The Putman Hong Kong

Had a wonderful time at the Putman. There are a lot of restaurants in the vicinity although the hotel itself is not easy to locate because it does not have a big sign at the door. There was no one at the reception - had to buzz the bell several times to get in, which is a little inconvenient. Cathy at check-in was great though and gave me a detailed room tour. I requested extra pillows and duvets and towels - everything was there. The room is spacious and bright will full-length windows, a kitchen, a huge bathtub, rain shower, coffee machine, blinds and lights that are remote-controlled (would appreciate a bedside control panel rather than wall control panel). Some windows that can open (a little) etc. The only problems were that the knobs in the tub and shower are quite slippery and thus hard to get a hold of when wet; would also appreciate it if the bathroom and toilet doors aren't made of glass (for added privacy). Also, there was not enough shower gel in the bottles. Unfortunately, we only spent a night there and had no chance to cook. Overall, had a great time.

we checked in at late night and the service was nice and friendly. The room was nice as descripted in the booking. Water filtering machine was provided for drinking water. The toiletries were sufficient. The room was well equipped and it would be great if we could do cooking. but tableware might be self-prepared.

While staff are always helpful and nice, the quality of the rooms seems to have deteriorated since my previous stay: 1) Toilet roller blinds were spoilt, and outsiders could see the shower room/toilet. 2) Safety box again was not working. 3) Aircon was not functioning too, extremely loud. 4) strange that hotel didn’t provide coffee/tea though they provide 2 tea cups (without spoons), 1 whiskey glass and a water cup.

Very well located, small but clean and bright room, friendly staff

The suite is spacious. Even includes washing machine and kitchen.
