H1 Hotel

Like what many have reviewed, H1 hotel is a very strategic location. There are many eateries nearby, the congee stall is a must try. It is also near exit C3 and C4 of Mongkok MTR Station. There is a shopping mall (Langham plaza) just a street away. There is also a wet market behind the hotel that sells very fresh fruits and vegetables (opens 8am- about 7pm daily). You can get your dried goods (e.g. sea cucumber, mushrooms, etc) from there as well. Walkable to many locations in Mongkok like the ladies market. There are also many city buses you can take at the bus stop near the hotel. We didn't take buses as we mostly travelled by MTR. As for the hotel itself, like many have also mentioned, the TV and WiFi does not work. So do be prepared to standby more roaming data if you're planning to stay here. Its a pity we can't watch any channels from the TV (probably bad antenna), but you can probably screen mirror from your devices if you've a HDMI cable. It does not matter much to us as we're mostly out and only back late night. Housekeeping is done every 2 days but on days that there's no housekeeping you can request for new sets of towels or other amenities at the front desk and they'll send it to your room. Soundproofing is not the greatest as well, you can hear people talking along the hallway and doors closing. But it does not matter much to us. The streets are quiet at night so we had a great sleep for the 5 nights we were there. Staffs are not always smiling but they are helpful and friendly if you're polite to them. Overall, will recommend this hotel for its price, cleanliness and strategic location if you're just planning to stay for a couple of nights.

Room size very small and no water provide is acceptable due to the cheap price of hotel. But housekeeping and room clean not very day which didn't inform guess before (but i think it is one of the fundamental hotel should have) Hotel facility is bad e.g. air condition can't control which is too cold and hotel manage by ask us to close, then it is no circulation in room, i need to switch on and off the air condition hourly. Wifi signal available but with "no internet". When i ask hotel they said it like this. I can use one out of 4 nights i stayed. Television can't open at all. Hotel said it lock TV for the whole building with no reason. I think when travel we just need only fundamental things provided. e.g. location, cleanliness, wifi,

There is a one of good hotel. Big area room but they don’t give us real towel and don’t have a bottom of water in the room. If you are not seriously about them all good to stay.

Love the location room space and cleanliness!!:)) Just don’t have amenities and bring your own, but that’s ok for us because we read the review and learn from it! Very friendly staff at counter lady was super helpful :)
