Yixian Dong Railway Station is located approximately 25km away and Tunxi International Airport around 76km away. With multiple attractions nearby including Tachuan Scenic Area, South Lake and Chengzhi Hall, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Yi County hotel offers parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"Perfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. The entrance to the hotel is a cute, beautiful courtyard, everything is close by. Communication was easy via WeChat, they came to pick us up and carried out heavy luggage all the way to the parking lot, and helped us do laundry in the hotel. The only comments are that the room got some noise from the street, which was very busy at all times, and it wasn’t very well ventilated. They replaced our towels and toiletries but they didn’t make the bed or clean up the room.
In any case this is a great choice for spending a couple of nights right in the middle of Hongcun!"

"Ho prenotato questa casa famiglia perché sono un grande fan dell'architettura in stile huizhou e sicuramente il posto non mi ha deluso. Il design delle camere della casa famiglia dà quella sensazione di antichità. Ti riporta alla dinastia Ming se sei un appassionato di storia cinese. The homestay is divided into two buildings, Building 1 and Building 2. Building 1 has a rare lake view room and a lake view balcony in Hongcun. You can enjoy the sunrise and sunset of South Lake without going out, and the beautiful scenery of clouds and clouds; Building 2 features a Huizhou style courtyard with a classic four water return pattern. Soak in a cup of Maofeng tea and enjoy a leisurely time on the sofa, watching the drizzling rain; At night, you can also go to the balcony and watch the stars twinkle and the moonlight shine brightly; The decoration here is simple and elegant, both modern and well integrated with the local quiet temperament. "È la prima volta che scrivo un commento quindi non chiedo aiuto! ! È stato un soggiorno davvero confortevole! Oggi a Hongcun fa già un po' freddo e l'aria condizionata funziona molto bene e la stanza è molto calda. È rilassante sdraiarsi sul letto e guardare la TV. L'hotel è molto pulito e la posizione è molto comoda. Anche la sorella del capo è molto gentile ed entusiasta. Buono. È un peccato che ho soggiornato solo per 2 giorni. Il B&B si trova vicino all'ingresso sud di Hongcun. La posizione è facile da trovare lungo la strada sterrata è molto tranquillo e silenzioso nel trambusto di Hongcun! "Gorgeous little inn within hongcun. Clean, picturesque, conveniently located. Heater worked well enough but the room also included an electric blanket which was nice.
One thing of note is the entrance fee for hongcun is ¥104 for Chinese, 50% off for foreigners. (Including Macao, Hong Kong and Taiwan for some reason??) this is completely out of the hotels control and most locals are against it."

"Owners are very kind , friendly and helpful 😍. I booked villa for our family and the house is quite big (3bedrooms). The attic room super warm ( -4 when I visited ) but very dirty under the bed. The location is near to the gate. At the owner house has 2cat(mimi1 and mimi2) and 1dog(xiaobai).
Owner help us to booked the car to Huangshan. (if you want to book the car for pick up from airport or train station please contact hotel directly the price will be cheaper than transport service at there ALOT!!!)

"This is an awesome elegant place with great location. We travelled from Singapore and booked 3 rooms, and everyone is very happy and impressed with the stay. Need to call (or weixin) in advance to arrange for a buggy transport into the village, helpful if you have heavy luggage! The service staff are friendly and approachable. They are thoughtful in providing tea souvenir when checking out. What mars the great experience was that on my return, realized to my horror that there is no tea in the Tea-box. So, carried a tea metal box across the ocean for nothing! Did not expect such a service slip for such a top-class hotel. Regardless, will still highly recommend this place if you plan to stay in the village."

AArijanaLove this resort! Great location on the Xidi square, beautiful architecture, rooms actually very luxurious with heated floors, Japanese toilet and large round bath tub. Staff were very helpful, at some point when we were in town, they sent us WeChat message that there is fish lantern festival happening in the square, so we managed to take a part! Breakfast is local food, as expected. There is a small terrace above reception, great views especially on the misty morning. They gave us set of towels, comb, slippers and box of local sweets, beautiful gesture! They are very responsive on WeChat of his to meet us and they organize a transfer to Yinxi station (10mins), much closer then Huangshan! Xidi is beautiful and resort made it even more unforgettable.

UUtente ospiteHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

The hotel's interior is beautifully designed, featuring many artistic elements that create a unique and charming atmosphere. However, there were some small design issues that detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
One issue was the bed frame, which was positioned in such a way that it was easy to accidentally knock into it. Additionally, the courtyard rooms, while picturesque, were not directly connected to the main building, requiring a short walk, which was less than ideal during rainy weather.
Furthermore, navigating the hotel involved quite a number of steps and uneven surfaces, which could be hazardous if one is not careful. Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel's overall ambiance and artistic flair made for a memorable stay. With a few adjustments, the Hongcun Zuoxian Art Hotel could truly shine as a top-notch destination.

SShanna LeighTraveling with 2 of my friends on a fun girls trip! This was such an amazing location. We went from a sad and boring hotel in Beijing to this fantastic location and suddenly the whole trip was more fun and much more interesting. The host met us at the entrance to Hongcun and carried our luggage in the back of his little vehicle as we followed him around quaint buildings and through a narrow cobblestone walkway which was perfect for walking and pretty impressive to drive thru without scratching anything. After the beautiful walk we came through the most beautiful circle archway and into the cutest courtyard. We rented the room with a queen bed downstairs and 2 full beds up in the loft. The rooms were so cute we had to hide our luggage to do a full video tour to show our families before unpacking. The beds have mattress toppers which helped soften up the beds for us Americans. The host was very helpful and I would suggest getting WeChat to translate if you don’t speak Chinese. I don’t but it was easy to communicate. I would definitely stay at here again. Highly recommended!

UUtente ospiteMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

AAixuexideYukiHo soggiornato in un famoso poeta di più di 300 anni di storia nel villaggio di Liu. La posizione è vicino all'albero di Liu. È molto conveniente ovunque. È molto vicino alle attrazioni, ma non vicino a una strada del mercato notturno, e la notte è molto tranquilla.
La nostra stanza è al piano di sopra della prima foto, la stanza non è grande, ma abbastanza usata e non è sovraccarica.La toilette è intelligente, il vento è Daisy, la stanza è molto caldo in legno originale.

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!
