiehotel maar wij hebben op geen enkel moment iemand gezien. Er is niemand aan de receptie voor de ontvangst (sleutels liggen klaar in envelop) en inchecken moet je digitaal zelf doen. Er is 1 ontbijt dame maar die spreekt je niet aan en weet van niets. Op die 3 dagen heeft er nooit iemand aan de balie gezeten of was er iemand beschikbaar om iets aan te vragen. ZEER onpersoonlijk hotel. Bij uitchecken had ik mijn telefoonlader vergeten. Gemaild naar hotel met vraag om deze klaar te leggen zodat zoon hem komen uithalen. Kreeg enkel een algemeen nietszeggend antwoord maar wel met de vraag om een positieve review achter te laten op booking, dus geen antwoord op de vraag om de lader aan de balie klaar te leggen. Zoon 2 dagen later persoonlijk naar hotel gegaan maar in heel hotel was er niemand te vinden. 2 dagen nadien telefonisch contact gehad met een persoon met de vraag om de lader klaar te leggen, maar deze persoon wist van niets en kon ook geen boodschap aan eigenaar doorgeven, op zijn minst bizar. Zoon 2de maal naar hotel geweest en weer niemand te vinden in heel hotel. Tenslotte voor 3de maal naar hotel gegaan en weer NIEMAND gevonden. Nogmaals telefonisch contact gehad en ditmaal wist diezelfde persoon te zeggen dat er niets gevonden was. Heel bizar in zo'n kleinschalig hotel. Ik raad iedereen af naar dit hotel te gaan en er is ondertussen een nieuw hotel opengegaan in Horgen, The Yarn. Reeds 1 nacht verbleven en een verademing ten opzichte van hotel Schwan.

Grosse Empfehlung! Das Personal ist äusserst zuvorkommend, freundlich und aufgestellt. Sehr angenehme & gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend zu einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir haben selten so tolles Personal angetroffen! Ausserdem hatten wir unseren Hund dabei. Im Voraus wurden schon Hundebett & Wasser bereitgestellt. Als wir ankamen, wurde der Hund herzlich begrüsst & bekam immer wieder Streicheleinheiten & Leckerlis vom Personal. Also auch eine Empfehlung an alle Hundehalter. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.
