Posizione comoda vicino alla metro, modesto ma ok per trascorrere pochi giorni!

Abbiamo soggiornato in tenda per tre notti. All'arrivo ci hanno contattato tramite SMS, dato che non ci sarebbe stato nessuno ad accoglierci. Abbiamo dovuto rifare i letti da soli. Non eravamo sicuri che il bagno fosse stato pulito durante il nostro soggiorno. I lavandini erano sporchi e incrostati. Alcune cose positive: la cucina è completamente attrezzata con utensili e tutto il necessario per cucinare. La sala comune è essenziale, ma carina. C'è una TV a disposizione. All'esterno ci sono griglie per barbecue e molti posti a sedere. La posizione è bella e appartata, ed è anche il posto perfetto per fare escursioni sul Lantau Peak Trail. Buono a sapersi: il villaggio e tutti i negozi chiudono intorno alle 17:30. Assicuratevi di fare la spesa in anticipo o di comprare qualcosa prima che sia troppo tardi.

Tung Chung - 2 notti - camera doppia privata Aspettative/Realtà: questo è l'unico fornitore di alloggi in zona, quindi le aspettative devono essere gestite. Hanno la possibilità di stabilire le condizioni, quindi le recensioni negative qui provengono probabilmente da persone che non hanno letto la descrizione. Le foto corrispondono molto bene allo spazio. Tuttavia, l'ostello mi ha contattato tramite WhatsApp diversi giorni prima della prenotazione chiedendo la quota associativa di 150 dollari e un deposito di 500 dollari, che non mi sentivo a mio agio a fornire prima dell'arrivo, ma l'ostello ha accettato. Sicurezza: ottima, c'è un lucchetto per il cancello e un lucchetto per la porta, molto sicuro. Igiene: nel complesso molto pulito, nessun problema. Ospitalità: il check-in e il check-out si svolgono interamente tramite WhatsApp, quindi si è in balia della loro reattività, il che può essere frustrante quando si cerca di entrare. Una volta dentro, va tutto bene. Atmosfera sociale: ottimi spazi sociali. Nel complesso: considerando che hanno praticamente il monopolio sugli alloggi nella zona, è un posto piuttosto buono. Ho rotto accidentalmente la chiave e sono venuti a ripararla il giorno dopo, ma hanno detratto 50 dollari dalla cauzione. Quindi maneggiate le chiavi con cura. Un posto piuttosto buono.

We had an enjoyable stay. Great location for hiking and sightseeing, very peaceful setting, lovely views of Lantau Peak and close to the Big Buddha, the chairlift and good bus connections to all over Lantau Island. The buildings have seen better days, as you expect at a youth hostel, but the showers are hot and effective, the kitchen and BBQ facilities are good and the bed is comfortable. The manager is very personable and friendly and it was nice to meet his family. There are few shops to buy ordinary supplies in Ngong Ping, except a very basic 7/11, so you need to stock up before arriving or be prepared to eat at the expensive tourist outlets in the 'village' or at Po Lin monastery. Tourist facilities shut down by 5-6pm.

Depends on your purpose for visiting this area, you may or may not find this hostel convenient. I chose this hostel solely because I planned to check out Tai O and do an early morning hike up Lantau Peak. There’s actually not much in the area except the Giant Buddha, the beautiful monastery, and the Wisdom Path if you choose to include it. This is the only hotel/hostel in the area. There’s no supermarket or convenience store nearby, so I highly suggest bringing plenty of food and drinks before arriving. You might also want to bring your own slippers! The hostel has a water purifier, hot and cold showers, a microwave, fridge, a spacious kitchen, and other essentials. I didn’t cook during my stay—I bought food from Tai O instead. Nonetheless, it was super convenient for me since I like to go slow and enjoy things at my own pace. Note that a membership fee of 150 HKD is required, and there’s also a refundable deposit of 500 HKD, unless you damage something on the property. Karen and Mark were super nice—I had a great chat with both of them!

For an escape time away from the city and crowd.. this is the perfect place 🥰❤️

Good service, great place to visit and lots of activities we can do near by there, just I suggest to make the restroom more better.

Do NOT reccomend. The place is very far away from everything, the access to the area is very limited, the first bus is at 8:30 and the last is around 6 pm. I arrived a little before 4 and the hotel was locked, no way to enter. I clapped, knocked, screamed for a long time and no one came to the gate. After a long time under the rain, i called the number and the guy came to open the gate. The reception is close to the gate, which means he heard me calling and chose not to help. Once i arrived he asked me to pay 500 for deposit and 150 more for a member ship. He gave me some bedsheets which didn't fit the bed, no towel, and took me to the room. Dirty, so much dust, smelling bad and not cleaned. I couldn't even stay one hour in the room, even though i paid for two nights, i just packed up and left the hotel . Again, do not reccomend.

不是第一次住這個hostel 總體來説如果你hiking或者要camping 都是不錯的選擇 就是我收工來東涌太晚了 所以有條小路進去特別害怕 有廢棄的房子 還有烏鴉🐦⬛和蝙蝠🦇叫 我都是跑的 哈哈哈哈 所以建議和朋友一起出行才好 下次還會來玩哦

1）訂房價格界面沒有明示要是YHA會員，非會員要入會費150，衹能帶3個人入住。 2）小孩政策沒説5歲以上沒有加床也要加收150。 3）5歲以上小孩還算人頭，算上9歲小孩剛好是5個人 還需要多收一個會員費。結果一個家庭房多收了150+150+70（小孩會員費70）共多了370!!! 3） 房間衞生間淋浴間 衞生是不能想像的差。非常髒併發黴。可能過了一個冬天 沒有客人就沒有清潔。 唯一可以稱讚的是前台服務員態度很好服務很好。可惜居住條件太差。本來想着衹要地方乾淨就可以，也沒什麼要求。確實是有點被嚇到了！

Für eine Jugendherberge sehr gut. Das beste ist die Lage in den Bergen, was späte bzw. Frühe Touren ermöglicht, da man schon vor Ort ist. Ausstattung ist auch top und für alle Möglichkeiten der Essenszubereitung eingerichtet. Leider waren bei uns viele Kinder zu Gast, was den Lärmpegel stark erhöhte und die Anlage eher hellhörig ist...aber damit muss man ja bei einer Jugendherberge rechnen.

恐龍主題房同小朋友去都唔錯，有小量玩具可以比小朋友可解悶，如果仲意大自然既朋友可以試吓，行山睇日出，天氣好仲有好多星星睇👍👍非常好的選擇
